Elk Prairie is a hidden gem, and we are lucky that Clint shares this with the public. We stayed at site one which is the closest to the waterfall, so we had an uninterrupted view. Falling asleep to the rushing water and babbling brook made the place even more magical. As others shared, pack light or prepare for multiple trips down and up the hill. Considering the outhouse was not fully enclosed, it was surprisingly clean and decent to use (even my wife managed and she hates porta potties!).

AMAZING! secluded, refreshing and close to nature. Short hike down hill across the creek and youre in a canopy of beautiful trees and wonderful waterfall. Perfect for short or long trips. Will be returning this summer, Clint is a great host and great conversationalist would reccomend chatting if you get the chance. Otherwise youre left in peace with no disturbance to enjoy nature on his beautiful land.

This camp site is beautiful! We went camping in the early spring and would love to come back in the summer to swim. Be aware that the walk to the campsite is a bit of a way and mostly downhill. You may want to pack light. We brought a wagon that helped a lot with the load. Since we went during a storm, we were the only campers there. Privacy between the camp sites are just a few ferns, however the sites are a good size and the waterfall is loud enough that you probably won't hear your neighbors. All in all we had a great time and would love to come back.

My buddies and I really enjoyed our time camping on Clint's property. The waterfall by the camp site was a sight to see. And plenty of other views can be found if you explore a bit. Would definitely camp here again.

What a magic spot! We loved the seclusion, and the sound of the waterfall so near your tent was fantastic. The host is very responsive, but also gave us our privacy. There is an inclined path from parking down to the campsites, so be aware if you have a ton of gear that you'll be making trips. We did this and it was no problem at all. Contrary to some reviews, the host is very clear about his rules in both the listing and his explanation to you at check in. If you read the listing thoroughly there will be no surprises. The camp area is very shady and cozy, and there is some exploring to do on the property. Quick drive to Molalla, Silverton, and various hikes. The sites are fairly close together, but it could be a benefit if you were doing a group camp.
It was a bit too cold for swimming in the falls pool, but we did spend hours just sitting and twirling about in the canoe that's provided. It was really relaxing and beautiful. Great spot, thanks for sharing it with us!

This is a great place if you are looking for something a little more laid back and quiet.
Clint, the owner and up-keeper of the area is a really chill, kind gentleman. You can tell he cares a lot about his land and just wants to share it with people. I am very gracious to have been able to experience this place. PLEASE respect the land, do not litter or go to the bathroom in the surrounding plant life!!
A couple things to note:
There is a bit of a hike down to the campsites. I would highly suggest packing lightly.
The campsites are pretty close together, so be kind to the people around you and you are sure to meet some new friends.
Overall, this was a fun, chill, meditative experience. I look forward to returning here.

We enjoyed our stay in Trillum 2 it was clean and had a table, fire pit and logs for seats. The water fall and pool were so magical. The composting toilet was clean and private. The walk from where you park your car to the actual site is pretty far and on a hill. You will def want to pack super light. The camp sites are very close together, you will be able to see your neighbors. That being said it truly feels like a couples retreat, the really great part (for us) was the no kids or dogs allowed. It made for a very relaxing time. Clint came out and greeted us when we got there and gave us some helpful instructions and suggested a beautiful little hike.

Overall the property is beautiful, there’s a trail that leads to a stunning view of the mountains and trees. Upon arrival we were greeted by the property owner who was friendly but a little wordy. I think he could have put the information and concerns he told us on the app so my young friend and I didn’t feel uncomfortable… He then came down to the sites to talk with the other campers who basically stood outside our tent and loudly talked for 30 plus minutes… but yet the rules state we’re not even allowed to play music & keep noise down. The directions that Clint gave were relatively clear. It would have helped to add that you drive down the gravel road for about 1.6 miles before you get to the orange barrier where you turn right into the parking spaces. Personally the camp sites were very well maintained but way to close to each other. So if you are looking for a private camping spot this is not it when there’s other campers. You can basically hear each other’s conversations, although the waterfall does drown out a bit of the noise. The sun doesn’t really shine into the area which makes it feel dingy and dark, since the fire ban was still in place we couldn’t have a fire which made it worse… It also would have been nice to note that you have to haul your things down and up a hill from your car to the site, although there is a wheel barrel provided. Lastly, being surrounded by the waterfall and trees makes the area feel moist and wet so that’s something to keep it mind.

The camp site is unbelievable. It’s so beautiful, so well kept and pictures truly don’t do the site justice. I am a young solo female camper and Clint went above and beyond to give me my space and privacy after checking in and giving me the run down. I screamed when a mouse jumped out of my trash can annd climbed onto me. Clint was down to the campsite to check on me from hearing a scream within 15min. Even when he came to check on me he still gave me my space. It meant a great deal to me being single and alone that he checked on me without encroaching my space. I can’t say enough good things about this Hipcamp. Follow the directions given even if you have to stop in the middle of the road n take your time. The directions are perfectly put you just have to pay attention. Also, I highly recommend bringing a wagon or packing light. Because you will have to make a 5 min walk downhill/up hill into the campsite. IT IS WELL FRIGGING WORTH IT THOUGH! I will be back and I’m so happy I booked this site. It was the perfect place to reset and recharge. My favorite part was packing a lil picnic n floating around in the kayak provided at the lil water hole. Thank you Clint for sharing your space and keeping it in tip top condition!

