RV site is a gravel pad in a grassy area with a national forest on three sides. Horses grazing in a adjacent pasture. Area frequented by deer and elk. All sites are pull-through with power, water, sewer, and Wi-Fi. Nearby, you have the pavilion/bathhouse with free showers/restrooms, and laundry. Lounge area also available with big screen TV, microwave, vending, and indoor tables/chairs.
This campsite consistently impresses with its immaculate facilities, including clean showers, restrooms, and laundry services. The location offers breathtaking scenery, perfect for stargazing and exploring nearby natural attractions. Ray, the host, is known for his kindness and helpfulness, making guests feel welcome and well-cared for. While most campers appreciate the quiet atmosphere, it might not be ideal for those looking to stay up late by a campfire.
I had a great visit. There were several sites to choose from, the bathrooms and showers were brand new and very tidy with a nice utility room also. The name was appropriate because right adjoining the campsite was a meadow with horses, grazing, peacefully, and across the road cows doing the same. There were no noises at night and the stars were very bright. I met Ray in the morning and he’s a very nice gentleman. I would stay here again should I pass that way, which I hope to
This was a lovely and well maintained HipCamp site. Ray went out of his way to accommodate and provided clean facilities and added features like ice available on site. Would definitely return.
Awesome land, beautiful area. I got some great astrophotography in! Facilities for laundry, showers, and restrooms were super clean and the washer and dryer worked really well.
A little gem of a place to stay that is quiet. This was our first time taking our camper on a long trip and this spot near Boulder was perfect and close to the national parks.
Location is great. Price is great. Clean showers and laundry facilities and my personal favorite, large, level, soft earth tent pads. I highly recommend this campground.
Traditional RV park style setup with somewhat level ground. Nice bathhouse facilities. Some noise from other campers hanging out. Not bad for a night passing through.
The site was exactly as expected based on the description. We met the owner and he was very kind and helpful. People definitely went to bed early and kept quiet so not a good place to stay up late by a fire, but a great base for hiking or explore the area all day.
Great location with easy access to lots of amazing nature. We camped in a tent and the ground was soft and the new facilities for laundry, common room, showers and bathrooms were amazing! I can’t recommend this spot highly enough!
We couldn’t have asked for more during our stay at Boulder Meadow. It was self check-in, so we picked our RV spot and had no problems hooking up to power and water. There’s a new structure that has some of the nicest, cleanest bathroom/shower rooms I’ve seen along with laundry and a vending machine. You’re a short 8min drive to Boulder and a couple of must stop restaurants. We only stayed one night but would easily stay for longer on our next visit.
Lots of room at each tent site. I was the only tent with a bunch of RVs. All the RVs were quiet. The building with the restrooms/showers was really nice. Grass area wasn’t level but I had leveling blocks so my rooftop tent setup was fine.
Great place in Staircase Escalante area. I arrived late and had to leave early, would have loved to spend time hanging out. Very nice common area, didn’t have a chance to use the showers but they look really nice. Fabulous night sky. Easy to find. Would definitely stay there again.
What a great spot! The bath house is super nice -- running water, including 12 minute hot showers included with stay! There's also free laundry if you're staying and a nice big sink that I used to do dishes. A hangout area and tons of outlets for charging up electronics, couch and some tables/chairs, free wifi, and a microwave -- felt like I was glamping! I will definitely recommend this place to others! I will say, the tent camping spots while flat did not appear super level so just be aware of that. Great location close to many things in Grand Staircase as well!
Nice spot in a convenient location right off the highway. The brand new indoor space (bathrooms, laundry, lounge type area with wifi, large covered patio) was really nice since it was raining while we were there.
This site is ideal for stopping somewhere near Capitol Reef. Beautiful drive from the park through the National Forest; I was not expecting Ray's place to be as nice as it was. Brand new guest area with a TV, shower, laundry, and bathrooms with great WiFi. Great piece of land with excellent views and better services. As a tent camper Ray was kind enough to offer a trailer for my night's stay due to low temps. I have stayed at multiple hipcamps over the last few years and this is far and away the best. Will be coming back 100% when in the area.
