I'm 74. My daughter and I enjoyed 2 nights, she in her van and me in mine. It's rare to find a quiet,secure campsite with incredible views so close and convenient. I opted to refrain from taking the short trail down to the river because it's not ideal for a man my age but kids would love it. I would recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys camping with a tent or a van--not a trailer or larger RV.

Beautiful spot with everything you need! We had a great time fishing on the river and hiking to serene lake which is right up the road from the camp! So convenient! We hope to be back!

This place is pure magic! The site itself is beautifully designed and laid out. Multiple flat parking areas.Two porta potties are clean and smell fresh. Lots of seating and an unbelievable view! There’s a fairly easy public trail close by to access a stunning large swimming hole and beach and then a more challenging private pathway down to a more shallow, smaller swimming hole that was perfect for my dog and I imagine would be great for younger children. Overall, we absolutely loved this campsite. Can’t wait to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family camping experience! This is one of the best campspot I've ever been. We are very grateful for the opportunity to stay at such a beautiful property. A spotty phone signal, allowed us to disconnect from social media and fully appreciate the serenity and peacefulness of the location. The stunning view was certainly an added bonus. The hosts were incredibly helpful and ensured we had everything we needed.

The view from camp is awe inspiring! As a tent camper, the late July weather was just right for comfortable nights but days warm enough for swimming.
The Skykomish River is crisp & clear, you can easily see the river bed. If you don’t mind cold water, snorkeling is great!
The view is like watching a picture frame. Not to mention at night, sitting by the fire, as it dies down you see a gorgeous night sky. This little slice of earth deserves to live on a postcard 🤩

Lots of options for where to place tents, great bathroom setup, and an unbeatable view. It is clear they put a lot of thought into how the site is used—they have a log splitter, a grill over the fire pit, two picnic tables, and a little shelf and mirrors in the bathroom area.

This was such a great campsite! I agree with other reviews that the sounds and views of the river/waterfall could not be beat, the bathrooms actually smelled good, and the propane grill was a great plus (though we didn’t actually get to grill anything). We ended up walking from the site to the trailhead for bridalveil falls trailhead, which didn’t add too much mileage and we didn’t have to worry about the parking. There is also a private trail to the water from the campsite along with a public trail for the rest of the community. My only regret is that the rest of my crew I was traveling with did not get to experience this site before they had to head home.

Where to start the rave review on this amazing site.. First, getting to the property was made super easy by extremely detailed instructions which made the initial trip in flawless. Second, upon getting to the site you're met with a breathtaking view of a beautiful waterfall and a very spacious area. We had 10 people staying at the site with 5-6 tents and there was PLENTY of room for everyone and then some. We had 3 vehicles on property as well which even then still had room! There were TWO fire pits, both with grates on top to roast things over the fire AND a propane grill! Add in the two picnic tables and a few chairs made for an even easier time to set up camp.
Third, let's talk bathrooms, this site had TWO bathrooms that have clearly been built by hand and decorated with the cutest camp decor! They also SMELLED GREAT, which being out in the wilderness is an impressive feat to say the least.
Needless to say this site was amazing, the hosts incredible, and I will be telling everyone I know to come check it out! Thank you Ben for the incredible experience and the care you took in perfecting this space!

The view from this campsite is so unreal! I loved the view from the fire and the multiple places to look out. This campsite is in a community and close to other houses which other reviews already say but this is such a pretty spot!

This spot is more of a communal campground than one site. There are at least 4 places to set up a tent (including a dedicated tent platform) depending on the number of cars and how you park. There are 2 fire pits, a propane grill and lots of seating options. I camped solo but I'm anxious to come back with a few friends to share the generous space.
Of course the standout feature is the waterfall. While you aren't at the water's edge, the elevated site is a great vantage point for the mountains and wilderness. The host has made great use of the location by building out little pathways to cozy seating areas in the hillside. And although there is an adjacent neighbor, the entire site felt very private.
Another great feature is the location. There are so many nearby hikes of all levels. And having civilization nearby is a great backup plan in case you forgot something or want to explore the local towns.
It's clear Benoit has worked hard to make this a unique space that adds some comforts to primitive camping. I highly recommend it and will be back soon.

