Was as described for the most part. The tiny bird house is very very tiny. I wouldn't recommend for anyone over 5'7"

I absolutely loved the A-Frame. Great location and a wonderful set up. I highly recommend adding a sauna session to your visit as well. This is such a peaceful retreat!

An amazing place for a fun little getaway! We had such a great weekend on this beautiful property, playing with the kitty’s and bunny’s that roam around. Michelle was a great host and has put a lot of thought into making sure you’d have everything you’d need! We hope to visit again!

Tiny Perch 🏡

Michelle was the greatest host ever! Super friendly , super welcoming 🤗 The tiny house village is truly one of a kind! She thought of every single detail when building them - we stayed at the Tiny Perch - the cutest little cabin with everything in it one might need to feel comfortable- from a full kitchen with appliances to a bathroom with a tiny shower, a super comfy bed. And even bins for pets with towels and 💩 bags in case you needed some extra She really thought of everything!!! And the labeling- what an amazing idea!!! It’s like this all comes with instructions 😍 I can’t recommend them enough - will definitely be back and not once! For sure!!! The forest and the river are the cherry on top!

We stayed at the My Tiny Perch for 2 nights. Before reading my review, I wanted to give a heads up that I was aware that it will be a composting toilet. However, I do have a sensitive nose, and although there’s a door for the toilet the smell still seeped through. I’ve used plenty of the cedar shavings but there’s still some smell. I do think that pictures of the bathroom could’ve helped prepare for the stay or could’ve helped my decision about staying here. The other thing that made my stay uncomfortable were the down feather blankets. It made my allergies flare up, but I did like that I was able to use the grill easily. Here are the pros and cons of staying at the Tiny Perch Pros: -place was cozy -nice little porch area for barbecuing -had cooking all the usual/basic cooking stuff you’ll need -has hot water -natural lighting -cute bunnies hanging around the area -assigned parking spots Cons - composting toilet was too smelly for me even with the cedar shavings provided - bathroom didn’t have a window for ventilation - tub was dirty - there were ants in the kitchen

Excellent Vacation Spot!

Excellent location not too far from town, but just far enough to feel secluded. Very clean, and there was an answer to any question I could have had. Bonus, BUNNIES!

Michelle was fast with responses and a great communicator. Felt private even though other people were staying on the property. Nice isolated area so tragic noise isn’t bad. The tiny bird home is great for a solo traveler.

Had a great stay over the 4th of July weekend with my two dogs. The creek was a welcome break during the heatwave and my dogs enjoyed watching the bunnies on the property. The A-frame had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable! We can’t wait to come back!

The A-frame was a perfect combination of minimalism and comfort. It was equipped with all the kitchen stuff you could need, two comfy beds, towels, and there's a cute little campers store on site to purchase more food if you pull in too tired and out of snacks. Very safe space. The creek by the A-frame was beautiful and soothing. The firepit and all the nature surrounding it made it a fantastic getaway. We want to go back. There's an outdoor shower and toilet that's super easy to operate and loved how earth friendly the whole setup was. Michelle and crew are amazing hosts.

Best weekend away!

This was just what I needed for a quiet weekend away to relax! What a special place. It's clear Michelle has thought of all of the details to make this a wonderful place to be - I would definitely go back and recommend this place! I stayed in the A-frame and it was so fun and unique.

Adorable Structure

Had a great few days here. The A-Frame cabin is a work of classic and modern architecture art. I found it reprogramming me about how many things I truly need in life. It is such an efficient use of space. Cookware is all provided as is dish-washing system. Being by the creek was super soothing. Lots of rules to follow, which did make it hard to truly relax at times, but I think we did good in the end. Very safe, and tucked away. Nice shared facilities and easy to use composting toilet system. The wild bunnies do get to poop where they want so do step lightly, but otherwise a curious entertainment. Kept my dog transfixed. Also very grateful to have wifi out there.

Tiny House Village was absolutely adorable! Michelle was a gracious host and the grounds were beautiful. We especially liked the "free range bunnies" who made a warren in the tree down by the creek. Perfect relaxation!

The cabin was just as pictured, although keep in mind it is a tiny home, so the foot space is extremely limited. We had the property to ourselves for the majority of our stay. It was great to soak up some sunshine in the mornings, romp in the creek in the afternoon a bit, and have a campfire each evening! Very enjoyable experience!

