We have 2 canvas tents, 1 log cabin, and 2 bring your own tent sites along the Snake River in Swan Valley Idaho. Each cabin and glamping tent sites have electricity, minifridge, queen size bed and heat. Portable toilets and a community outdoor shower on 700ft of riverfront. Access to some of the best trout fishing in the U.S. is just steps from your stay. Mountain views with nesting Osprey. Elk and deer also wander the property. Horseback riding and boat rentals are available nearby. One-hour drive to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Teton Park, and two hours to Yellowstone. Also attractions in our valley are Falls creek falls, an assume view just steps from your car you can stand on top of a wide spread waterfall dropping into the snake river. Just a couple miles from camp is Palisades creek trailhead, a wonderful hike along a wide creek through the forest with multiple foot bridges crossing the creek and leading to 2 mountain lakes. we have seen a family of moose at the lower lake 2 out of 3 times we hiked it. A trail to the right just before the lake brings you to an out cropping of rocks giving you an elevated view. And of course Palisades reservoir, a 20 mile long stretch of water is just 3 miles from camp. The dam keeps the water flow of the snake at optimal flow all season.

Don’t forget to enjoy the sunsets on your private outdoor porches! Eagle Peak Provisions are available for purchase at the hotel lobby for our guests with a variety of dietary preferences.
RV & Tent Sites
We are located at 205 White Pines Avenue, Ashton, Idaho 83420, kitty corner to the lodge. Most sites are pull-through, but we never have an issue with guests pulling in or out of our perimeter spots, as we can take up to 66-foot rigs. Sites have full hook-ups including water, sewer, and power with both 50-amp + 30-amp options.
At this time, sites do not offer cable TV. Dedicated bathrooms/showers are NOT available. Please see our community accommodations information below for any bathroom/laundromat needs.

Shared amenities include a wood-fired sauna, outdoor kitchen, hot outdoor shower, grill, fire pit, covered seating area, and running water. The property is split in half by a creek. On one side you have parking, shared bathhouse, kitchen and common area. On the other side is the tent site. The walk from the parking area and bathhouse is 3 minutes or 50 yards. Vehicle parking is next to kitchen and bathroom amenities. The property is home to a small homestead and working herbal farm.
Our location provides easy access to many of the area's most popular attractions. Grand Targhee Resort, the Teton River, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole, and the charming towns of Driggs and Victor are all within driving distance.
There is another vacation rental on the property, a small cottage for up to two guests. Guests share the main amenities and the tent site is private for HipCamp guests. We live on the property in a yurt and are available if needed, we respect our guests' privacy and aim to create a quiet retreat where you can enjoy the land at your own pace. We look forward to sharing this special corner of Idaho with you.

This is a 16 foot traditional style tipi, facing east, with two sleeping platforms and a Solo fire container. The National Park is 20 minutes away, the Town of Jackson is about 8 miles away, Teton Pass is just up the road. Right now the Elk are bugling in the field right across from us. Jackson Hole is a place that many people prize for its adventure, wildlife, scenery, and friendly tipi owners. Hope to see you here.

Campground itself is very nice. Loaded with wildlife. During our two nights day there was mule deer, a badger and a grizzly. Only complaint was paying extra to use the shower.

We enjoyed this campground very much. Would definitely book here again in the future. Colter bay village was a short walk for the camp ground and really has all the things you would need. They had laundry, a shower place bathrooms all over the place, a general store and a restaurant they served breakfast and dinner.

Colter Bay was awesome. Super wooded and felt pretty private. No hookups but boondocking was totally manageable with dump and water accessible. Saw our first bear at grand Teton!

Overall good experience. The loops each have restrooms within walking distance from the camp spot. Lots of room and not to far from the lake. Me prepared for mosquitoes!
