Little Goose Tree Fort
The host was gracious and told us well in advance the water wouldn't be on since he had to travel but we chose to keep the reservation. Only issue was our 5th wheel being tall did not fit under the tree so the electric hookup was quite far and we had to use a 100 ft cord which fortunately we had. I think the host might advise RVs that a long cord would be needed. Other than that the stay was fine and only 1 night.

Beautiful private spot right on a peaceful creek and surrounded by farm land. Easy access to the northern Bighorn mountains and Chad was so gracious and accommodating - he even took the time to look over some maps of the wilderness and show me some beautiful areas to hike and camp. Wonderful experience!

We had an amazing time at this camp spot. Nice creek, a shade tree, plenty of room for our dog to run. Would love to return in the future.

This time I got there early enough to walk around the neighborhood and saw a bunny rabbit sitting on someone's driveway, a pheasant, and a few mule deer. Beautiful area and a gorgeous sunset.

Absolutely perfect stopover for my trip from Montana to Colorado to visit my father. It was so Christmassy all decorated with lights! Chad was very helpful running me electricity for the night. I will always stay here as my halfway point to visit my dad! The creek was so adorable. My dog loved the tall grass to run around in. Plus very close to the interstate.

The camp was not at all what I expected from the description and photos. Didn’t realize we’d be camping in behind a car scrapyard.
Didn’t like the noise of traffic and sirens on police cars.
Might be good for others but I would not recommend.

Great camp spot right on the creek! My dogs loved playing in the water while relaxed and sat in the shade of a large tree right by the gravel parking spot. The grassy area to the side was long enough to play fetch with my dogs too. The site was level, quiet, and easy to find. It’s surrounded by fencing on most sides so it was easy to keep my dogs close by. There’s a water spigot near the site too. The host was very friendly but let us have our privacy after introductions. Nice neighborhood that’s spread out so you felt rural, even though it was easy driving distance into town.

Great place to weather a storm (literally). Chad’s place was clean, nice and convenient. We arrived in downpour conditions and threats of tornadoes. We felt safe and secure. Our pup loved running in the field behind the where we parked. Will definitely come again.

Hosts are very nice, but it's basically their side yard. Right next to the road so the headlights sweep your site.
Next door to a scrap yard where the workers rock the tunes.
The sound of the creek is very nice until dusk when someone comes by and turns on the pumphouse located 20 feet from camp.
You can explore about 100 yards of one bank of the creek, but it's covered in horse apples.
Might be okay if you are in an RV, but don't car camp here.
We didn't stay. Packed up and drove on.

Cozy camp site located on a creek. The sound of the creek was so peaceful. Chad was extremely helpful. Chad provided us with an extra hose for fresh water and fresh eggs! YUM! Site is close to Bighorn National Forest and other local sites as well.

This is a lovely spot right on the creek, and Chad the host was so accommodating. Unfortunately we were unable to stay as our huge rig (49ft 5th wheel, 66ft total with truck) was just too big to make the turn into the site. The site would have been perfect if we were just a little smaller, or had a different turning radius. Chad worked with us, and helped us find another place that could accommodate our XL size.

A private site nestled in a safe nook along the creek. Our dogs loved hanging with us and we loved the crescent 🌙 moon! Chad was welcoming and then left us to ourselves.

This was a great spot for our 34' travel trailer. The location was ideal for us because it was 10 minutes from Sheridan's Main Street and about 10 minutes from the awesome little town of Big Horn. There is great mtn. biking on the Red Grade Trails just 5 minutes past Big Horn. Chad was great and we look forward to returning.

We don't know when we have seen so much wildlife around our campsite. Chad & Karen went out of their way to help us see the pronghorns and even gave us eggs for breakfast. Quiet neighborhood and a private spot right next to the creek. We will be back!

We just stayed one night as we were travelling through. Chad met us with fresh eggs in hand for our breakfast! After a nice walk down the creek and up the neighbor road, we settled down to a quiet night. It was a wonderful break from the highway.

What a wonderful country setting. We booked this same day and Chad was great with responding and making us feel welcome after a long drive. The area is easy to find, has water, 50 amp, level for our 25’ and I believe for longer trailer as well. Loved parking next to the creek and felt safe here. Lots of deer and turkey roaming. Our dogs loved running around and stretching their legs. To top it off Chad gave us fresh farm eggs which were delicious. Definitely would enjoy a longer stay here and come back if we drive through again.
