Great location
13 ft pop-up camper · With kids · We had a great stay and really enjoyed our time. The location was perfect for our visit to Ape Cave, about a 30-minute drive away, and there’s also a lake nearby that we didn’t get to explore but looks like a great bonus for future guests.
The host was very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. He seems fairly new to hosting, and the property is still developing, but it already has a lot of potential to become a great camping spot.
We stayed at the site at the end of the trail, which was spacious and worked well for our pop-up camper. The main challenge was the access—backing into a narrow, uneven dirt path with tight trees and brush on both sides was stressful and time-consuming. Widening the path slightly would make a big difference for future guests.
We also noticed several tall dead trees that could be a safety concern and affect the overall appearance of the property. The ground at the site was a bit uneven, and a picnic table at each site would be a great addition for convenience.
Overall, we had a very good stay and appreciate the host’s hospitality. We see a lot of potential here and would definitely consider coming back in the future to see how the property continues to improve.