We loved car camping on Benoit’s land, the view of the waterfall is breathtaking. The directions to find the campsite were very clear. We specifically love this campsite because it’s not too far away from civilization but you also still feel secluded. You even occasionally hear the train go by which is cool. There’s a trail that leads to the bottom of the waterfall area and that was definitely the highlight of the weekend. The bathroom area is a really nice feature as well . We can’t wait to come back in the summer.

This is a great spot to get away for the weekend. The site is quite spacious (& could easily accommodate 2-3 tents) and felt pretty private. It is in a private community, but we rarely heard or saw other people while in camp. The trains passing by were surprisingly loud but relatively infrequent and didn’t detract from our experience. The solar lights throughout camp, deck to set the tent on, picnic tables, propane grill, and Adirondack chairs were all great touches. Over our stay (9/6-9/8) only one port potty was on site, not two like others had mentioned, that did not appear to have been serviced in quite some time based on the service record/condition which was a bummer but really the only ‘negative’ of our stay. There is access down to the river from the road near the site, which I wish would have been better communicated prior to arrival as we didn’t discover that access until the last day. The on property trail (that the owner mentioned in previous review responses is their project/under construction) didn’t feel quite doable with our dogs. We did still enjoy the river view from site & spent a day on the river via the Big Eddy Public Access about 15 minutes drive from camp. Overall, this is a beautiful place to stay & we are looking forward to coming back in the future with a small group.

We absolutely loved Waterfall Camp. The hosts are friendly and accommodating, and the site itself is beautiful and private, with lots of small touches (well-placed and CLEAN double outhouse facilities, solar lights around the site to light the pathways at night, hammock hooks already installed and ready to use, plus two picnic tables that came in very handy, to name a few). But the magic of Waterfall Camp is found in the surrounding forest and the river and waterfall below, where you can explore the vast beach and take a swim or soak up the rays - something for everyone. We loved hearing and seeing the trains pass through, which wasn’t too loud at all. We’ll be back as soon as our schedule permits!

I loved camping here! It was easy to find. Felt private without being isolated with the exception of one vehicle parking on the road by the camp site to use a near by path to the river. The views and easy access to hikes were exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed the hammock spots and the solar lights around the property. Plenty of seating and eating spots.

Incredible location with stunning views. River noise was good to fall asleep to at night. 2 CLEAN portapotties on site. Minimal cell coverage (1 bar T-Mobile LTE), which we didn’t consider to be a bad thing. There’s trail access down to the river, leading to many great swimming and relaxing options. We brought trekking poles with us and would recommend using them through this trail. Solar lights and log splitter were great to have on site. No need to pack kindling. We had plenty of space to position and maneuver our teardrop trailer.

Very nice spot, with a great view! Yes, there are a few properties nearby, but the skykomish river is top notch. If you want to get down to for river access, you can take a road nearby and have a fun adventure getting down there. Sleeping was nice. Trains are nearby but they don't toot their horns. Some bugs, so bring your spray. Bridal veil falls is nearby, which is a great hike for the morning. We'd come back here for sure.

It was just 2 of us but there is plenty of room for multiple families to utilize the spot.

The experience was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only critique is the missed opportunity for the trail down to the river. We would have been down there more if it was easier to get to. But the space and views were amazing! Would definitely book again in the future.

Absolutely gorgeous view. So very stunning. And the owners really made it into a nice little campsite. The listing does say it’s in a private community but does not state just how close it is to other people. The campsite itself shares a half wall with a tiny home. We left our first night because it felt like we were camping in someone’s backyard; we kept hearing lots of tool noises and like people were walking up to our campsite and made us too paranoid to stay the night. There wasn’t a single picture of the campsite with the neighbors, only the gorgeous view.

Gorgeous spot! Very well maintained and the views were amazing.
Host was very responsive and helpful.
Will definitely be back to hit up one of the many, many trails in the area.
