Our property is conveniently located just off State Route 4 in Grays River, Washington. We have over 10 acres of open pasture land, along with creekside camping sites and walking trails throughout the property. Currently, we offer boondocking sites, two back-in RV sites, and one tent site. While we are working towards adding more amenities, please note that we do not yet have restroom facilities. The property is a 30-minute drive from Astoria, Oregon, and Long Beach, Washington. Local attractions include the Grays River Historic Covered Bridge, Duffy's Irish Pub, and various nearby river access points.

Tent site 1 can accommodate one vehicle and one large tent. The site is a grassy area with parking adjacent to the driveway. Please note that this is a boondocking site, meaning there are no hookups or restroom facilities available. However, potable water is available nearby for filling jugs. Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a leash. The site is adjacent to an open field, and mowed walking trails are available around the property of approx. 10 acres. Cell phone reception is minimal. We do provide guest Wi-Fi, but it only reaches near the road.

RV/Tent Site 2 can accommodate a maximum of a 30-foot back-in RV, with parking available for one additional vehicle. It can also be used as a tent site. The site is relatively flat; however, it may require minor leveling and features a rocky surface with a grassy area for chairs. A small year-round creek runs along the back of the site. Please note that this is a boondocking site, meaning there are no hookups or restroom facilities available. However, potable water is available for filling jugs nearby. The site offers morning sunlight and afternoon shade. Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a leash. Great one night stay. It was easy to find, flat area to park. Stream right near by. Not a super picturesque site but worked great for us when visiting Good River area of Oregon.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect for the activities we had planned. The directions and arrival instructions were simple and the hosts made us feel right at home. The setting is just beautiful and we frequently saw deer in the meadow that the site overlooks.

Perfection. Mark is a great host and I enjoyed chatting with him. This location is perfect for my needs and I recommend anyone fishing the Columbia to consider camping here. There is more than enough room for a boat to turn around. It's quiet and very accessible. There is also corn hole!

Great property, the tent site is a nice private spot on gravel. Thanks to the owner for being super friendly and helpful with showing us how to get to the site as we arrived after dark and didn’t have cell service

This was a very nice place to camp. The view is a beautiful meadow; Lisa met us when we drove in and showed us our spot. The place is very clean and well maintained. We’d come back again.

The hosts were absolutely wonderful! Very helpful and communicative. There was a little mix up of our site but they immediately informed us before we arrived to work things through and they were there in person to help us get situated. Absolutely lovely people. The spot we stayed at had a pretty view of their property and was recently maintained. I love the smell of fresh cut grass. They mow trails all around their property and I enjoyed walking my dog along the trail in the morning fog. There's an Irish pub at the start of the road to their campground that has fantastic homemade apple pie, definitely get you some pie. Google maps took us to the wrong location so be sure to put in the address they provide. Cape Dissapointment was a 40 minute drive and a perfect destination for hiking and site seing some pretty lighthouses or roaming the beach. If you like old forts there's Fort Columbia on the way as well. All in all, I highly recommend!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Sisu Camping Retreat! The hosts, Lisa and Mark, were exceptional—so kind, caring, accommodating, and genuinely dedicated to making our experience special. Our site was set at the edge of a spacious, peaceful field, beneath beautiful trees, the perfect, peaceful spot to relax and enjoy nature. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always ready to help make our day even better. One of the highlights was enjoying a delicious breakfast on the deck at Duffy’s Irish Pub—just a very short walk away, right on Gray’s River, it’s a one-of-a-kind historic spot with tons of charm.The owner and chef of Duffy’s Irish Pub is 92 years old! It was a memorable and relaxing stay all around, and we’re already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful time camping here! The hosts were absolutely lovely so welcoming, kind, and helpful. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The spot itself is beautiful, peaceful, and well cared for perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great camping experience with genuinely kind people. We’d definitely love to come back!

Lisa and her husband are such a nice people so friendly and helpful! Their property is huge full of wild life. They have nice tiny trails to do morning warm up:) Millions of blackberries on the way…
