This is a 16 foot traditional style tipi, facing east, with two sleeping platforms and a Solo fire container. The National Park is 20 minutes away, the Town of Jackson is about 8 miles away, Teton Pass is just up the road. Right now the Elk are bugling in the field right across from us. Jackson Hole is a place that many people prize for its adventure, wildlife, scenery, and friendly tipi owners. Teton Painted Tipi
My friend and I loved camping here! About 20 mins from the city and super comfy cots with padding. Peter was so nice and welcoming too! Would stay here again!

Great Spot

Perfectly situated. Outside of Jackson, clean, comfortable with everything you need for a night or two.

Teton Painted Tipi
Tipi has a wonderful overlook over the valley with mountains in the distance. We were visited by a deer when playing cards on the table outside. The solo stove was perfect to have a warm fire once it got cold at night.

Loved our time at the tipi with our dog. So close to town but still amazing views and a unique stay. Very comfortable!!

Magical
Teton Painted Tipi
Absolutely magical. Stars were crazy. Super cozy. The solo stove inside the tipi is primo. The pupper and I were very comfortable.

We loved staying in the tipi. The views are amazing! The set up is also great. The hammock was a nice way to unwind during the day and then staying in the tipi with a fire at night was lovely. The set up with the cots and pad made set up and take down super easy. Would recommend!

Teton Painted Tipi
We really enjoyed our stay on Peter’s property. The tipi is comfortable and the design on the side is beautiful at night. The location is close to town has stunning views and is near to hiking and biking. Peter was a gracious and accommodating host who made us feel welcome. We would definitely recommend this Hipcamp experience to anyone seeking a unique Jackson Hole adventure.
