Beautiful 60-acre working hobby farm nestled in the Bear Lodge Mountains with access to the Black Hills National Forest. This property is home to dogs, cats, chickens, and goats, with cattle in adjacent fields. Wildlife is also plentiful in this area; you can expect to see lots of eagles, whitetail deer, and turkeys; mountain lions, bobcats, and other wildlife are around but may not be observed as readily. Close enough to major tourism areas including: Devils Tower

This beautiful site allows the camper to have one of the best views of the Bear Lodge Mountains to watch the sunset, which is amazing. Take time to look at the old haying equipment used on this homestead or explore the surrounding area accessed by the walking trail shaded by natural forest. Jo's Spot is located on top of a hill to the west of the farm yard. A 4x4 vehicle is necessary to get to this spot, especially after heavy rainfall. Tent camping is also welcome at this site.

Tsavo's Landing

Tsavo's landing is located southwest of the farm yard, hidden behind the hill from the rest of the farm. Enjoy this quiet and peaceful space that is located in an open field with an area of natural forest. This is an easy walk-in site through an uncultivated field. You can choose to camp in the field or in the section that houses a natural forest. Outlanders can easily access this site with a 4x4 vehicle (recommended in bad weather).

You will make your way on foot from the farm yard through the cultivated field along the east barrier of the property; this would be considered an easy trail due to the mostly level surface with a slight incline as you move toward the ridge. You will find your campsite as you enter into the natural forest with several options available in this area. Explore and hike to the top of the ridge of the Bear Lodge Mountains for a moderately rated hiking experience.

If you are up for a little hike to get to the perfect place, this spot is for you. You will make your way from the farmhouse through the cultivated field and natural forests to the foot of the Bear Lodge Mountains; this would be considered an easy trail due to the mostly level surface with a slight incline as you move toward the ridge. There are numerous areas for prime camping spots, you choose! Want more of a challenge? For a moderately rated hike, spend the evening climbing to the top of the ridge to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Beautiful Secluded Spots

Absolutely beautiful, secluded area. The original spot we booked was going to be a challenge to get to with my camper due to heavy rains the past couple of days, but Karla was super helpful getting us all set up in another. She was an awesome host and the market is an added bonus - lattes and cinnamon rolls were fantastic. I highly recommend this area if you want a nice secluded area away from the crowds.
