Absolutely loved our stay on Nelda’s land. It was perfect for what we needed, we needed a place to park our van for a few days with a power hookup. Nelda’s property has beautiful trails in the back that we enjoyed walking our dog on. Definitely recommend!

I travel for a living and this has to be my number one spot. It’s a safe location and the views are breathtaking. Nelda is absolutely amazing host and I would recommend this to anyone. I had a grill to cook on, power for the cold nights and plenty of room to roam and hike. 10/10!!

This was a GREAT site. The site was level, easy to maneuver, and zero road noise. There is a little trail to walk on, and plenty of space to just relax and take it easy. There was also a gazebo with chairs and a table to enjoy. There was a tent camper there , but you are so separated that we honestly forgot they were even there. I would love to gatekeep this location, but it really is a wonderful site to take your camper or tent. We will for sure book again. :)

I had such a great stay here. The setting in Washington is gorgeous and super peaceful. There’s even a hiking trail that winds through the wooded parts of the property, which was a perfect way to start and end the day.
The host, Nelda, was awesome, really friendly, and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Honestly, when I think of what Hipcamp is supposed to be, this place is it. It just has that vibe. I’d definitely come back.

Really adorable little place. Nelda was wonderful and very kind. We will probably stay again when we get the chance. There are do trails on the property, and close by to some other ones as well.

I loved camping on Nelda’s land! She was very welcoming and accommodating. It was such a peaceful spot, I loved being around all of the trees. I was also offered extra food she made and it was delicious! The bathroom was also very nice. I would recommend this spot!!

this was a quick trip and we got in late, the host was really accommodating and generous about our late arrival! i would stay here again especially if you need to break up the seattle to portland drive

Staying on Nelda's land was some great much needed reflection time. I was able to camp at the top of the big hill the first night. If you're looking for more sun and a bit higher ground, this is a great option. I then camped down the hill the second night -- which is extremely private and surrounded by forest. It's a really great spot for reflection, solitude and privacy. Nelda is a gracious and communicative host, who will make your stay feel both safe and valued. Thank you again Nelda and hope to stay again soon!

Great little area to hang a hammock and sit in the forest. The stars shine at night. Nelda was responsive and kind. Great little spot!

We stayed 1 night. Just set up our tent next to our car to keep things simple. It’s a very peaceful place, quiet at night. The washroom was nice. Nelda was very welcoming. We enjoyed going to restaurants and antique shops in Centralia.

We enjoyed camping on Nelda’s land. She was super responsive and kind. The walk in spot at the bottom of the hill looked really nice but we got in late and didn’t feel like carrying everything down so we camped right by where our car was parked. This was still quiet and relaxing, and we had a great time!

A peaceful area to hang out and watch wild life (eagles, bunnies and does with fawns!). Electric hookup was a special bonus for our camper van. Would love to own something just like it.

We had a great time tent camping on Nelda's land! We were the only campers there. The site was as advertised. Easy access from the road. Also convenient from Chehalis and Centralia. We really appreciated the flush toilet and hang-out gazebo with a prep table for cooking. Thanks!

I felt safe as a solo female traveler at Nelda's. She was a super friendly host. I didn't take advantage of any of the amenities she offered, but was nice to have the options. Directions were accurate, though I always hope for a little sign that indicates a hipcamp spot just so I know I'm in the right place.

Amazing stay! Nelda is awesome! We booked for one night to Tent, and it was raining pretty heavy so Nelda offered us her cabin on site for no extra charge so we didn’t have to be stuck in a tent in the rain. She went above and beyond and it was a beautiful area/pleasant stay. Definitely will be back if we are in the area again!

My wife and I stayed in a tent at Under The Trees , on our way up to Olympic National Park. The pros , the site was very quiet and secluded and Nelda was very quick to respond when I called to inquire where the restroom was. The cons , the tent site was in a nice spot under the trees but was sloped a little to much. There was a nice spot for an RV that was level with 30 amp service. I would stay there in a RV but for me personally in a tent probably not.

So perfect and peaceful! We booked Nelda’s tenting spot at the last minute, and she was so communicative and welcoming. The spot under the trees was so serene, the bathroom was clean and convenient, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. We’ll be back for sure!

I really appreciate that Nelda’s place was available last-minute! I had been to two state parks in the area and both were closed. I was afraid I’d have to cut my trip short. But I booked and got settled in less than an hour! I camp in my van, but it’s not a camper van, so it was a treat to have access to a warm bathroom with hot water and sink for washing up! Just 10 minutes from I-5, and fell asleep listening to the frogs.
