You'll have full hookups for your RV in a low-traffic neighborhood just a mile from the beach and Damon Park in Ocean Shores. There is a grassy area behind the house where additional guests can pitch a tent or relax in the sun in a quiet, private setting. The site also features a fire pit and a picnic table with an umbrella. The nearest beach includes an off-leash area for dogs, and it is legal to drive vehicles on the beach here. However, I don't recommend using the Taurus Beach Entrance for driving on the beach because of the soft sand. You can drive on the beach, hard packed sand by entering at Ocean Lake Way or Chance ala Mer (go West at the round about). Stay on hard sand to avoid needing to be towed out. It's happened to me more than once!. Ocean Shores offers a variety of attractions, including miniature golf, go-karts, arcades, ice cream shops, restaurants, and bars with beer gardens. Lots of wildlife, and check out the mushrooms on the Weather wax Trail, another great place to walk with your dogs on the leash. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the right spot to stay.Site has one set of full hookups including water and electric power. There is plenty of room for an additional vehicle to park. You can use the firepit, unless there's a fire ban which is common after the 4th of July. The 4th is a huge event here and you might want to make a reservation in advance if you like fireworks. For people with dogs, you can walk to the off leash dog beach on the Taurus entry off of Ocean Shores Blvd. Or walk around the Bell Canal neighborhood where there's little traffic and safe for bicycle riding with children. There is a Picnic table with an umbrella and enough space behind the house for a tent or 2. Ocean Shores has 2 amusement parks within Arcades, go carts and mini-golf, bumper boats and ice cream parlors. The North Beach peninsula is built around a golf course and a lake. The beach is also used by surfers in wet suits. Come on over and explore the beach and wonderful hiking trails in Ocean Shores!

We enjoyed camping on Karen’s land. Very convenient to everything in the area and close to the beach. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Would stay there again!

Super easy back in access to water, electric, sewer hook ups. We used a couple of leveling blocks for our 21 foot mini Winnie. For the most part was pretty level. Since there is only 1 camping spot it feels private. The neighborhood was SO quiet. We had the best nights sleep. Only 1 mile walk to the beach. We will definitely go back. And stay longer the next time. Thank you Karen for sharing your camp space with us.

Great times

25 ft travel trailer

This is our first experience with Hipcamp and it was great. The campsite was very quiet, only a few miles from town and easy to set up in. We were able to book this site on the 4th of July weekend, for Americas 250th, with only a couple weeks notice when getting a State Park reservation requires quick action, a year in advance. Our host Karen was very nice.

Karen was wonderfully accomadating, the property was nice and level for tent camping, and you could hear the ocean! Quite serene!