Beautiful environmentally preserved. Not for the run of the mill campers. If you want to dump sticky bug attracting drinks or piss allover the place, please look for something more ON THE GRID! PLEASE.

This is an ENVIRONMENTAL GEM. If you want to, SPIT, PEE, pour STICKY DRINKS or have a fear of SMALL night creatures. STOP NOW, and look at STATE PARK'S!!! This is out of most people's understanding, the concept of" do you treat YOUR floors at home like this"!It's definitely a pack it ,(LIKE BACK HOME), not the neighbors cans conveniently placed for their use. It's when guest ,( yes, you pay but you are still ONLY a guest) can't or don't follow the simple rules. Remember there are reasons for rules.
I am a low impact backpacker and would not bother bringing more than I want to carry. I could and did JUST hung out by the waterfall fall. This is such a magical place!!!

Take care of this place and follow the rules and it will become your favorite campsite in all of Oregon. Clint works hard to maintain the land here and share it with others. We lucked out and were able to get all three sites for a night and it was the most magical time among dear friends. We hope to be back, but that depends on the Hipcamp community’s obligation to respect the land you borrow.

This spot was very special and I would recommend it although with some warnings - be ready to walk just a small bit with all your belongings, we brought quite a bit with us and it was an effort bringing it down and bringing it up from where you park to where you camp. There is a wheelbarrow provided at the beginning of the trail which was a necessity for us and huge help. The camp sites are rather close to eachother so don’t expect complete privacy or complete silence. With that said, this spot gives you that feeling that we strive for when camping, solitude and being one with nature. Clint is very friendly and it was a treat to enjoy this space.

What stood out about Clint’s hip-camp was his reverence and relationship to the land. This a very special place and unique place. We went for one night to see the meteor showers. The trail above waterfall provided a perfect vantage point to see the celestial phenomenon. The campsites are immaculately clean, each with a view of the waterfall and swimming area. The stream that runs by sites lulls you to sleep at night. It flows west so at sunset the forest canopy is illuminated leading right up to the waterfall. Disclaimer. Be respectful. Take your trash with you. Do not dump it in his neighbor’s bins on your way out. This place was once the hunting grounds of the Molalla. Treat this place with reverence. It’s a gem.

This is an enchanting spot that you have to do a little work to get to. The journey in this case, is worth it and part of the joy of this space. Clint the host has dedicated his life to being a steward of this magical oasis and loves to share the wonder it has brought him. Please be respectful and follow the rules.-this is sacred indigenous land and treat it as such!
We slept so well with the sound of the waterfall just a hundred feet away. The three sites are right next to one another, but with the sound of water, you can’t really hear much. That being said, this is a spot that works best when everyone follows the rules and keeps noise to a minimum. We lucked out the other campers were respectful and there for similar vibes: relaxation and restoration. We walked up to the ridge and enjoyed the perseid meteors the night sky is clear and brilliant up there. We also enjoyed a swim in the cold but refreshing swimming hole. The outhouse is clean and the cute bouquet left inside was charming. The sites are large and pristine with nice seating provided with tree stumps. A couple tips:
Follow the directions sent to you by Clint. The gravel drive is very well maintained-it feels longer than 1/2 mile but it’s because you need to take it slow since it is only wide enough for a single vehicle. The walk down to the sites is about 4-5 minutes and the trail is maintained. A wheelbarrow is provided, but keeping it lite will make it easier. One of the top camping experiences of my life!

The campsite felt like a magical fairyland completely immersed in nature. Though the spots are pretty close to your neighbors, the beauty of the waterfall drowns out nearby conversations. Though the water was chilly, my friend and I couldn’t resist tubing in the waterfall. Lying at the base of the falls in the sun was the best part of our trip. You can tell how much Clint cares for his land and wants everyone to feel welcome and connected. He stopped by each day to introduce himself to new guests and was very responsive on the chat. Thank you for the unique experience and all the laughs and smiles that came along with it.

The campsite area is beautiful with stunning photo worthy waterfalls!
Clint had provided a small boat to float around in a pond near the waterfall.
The campsite was clean. The outhouse is nice! Stocked with hand sanitizer, toilet paper and does not smell bad. Clint is readily available and helpful.

Beautiful site near waterfall and private swimming hole! Nearby compost toilet, benches, firepits. Could do without saw dust, though it was cushy for the tent. Mollala has a lot to offer for nature lovers, and camping at a waterfall after a hot day is super relaxing. Not recommended for those with bad knees or prefer "drive-in" camping due to hill you have to walk down with cart or wheel barrow. For me, that was just another reason to enjoy the water :).

Clint was an excellent host, and the site did not disappoint. It was actually better than the pictures and videos. The description doesn't say much about the walk from the car to the campsites. It was only around 5 minutes, but there is a hill involved on the way back to the cars. We benefited from having wagons along to transport our things. Nothing about this walk deters from the trip, just nice to know in advance. We also visited at a time when fires were banned, but Clint allowed us to bring our propane fire pit and it worked beautifully as a replacement. This place is so special you almost don't want to share, but at the same time you can't stop talking about it. Thanks Clint!

Camping on Clint’s land was amazing, following his directions was easy and once we got to the parking area we were very excited. The walk to the site was very short and the waterfall and surrounding area was beautiful. The canoe was a nice touch as well. Clint was there to greet us just after we had unloaded all our stuff and gave us a quick rundown of the land and was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would absolutely recommend to stay at this beautiful campsite!
