Our space is humble in size but huge in heart - sanctuary for the human spirit - and when you're here, you're family. A picnic table and a fire-safe pit round out "your space" of Peace and quiet.

Overnight guests have daytime access to the sanctuary and all of the beautiful creatures that have come from throw-away-to-thrive in our care. Meet Teddy the Capuchin, Betsy the Sloth, and all of their friends and family.

One of the most incredible experiences I've had in my life. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I camped at the site for 6 days and made great friends with my pal Bart the pig. Betsy the sloth stole my heart, the otter crew were an extremely fun bunch and Isaac the camel was as handsome fella to greet you at the entrance.

Not only would i recommend going, I also recommend saying a night or two. Thank you to all the staff and to Cory for hosting one of my life's greatest weeks. ❤

My daughter and I had an amazing time....we camped on the days they were closed but the staff were super welcoming. Adel needs a shout out for sure as she was an amazing new friend and host...she spent time feeding some animals with Luna, giving us the low down on the place and how the residents became to call animal ed ventures there home...the many dogs there were a great addition to the experience and all vibed perfectly...Adel also gave us some good recommendations on places near by to grab pizza (Noah's) and coffee ...the place on main St. I went back for a refill after we left...bring your own cup skip the straw n plastic... Really chill spot. Thanks girls!

I am so glad we went here! This was such a cool experience for me and my 6 year old. He is obsessed with animals, and he loved the idea that he slept with animals around him.

Cory was super helpful and worked with us! The campsite had a good space and distance from the sanctuary. Like you still had your privacy but you're still part of the whole place.

My favorite part was during the evening, and the parrots were talking; they kept saying "hello!" At first i really thought there were people until i figured they were saying the same thing. That was super cute! When we came in the birds part the next morning, the parrots were responding to me!

They had great amount of animals, a lot of rare ones too. I've never seen a porcupine that close and that was awake! The kangaroos were so cute, you just get to share space with them.

It was such a great experience. Thank you so much Cory for letting us stay at your site. You also have an amazing, friendly staff!

Great opportunity to not only camp but support a fantastic group of people doing a great job supporting animals in need. Highly recommend visiting. Make sure you let Cory know when you’re going to arrive… they can be busy with guests to the park.

We’ve been coming to this amazing place to visit animals many times, love the atmosphere here! Recently we found out this camping site and decided to spend a night and a day here! It’s so worth it! The staff were so friendly and lent us a big wagon to carry our gear over to the site. We chose a spot right behind the birdhouse ( our favorite!) The campsite was pretty decent, it’s shaded and it had a fire ring, couple chairs and a big garden table, very convenient , it also had a big canopy there, great to use if there’s rain! We had dinner with the “camper kitty” and she greeted us outside of our tent in the morning! During the night you could hear all sorts noises, but that’s what we expected and came here for! We had a relaxing breakfast inside the park with one of the pigs and spent hours here to see all the animals again, especially the birds! Hope to come back here again! ( it’s summer! Hot humid and buggy, but the whole experience was great!)

Perfect environment for the kids to run around and take in all of the animals. Very peaceful once they close down to the public and throughout the night. Warm, friendly staff.

My familh and I had a great one night stay at the sanctuary. My kids enjoyed the reptile room, the lemurs, the biggest porcupine that we've ever seen, and all the other animals on the sanctuary. We received a warm welcome, even in the rain!
