Nestled in a serene location, the RV campsite offers an idyllic escape, combining privacy with breathtaking views. Surrounded by lush trees, the site provides a sense of seclusion, allowing you to unwind in nature. As you step outside your RV, you’re greeted by a stunning water view as well as a view of the Canadian shoreline, creating a picturesque scene. Watching the ships pass by or wildlife roam the field has become a favorite pastime. Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee and enjoying the beautiful sunrise or an evening campfire, with a tranquil sunset, the beauty of the landscape invites relaxation and rejuvenation. This private oasis is perfect for those looking to reconnect with nature while enjoying the comforts of home. The campsite also works well as a base camp while you explore the area. Close proximity to lakes, beaches and Hurricane Ridge.The campsite includes RV parking pad, a gravel area with pergola ,table & chairs, a fire pit, a grass area for play. Corn hole & and ladder toss are available upon request. Power and water connections are included. There is no waste connection. Firewood or propane fire pit are available. $8 a bundle for firewood with some kindling and paper and $10 per night for propane fire pit.

The loviest place with an awesome host! Beautiful little space with a view. The host was very accommodating and was responsive to messages. We had a great time. Even met the resident kitty cat. Hope to be back!

This is a lovely spot with a host that goes above and beyond. We had two sitting areas and a firepit to use. The cushions and pillows were such a nice touch and the tables were clean and ready to enjoy. She greeted us with a very generous gift bag and an offer to use their adapter to go from 50 to 40 amps. The water view is beautiful. We would happily recommend to friends.

We had a wonderful visit at the Back Porch! The host was very friendly and super accommodating. The space was perfect and very well set up. It had a wonderful view of the Straits and felt very welcoming. We would definitely come back! The location is a great launching place to Hurricane Ridge and all the amazing places in Port Angeles!

A lovely spot super close to ONP. Kate was an absolutely fantastic host and you can tell she really cares about the space and the guests who use it. So many thoughtful touches that were noticed and appreciated. Plus the site offers water, trash, recycling, and 50amp power!

The Back Porch
The Back Porch RV Campsite is such a gem! The views are amazing, it’s super spacious, and best of all — no crowded campsites. If you like having room to breathe (and no neighbors right on top of you), this is the spot. The house is nearby, but honestly, we had total privacy and were left to just enjoy the space. The firepit setup was awesome, and the cute little gift bag was such a sweet surprise. Kate was absolutely delightful — so kind and welcoming! Plus, they even had a 30 amp adapter ready, which was super handy. 10/10 recommend!

The Back Porch
Kate's place was fantastic! The property is on a hill with a stunning view of the Salish Sea looking across to Vancouver Island. Kate provides a fire pit, and a lovely gazebo both equipped with comfortable outdoor chairs w/cushions and pillows. There is also a picnic table with umbrella. The whole site is clean, neat and so charming. While the house is close to the site, we did not feel crowded. There is much more room here than at any campground we've been to and Kate was the perfect hostess. She greeted us on arrival (with a gift bag!!!), checked on us once to make sure we had all we needed and was immediately available when we had a question, otherwise she left us alone. Kate's place is secluded, yet close enough to Pt Angeles and the Olympic Nat'l Park for easy access. We highly recommend the Back Porch and will stay again next time we come to Port Angeles.

The Back Porch
The Back Porch is an amazing spot! Wonderful views, close to some of our favorite hiking spots, and plenty of room for our dogs to walk around. Our host was very gracious as well! We forgot a few things, and our host was kind enough to let us borrow some of their camping supplies! We even received a gift bag! I would absolutely return to this spot!
