The farm is on 12 acres of sloping field set against a tall forested backdrop, and only a 5 minute walk from restaurants, shopping, bars and groceries. Three designated campsites are spaced around the property, each with a fire pit and picnic table. There is a communal central deck for camper's use, with a water spigot, power outlet and sink, plus a propane stove and some cooking utensils. A communal port-a-potty is available to campers. Parking is in one designated location, and campers must be prepared to walk about 300 feet over uneven ground to their campsite. A wagon is provided to tote your items.
The working farm fields are not open to campers, but can be admired as a backdrop. Do not enter the flower fields or the barn on the property! A You-Pick flower patch and farm stand at the entrance of the property are open for shopping, picture-taking and flower-picking seasonally.
Campsite 1 and 3 are best for larger groups, with campsite 3 being my favorite. Campsite 2 is the smallest, best for groups of 2, and is the most private though the furthest walk from parking. Campsite 2 has a treed spot to stick your tent or move the table into, though the rest of the site gets afternoon sun.

A beautiful retreat
The camp is on a beautiful flower farm. It is set back from the road so it is peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed walking on the property and having easy access to town.
Excellent location great host
This is a great place to base for a Vashon Island experience. It is well located and near the "downtown" for grocery shopping. The host (Alyssa) is very accommodating and the grounds are exceptionally well kept. The sites are quiet and relaxing. We highly recommend Sweet Alyssum Farm for your camping experience on Vashon.
Staying at Alyssa’s flower farm was such a lovely experience. She was so patient with my millions of questions and the property is truly beautiful. It’s close enough to everything but also feels very remote. The kitchen had everything I needed! The campsites were also great! All 3 were different but magical in their own way.
Nice spot right next to town.
Very nice and convenient camping spot. We stayed in Camp 2 which had a tent pad nestled back in the tree line.
The wagon get get gear back and forth was very helpful and the communal cooking and clean up area was great.
A short walk to town also made for a great experience.
We really enjoyed camping here. We stayed at campsite #1 and it was perfect for our family of four with a big tent. Some of the other spots may have more flat land, but for 1 tent it was great. It’s exactly as described. Big open space next to beautiful flowers and the woods as a backdrop. It was quiet and secluded but a very short walk into town. This would be a great spot to come back to with friends and rent out all 3 sites.
Alyssa's farm was beautiful, quiet, and secluded... and walking distance to downtown. It was such a wonderful option to enjoy Vashon Island for more than a day trip. And the flowers were stunning, of course! The farm had such a romantic and magical atmosphere.
The outhouse on site might be the cleanest port-a-potty I've ever used, there were helpful solar path lights for guests arriving after dark, and even a communal cook station. We loved the space and it's clear that Alyssa put a lot of effort into thoughtful amenities.
Our only complaint was a concert venue nearby playing well past 11:30 pm both nights we stayed, but that was in no way a fault of the camp, just a reality of staying close to town.
This place is perfect, almost. The farm is adorable with beautiful flowers and farm animals. Very calm and relaxing (we saw deer!). Great clean campsites spaced apart from each other. Nice communal deck space with a picnic table, faucet with sink, area to cook. Easy walk to restaurants, bars, bakeries, stores, and such.
Still, I hesitate to come back because we were kept awake both nights from music coming from a venue nearby. Not sure if this is a regular thing but it was going on both Friday and Saturday night til 10:30pm. Too bad it was not the type of music I like.
