What is the Columbia Gorge known for?

The Columbia Gorge, straddling the Columbia River, which divides Oregon and Washington, is famous for its scenic outlooks and ample hiking opportunities. The Oregon side in particular is known for its waterfalls, including Multnomah Falls, one of the tallest year-round falls in the country.
