We spent three relaxing nights at Road to the Sun Ranch. What a peaceful location overlooking the pastures which were typically hosting a herd of deer in the mornings and evenings.
Peaceful. Lovely. Perfect jumping off spot for Capital Reef and beyond.

Thank you Gretchen. Glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to your return someday.
We loved Zack's property. It was close enough to town and the national park, but away from the busy-ness of all the other campsites. We've gotten so spoiled using Hipcamp since they tend to be quieter places with much less people, and Zack's place was just that. It was beautiful, peaceful, and had all the amenities for a travel trailer. We even had the location to ourselves. It was no issue at all to find the place and Zack's instructions made check in a breeze. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely be back! Thank you again!

Thank you Linda! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to your return. Safe travels!
We loved the peace, solitude and beauty. This right in the middle so some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere. We will return!!!
It is fairly private, cause it is the only site (which is great). We had a dog and it provided space there. Great location. It is a bit close to one road so some traffic noise, but there is little traffic on that road in the evening.

Thank you John! We appreciate your feedback and hope you enjoyed your stay during your visit to the Capitol Reef area. You are welcome back anytime. Safe travels!
Great directions and very private quiet site.
Very quiet and comfortable. Would work great for RVs that do full hook-ups. It was great to have wifi at the site. Easy access to Capital Reef.
We stayed one night here. We were gone most of the day and left early in the morning for our next destination, so we didn’t get much time to enjoy it. But it was fun camping allll alone, with nothing but some trees and a wide open pasture next to us!
Had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.
