Description

Just two miles in from the Bechler Ranger Station, this campground offers a peaceful taste of Targhee. Two miles from that, and you’re staring at the face of Cave Falls. Go ahead and toss your “Relaxing Sounds 5” CD, because the rush of Fall River is enough to calm even the grizzliest of bears. Oh, didn’t we mention? This campground is located on grizzly territory! String up your trash so you and the bears can both enjoy a nice, cool afternoon swim.

My husband and I camped here this weekend. It was quiet and beautiful. Great for fishing. We went mile or so up the road from the campsite and walked to cave falls.
There was no ranger on site so make sure you have exact change, $10. About 10 miles leading to the site is a dirt road, but I'd expect most vehicles would be able to make it just fine.
