Absolutely loved our stay at The Garden! We stayed on site 2, right next to the river, and could not have been happier. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the north cascades!

I would like to edit my previous review. The host's name is Don and he was super accommodating. I inadvertently called him the wrong name on the first review and couldn't fix it. My recommendation still stands. This is one of the best sites I stayed at in my month long Washington trip. Don't wait to book it!

Site 2 at the Garden at Marblemount was amazing. It had everything I needed: ample space to pitch my tent, fire pit, table, camping toilet with privacy tent, shower with privacy tent, and just steps from the river. Plus, it was easy to access from the highway and there were so many hikes an hour or less drive away. Hanging out by the river after hiking was the perfect end to so many perfect Washington summer days. Don was a great host who met me on arrival and quickly responded when I had questions. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Do not wait to book this site!

Beautiful spot by the river with wonderful gardens, fire pit, fresh water and berry bushes all around. Had a blast with the kids.

Site 2 - The Garden at Marblemount
We were 3 families that took each of the three sites. Our site was the one closest to the river. Overall, we had a great time and Don was very responsive and had great communication. There was lots of space for the kids to run and explore, the portable camp toilets were great, the solar shower was useful (especially since it was a very hot weekend), the proximity to Lake Diablo was amazing.
Some things we were unprepared for: 1) no consistent shade. I would suggest that folks bring their own canopy and/or sun tents or else you'll need to move your set up all around camp to 'chase' the shade all day long. It was a very sunny and hot weekend and being in full sun was unbearable. 2) proximity to the road and road noise. We didn't realize how close this property was to the main road. Be prepared for road noise since it's right along the 20.

Great campsite on the shore of a good-sized lake. Huge grassy lawn area with easy access for any size RV and tents can be set up on the grass. There is a new dock and a small beach where you could launch kayaks, SUP or like the owner windsurf the lake with big gear. There are no trees in the camping area so if it is hot you will want to bring some shade or just cool down in the shallow water. We had a long fun conversation with Robert about windsurfing and his large property. Lots of privacy and great views of the lake and mountains.

This space was secluded, scenic, and convenient. We spent two nights here amidst three days of North Cascades beauty and it was perfect for us. My favorite was waking up to the sound of the river and the birds. We would absolutely come back.

Fantastic and ideal site for us during our hiking adventure around the North Cascades NP. Site number 1 is very private and right next to the river. We slept with our doors open to hear the sounds of the Skagit River all night. :) Don was super friendly and responsive via text, and his property allowed easy access to many trails around the park. We already miss our two-night stay there, and hope to be back.

Wonderfully friendly host. Could have enjoyed our stay more and stayed longer, but there was smoke across the Northern Cascades from a neighboring Canadian fire, which obscured much of the wonderful forest riverfront view.
There was a tent at each site with a fine camp toilet for tent campers or anyone without a restroom onboard.
Got to see an eagle grab a Steelhead from the river and take it back to his tree for dinner. Meanwhile, we ate leftovers in our Cabana van.

We absolutely loved camping at Don’s Garden At Marblemount. The campsite's views were beautiful, and wildlife was abundant. Don is a fantastic host! I definitely will return if we ever make another trip to Marblemount!

We arrived late and stayed for one night. Don was nice enough to show us everything we needed. Nice spot to set up camp, surrounded by trees and calming sounds of the river. Bathroom was an extra bonus. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Don’s property is beautiful and he is an excellent host! We had the place to ourselves for the night and it was peaceful and quiet. His flock of chickens will happily greet you and hang out for a bit before they go in for the night! Wouldn’t recommend bringing anything larger than a 20 foot van or so down as the drive is pretty narrow! He even supplies an outdoor bathroom tent, although we didn’t need it!

We only stayed one night but wish it was more. Our site was right on the
Skagit river. We could hear it sooth us to sleep and then got up and
caught five fish!

We camped at site 2. There aren’t trees completing blocking access to the river like in the photo. There’s a large area that’s completely clear, allowing easy access. Really calm, lazy river (at least in early Oct).
Don greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. He’s awesome. Loved the property.

We loved our stay at The Garden! Our spot (#2) had a wonderful view of the Skagit River. The property is located about 30 min from Diablo Lake, so it was the perfect place to stay after a day of kayaking. Don was very responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to go back!

We loved our stay at the Garden. The campsite was clean and had everything we needed. There was a little path down to the river which we enjoyed and we loved getting to meet the chickens! Don was a friendly host and met us when we arrived. Our favorite Hipcamp experience so far!
