Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

Heartsong Hideaway is a rustic little clearing nestled within our 40-acre homestead. If you’re looking for a simple (i.e., primitive), private, easygoing site to set up camp, this is it! You’ll have access to our private trails for walking, running, or biking at your leisure. Centrally located among the neighboring communities, you’re never far from something to explore! Washburn, Bayfield, Ashland, and Cornucopia are all less than 30 minutes away. We’re also less than a 5-minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Lake Superior, with several fishing access points within a couple of miles and plenty of forest roads for enjoying the scenic fall colors.A quaint clearing in the woods nestled next to a seasonal creek and private trails.

Rig suitability

Vehicles under 13 feet allowed

Anything larger than a car will need to back-in. There is NO turnaround.

Bring your own water. Potable water is available via a hand pump at the campground a half mile down the road. The Sioux River runs through the campground as well, if you want to purify your water that way.
