Description

Ferne Clyffe Campground is a camping ace in an otherwise niche-like deck; it can comfortably accommodate anyone from the novice, amenity-minded camper to the more primitive, bare-boned outdoorsperson. There are even campsites for your saddle-backed quadropod and twenty closest friends ’n’ family. And, inundated by the like-named forty-two-acre lake, you’ll be pruney for the pine-swept days to come!

I don't really know what's going on with this map - both Reserve America and Google Maps show that Ferne Clyffe is that blotch of green right below Goreville IL, and the pointer here is near Metropolis along the Mississippi, about 30 miles further south. Um. Guys.

I have camped and hiked here. Absolutely love it. Beautiful waterfalls and caves. It is just outside of Goreville.
