We loved Thermopolis Stop. The name is perfect! Beautiful views. We went and took a soak at the Hot Springs. The laundry was a welcomed surprise. Peaceful. Easy access and hookup with our 20’ trailer.

This is a very convenient site for doing activities in Thermopolis! The hookups were easy. The site has everything you need. They are very tiny sites, however, so be advised. Our 14.4 ft trailer fit nicely as long as we parked our truck in another spot.

Cozy site with adjacent camping and AirBnB, but still private feeling. Next to a cow pasture and babbling brook that provided some nice country ambiance and white noise, best heard from the fire pit site. The washroom was a great amenity to have during the stay.

WOW! What a perfect spot to camp outside Thermopolis. There appears to be two full hook up sites, a tent site further down the hill from these two side by side spots and it appears there is a duplex, B n B at the very top. Another reviewer noted that space 1 was more level so I booked that one and was glad I did. Ryan also has an out building that sports a covered patio and washroom that has a toilet as well as a washer and dryer (no shower). The patio has a picnic table and was super handy to have. We lived this place. It had everything we could want plus great views and no over crowding! HIGHLY recommend.

Really loved the rural location, the views and the quiet. The lower site was easy to get into. I ended up only using electric because I had a full fresh water tank, and there was a watering hose attached to my spigot. I could have disconnected it but didn’t bother.

Great place to stay. Beautiful views. Quiet. Ryan checked in with us right when we got there. I'm sure he would have been available for questions if we had any, but we were pretty self sufficient. We traveled with a friend so we used both sites, but if there was a stranger next to us we might have felt a bit crowded. However, not much closer than some commercial RV parks. A bonus was being able to have our dog off leash. There was even enough space to toss a ball. As mentioned in some other reviews the weeds were a bit obnoxious, but we would stay again. There is a good gravel road to the west of Ryan's place, East River Road. It leads in to the back of Hot Springs State Park. Nice, pretty alternative drive instead of using the main road.

When we arrived the number 1 was missing from the site we were assigned to. We were confused as where we were suppose to go. There was a truck parked between our spot and the picnic table. It was a couple checking into one of the housing unit. They were unsure of where to park as well.
Patio was covered with bikes and toys. Restroom/laundry room was dirty.
Once we got settled a truck came in between 9-10pm. Later determined to be house keeping family.
The next day we left early am to fish and upon our return, everything was cleaned up and we ended up having a peaceful evening as we were the only ones at the property.
If someone was in the space beside us, it would have been very uncomfortable as you would be able to reach out and shake their hands.

Directions were clear, the site was clean & awesome for our kids who very much enjoyed all the toys under the shade the morning after the windstorm that welcomed us to Wyoming. There was really no level land, so we needed to level our trailer. While there were definitely weeds, it wasn’t an issue for us, but I could see why it would be for some later in the summer when it dries out more. It was very nice to have a flush toilet and place to do laundry halfway through our trip. And even better, I just happened to run into a childhood friend that I haven’t seen in 30 years! What a treat!

The location was easy to find. The RV site was clean and plenty big enough for our 34ft 5th wheel and pickup. The bathroom was clean. There was a fire pit and picnic table to use. This was a nice quiet stay for us while we were in Thermopolis.

Pros: good hookups (host instructed not to use sewer however) good laundry room, quiet, close to town, we were the only ones at the site (even the host was not there). Our site was level, covered with clean gravel and a nice picnic table and a clothes line to dry towels after visiting the hot springs
Cons : this site would have been VERY crowded if shared, narrow turnaround with steep drop offs, bathroom could be cleaner. We needed to pick up previous camper’s dog poop. We could not have leveled our trailer on the other site-we were unclear which was which.

Nice little spot to set up camp while fishing the Bighorn. Stayed two nights. Close to town and HotSprings SP. Beautiful fall mornings and cool evening temps. Awesome to have water and electric and laundry/bathroom was an added bonus! Space accommodated our 18’ A-Liner camper with plenty of room for our vehicle.

though the site was simple, and thick with bugs in the evening (as is the whole region), it was a great stay! easy to find and to set up in. robust wifi, clean bathroom and FREE laundry! very user friendly, lovely sunset/sunrise.

It was very convenient on our way to Yellowstone and as advertised, but the mosquitoes where horrible from sundown until the morning. I highly recommend the Owner to spray, fog or hang a zapper (or two) to control the little vampires. As soon as we pulled up around 8 pm, and exited the truck to setup the camper, we were swarmed and attacked. The next morning was much better though.

When we drove up we were shocked. Two posts in an uneven gravel driveway. The posts were maybe 10 feet apart or less. The property was unkept, weedy and very undesirable. There was an old picnic table and grill by a shed, again shabby. The house on site was obviously not occupied. We did not stay, we drove back into town and found another site. My only regret was I didn’t take a picture. That place should not be part of the Hipcamp group. We do NOT recommend anyone book this site. I’d like a refund but I’m sure that won’t happen. I suggest Hipcamp look closer at this site. That’s it.

Great base camp, as well as lovely to stay and relax. Pastoral beauty in the country, off small country highway with very little road noise (yay!). The two RV sites may appear close together but provided us with ample space to pull our 32-foot trailer through, and level enough for no scraping. Wash house is a bonus with sink, toilet, washer and dryer. Altogether a great site! Don't forget to bring bug repellent in general in the summer (all of WY, MT, etc).
