Friendly and welcoming campground!
We had just picked up our new travel trailer and this was our first stop. Paula was very responsive when I was making the reservation. Once there, Jim helped us get our trailer set up and taken down. His hospitality and kindness will not be forgotten. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
The campsite was super convenient to town and at the same time far enough from the road to be private and quiet. There is a city park and main street cafes within walking distance. The sites are level and spread out nicely, not crowded. The portapotty was clean and well stocked.
This was a great overnight stop not far off of I-70. The photos don't really do it justice - it was a neat, clean campsite with easy access. It's a hilly area, so the sites vary in how level they are. We found a good, level one that was perfect for our 25' motorhome. Paula was super nice and helpful. Note that the campsite is actually within a small town, so not a remote location.
