What a great little place! The tiny house was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was very clean inside! Wonderful weekend

The “very quaint” outhouse left much to be desired. There was a light by the stool with a cord switch, however it was hard to find when it was dark. A Light switch inside the door would have been very helpful.
A grab handle at the top of the stairs on the wall would give you something to grab a hold of to transition from stairway to loft. Also a night light would be helpful to have some illumination in case you needed to go downstairs during the night. We left light on downstairs.
But we still had a nice time. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch and eating breakfast out there and the kitchen tools were adequate. We chose not to use the campfire because of the terrible mosquitoes but you can’t control them.

My partner and I had the most wonderful time staying on Carla Jo’s property. Her hospitality was so warm and truly made our stay. The pictures don’t even do the tiny home justice - it is so beautifully constructed, cozy, clean, and perfectly set up to meet your every need. We loved cooking over the fire and strolling the gorgeous property to visit with the animals. The tiny home’s location is also perfect for exploring Bayfield and the surrounding natural beauty that Up North has to offer. Carla Jo also gave us some great recommendations of beautiful spots to check out. If we’re ever back in Bayfield, we will be back at Carla Jo’s place in a heartbeat! To our hosts: thank you so much for everything! We hope to see you again someday!

Misleading information about some important accommodations . Yes it is an outhouse, however, when we arrived, she showed us the outhouse and the smell was unbearable and smelled like death. Couldn't even enter. She even made a comment that she should have done something about it. The shower, is a garden hose with a small 15-20 gal tank above the outhouse, with small dirt ground next to it. Come to find out, best time to shower is between "1 and 6 PM." However, she uses it during that time as well. No shower at 6, 8 "typical" shower time, am if you wanted, with warm water. We have an outhouse at our place and an outdoor shower. Not new to "outdoors".
The house itself was great! Very clean. Very small but clean. Doable to sleep. There was not a picnic table available for the tiny house. The fire pit was tucked inside the woods, with huge crabapple branch hanging directly over it. Yes could have had a fire, safely, no. They were kind people. The misleading information should be updated. We left the next morning immediately. Losing out on over $100.

The tiny house was so idyllic and cozy. We loved talking to Carla about the land and meeting all the animals. It’s a beautiful place to stay and very comfortable!

Carla & Sam are just so fantastic. The TH was clean and welcoming, had everything you need and nothing you don't, and we're so welcoming with orientation. They clearly love their land and space, and gave us extra hand holding in finding a beaver pond on the property! I'd love to stay here again

Very private cozy tiny home in the woods. We were fortunate to catch some snow at the end of the season and ski the trails on the property. It was our first time in the area and Carla Jo was very helpful with recommendations for things to see and do.

Totally loved staying in Carla’s Tiny House. Her property was so beautiful with so many lovely trails. She gave us a lovely tour, introduced us to her animals, and gave us many great recommendations for the area. The home was beautiful, just what we needed. We could rest and relax in confidence. We will definitely be back :)

Carla Jo's Tiny House was a sweet retreat for us two. Beautifully crafted, private setting with wide trails back to the farm house and into the woods. Carla Jo was welcoming and attentive to our requests.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Tiny House. Location is unbeatable, 15 min from Bayfield. Carla had wonderful suggestions and everyone (and every animal!) we met during our stay was wonderful, informative, and kind. The cabin had far more amenities than I expected! An air conditioner, great lighting, electricity, plenty of outlets, you name it. And the outhouse was very clean. Truly could not recommend this place enough and will be coming back!
