This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. Robert and Elyse met us at the front of the property and since it had rained, they moved us to a more level site. Their little herd of animals all being protected by their several Great Pyrenees. Snowed on us then cleared up to almost 60. Highly recommend this place for boondockers. Great hosts with great views!!
Great views, and we didn’t see a single person or car the whole time. We did get a visit from some deer, cows, a horse, and a donkey. Great overall stay. We will be back.
This is a gorgeous campsite. The description of camping facilities is accurate. What I wasn’t expecting was the amazing rock formations and the vast size of the property. Breathtaking!! The campsites are spread far apart. I went for a 1.5 mile walk on the campsite road and only passed 2 other campsites. The terrain is very hilly. We were provided with a bundle of wood which was unexpected. There are portable outhouses available but due to the large space between campsites, you may want to drive your car if you have to go bad! The outhouse was clean, as were the campsites. The mountains are visible from some of the campsites. There are cows, a horse and a donkey grazing in the area. The cows went the other way when they saw me, the donkey was curious but kept its distance and the horse came up to me for a pat on the nose. This was the nicest campsite we’ve stayed in on this trip. If you are in the area I would definitely suggest staying here.

Robert met us at the office and we followed him to our site...#8. What a great site. Up on a hill with great views. Just what we needed after a long winter. This was our first camping trip of the season and it did not disappoint. We absolutely loved camping on Robert and Elyse's land it is gorgeous. We hiked, explored and tried to ride our bikes (the hills kicked our behinds) We had a visit from the dogs and they are the sweetest! We seen deer, cows a horse and a donkey. We didn't want to leave as it was so peaceful. We would definitely return. Thank you for opening up your land to us we enjoyed every moment and made some memories.
It was fantastic! The camp site was beautiful secluded with great views! We will definitely be back! Loved it
Elyse was great and got us setup as soon as we arrived. The wood we ordered was already at the site and it was a fantastic area to camp and hike around in.
My wife and took our infant son on his first camping trip and these hosts made it a special occasion! Plenty of space at each site, amazing property to explore, and lots of firewood delivered to keep us warm! Excellent place and we plan to return!