Hostess with the Mostest

Cabin was super cute, well-stocked, clean, and I loved being able to open a wall to the peaceful creek! Fair warning the beds are a bit narrow but I just pushed them together and was very comfy. Michelle is an amazing hostess - my car broke down while I was there and she helped me immensely. Would definitely stay with her again!

Weekend escape

Such a perfect weekend getaway. The space was cozy, the host was super communicative and accommodating, and the land was beautiful. We really enjoyed out weekend hete. I am excited to visit again in the summer!

An Adventure, An Oasis

This is my second stay at this beautiful tiny home village. The attention to detail is evident throughout. The bed is so comfy, the decor is cheery and bright, the windows are at the perfect height, the cross breeze is dreamy. Highly recommended stay for nature lovers. The birds were serenading the forest. Pretty nice way to wake up.

We really enjoyed our stay at the perch!! Beautiful little home, had everything we needed plus more. Very cozy and the whole “tiny village” was adorable, we loved playing cornhole! Michelle was also very kind, helpful, and responsive. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away for some quiet relaxation. Very close to a wildlife refuge where we got to see some beautiful birds and wildlife.

Stay Here for Fear..

Unfortunately my stay wasn’t as great as expected. My Mom and I rented the tiny bird house for four nights to visit my little brother and his girlfriend. The place was amazing and had just enough things to do for a great stay. However, the host was on or around our site about everyday of our stay. No privacy. The second day I invited my brother and his girlfriend to come see the cute place! With the many rules she had sent me either by text, email, or Airbnb web, I forgot about the part of the agreement that said to let her know who the visiting guests will be for parking purposes. Totally my bad!! I checked the guests stay handbook to double check earlier that morning and it said nothing about it so I assumed it was okay. (They rode in my car so it also shouldn’t have been a huge deal I feel) Also I checked for smoking rules and the book said no smoking inside but you may smoke outside if you have a can of water to put them in. So my family and I were sitting on the porch having a great time, laughing and enjoying the beautiful creative camp site. The host camp out of nowhere straight up in our site. The area we paid to rent. And with no warning of coming by, she started telling us that there weren’t supposed to be guests unless pre-approved (which was fair) and that there was no smoking. And my mom confused asked “you mean anywhere?” To which she responded condescendingly “well it’s a forest...”. My mom told her how the book said we could smoke outside if we had a can and she apologized for not updating that. Basically, by the end of the conversation she had made us feel guilty and embarrassed. And on top of it, she violated our privacy. I felt so bad we moved our social to my brothers house immediately. With that said I feel as though people should know that this camp site is less private then a hotel. I felt very upset that I was even given a reason to feel this way I n a place I had never been. My mom and I would return to camp late to run inside so the host didn’t have an opportunity to approach us again. I don’t think this screams hospitality. I would not stay here nor recommend this stay. Solely because the host seems to be unprofessional.

Amazing homes, host, and area!

My tiny bird house was actually closed for the season, so I ended up staying in “My Tiny Perch”. It far exceeded my expectations! The directions were super accurate which I appreciated since I arrived later in the evening (after dark). Once inside it was super cozy and warm, and expertly decorated! Rustic and secluded but also had such a warm cozy feeling. The Perch was extremely clean; kitchenette, floors, bathroom, linens etc, all clean and well cared for. The welcome book was filled with great detailed instructions on how to work everything in the Perch, and gave some great suggestions for local attractions. You also want to read the whole book the first night... trust me on this.... you will be happy if you do. Michelle is a super amazing and welcoming host! She made sure to be available all the time, but definitely gave me my room to do my thing. Checked in on me when I got there, and then I got to meet and chat with her the morning I was leaving, and I’m so glad I did! She showed me the other tiny homes in her village and man... they are ALL AMAZING! All so different but I would stay in every single one! I will absolutely be back next time I am up this way! (I also super appreciate that she is so welcoming of pets. It’s hard to find great places when traveling with pets sometimes, and she is above and beyond!)

The tiny house is very ship shape and well-appointed. Be aware that sleeping spaces are tiny too, with the upper bunk just long enough for a short adult.

Tranquil HIde-A-Way

Serene setting with gracious hosts. Spectacular experience that soothed the soul. You will create a beautiful memory if you choose to stay here. Clean, tidy and amenities galore for the outdoor enthusiast. Quite close to Portland, this is the perfect place to rejuvenate.
