The farm is on 12 acres of sloping field set against a tall forested backdrop, and only a 5 minute walk from restaurants, shopping, bars and groceries. Three designated level campsites are spaced around the property, each with a fire pit and picnic table. There is a communal central deck for camper's use, with a water spigot, power outlet and sink, plus a propane stove and some cooking utensils. A communal port-a-potty is available to campers. Parking is in one designated location, and campers must be prepared to walk about 300 feet over uneven ground to their campsite.

The working farm fields are not open to campers, but can be admired as a backdrop. A You-Pick flower patch and farm stand at the entrance of the property are open for shopping, picture-taking and flower-picking seasonally.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay on the Vashon flower farm. Based on past reviews we picked site #3 which proved to be perfect for our large tent. Sites 1 and 2 were definitely cosier with a less open level space for a larger tent, but enjoy shelter from the trees and added privacy. The outdoor kitchen was amazing. Set on a raised deck, having use of a sink, running water and the stove was ideal. Cutlery, crockery and cookware is also available for anyone who doesn't bring their own as well. No one else was camping at the site so we had the run of the facilities. The sites are private from one another but this would be a great option for someone looking to group camp and book all three sites with friends. I'm not sure how it would work to share the communal outdoor kitchen not knowing the other campers but each site has a picnic table so we would just have cooked with our own stuff there if needed. The porta potty was clean and convenient. Solar lanterns have been thoughtfully placed around the site to make it easy to move around at night and there is tons of space for the kids to run around. To top it off, it is only a short walk into Vashon town which is delightful with tons of eating and drinking spots, lots of outdoor seating options and we were pleasantly surprised to see very observant mask and social distancing adherence throughout the friendly town. We would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks Alyssa, we're still enjoying the flowers we purchased from the farm stand on leaving as a reminder of our stay.

We loved our stay. Carrying in our gear from the parking space was a bit of effort but the wagon provided worked great! The campsite was private and a short walk/bike ride from town. The communal cooking space was well maintained as was the portapotty. We’ll definitely be back!

It was absolutely beautiful! We felt like we were immersed in nature but we could easily drive or walk to go boutique and grocery shopping five minutes away. Saw lots of deer and the flowers of course were pretty to walk by.

We loved our experience at Alyssa's Flower Farm. The property is beautiful - everywhere you look, you're surrounded by gorgeous scenes of nature. Sunrise and sunset was amazing, and there's something so lovely about hearing songbirds in the trees. They have a beautiful flower farm, and we fell very lucky to have gotten the chance to enjoy it. We loved every moment here, and we can't wait for an opportunity to come back!

Quiet, cozy and comfortable…everything you need for a relaxing trip to Vashon Island. The communal outdoor kitchen has everything you’d need to help you prepare a wonderful meal, but if you prefer to explore the island and relax this camp is located only 5 minutes from a variety of restaurants and a grocery store.

The location is really great, super close to shops, grocery store, etc. Spot #3 seems to be the picturesque spot to stay if you can, we booked spot 1, which was down a little hill from the kitchen area. It was cooler down there which was nice on the hot summer day we chose to camp. The kitchen area was well stocked and very clean. As noted in other reviews, they have a large wagon to carry your camping gear which was really nice as it was a bit of a walk in. We were able to be easily secluded to ourselves the entire stay. Overall it was a nice experience and a very convenient camping spot for a night or two away from the city without a super long drive.

Location is great and super central on Vashon. There was a handy cart to wheel everything to our site & a great little outdoor communal kitchen. Very peaceful camping as we watched deer graze from afar and ate delicious May’s take-out under the trees. Picked some flowers before we left home and said hello to some sheep. Will definitely be booking here again!

We only stayed at Alyssa's farm one night - and wished we could have stayed longer! The place was extremely well organized with lots of signage to help us find our campsite, and a wonderful deck area with propane stove, sink and access to electricity. The setting was lovely and the site itself (campsite #2) was super private. We were there so briefly that we didn't get to meet our hostess, but we did get a warm greeting from Ripley the farm dog! I hope we can come back again!
