The parking area was perfectly level for my van and clearly marked, making arrival smooth and stress-free. Quiet, serene, and surrounded by the gift of trees—this place felt like a sacred pause.
The music of the ocean lulled me morning and night… truly magical. I took the walk around the peninsula and it was such a soul-nourishing treat. And the deck—oh, the deck. My morning coffee and evening reflections will never be the same. It’s a space where time slows down, and gratitude rises up.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful retreat into nature.

Kinsey’s lot is beautiful. Quiet and serine. Great for a couple however since it’s on a cliff I wouldn’t recommend kids. We have zero complaints.

A very scenic spot! Sunset and sunrise were spectacular. We slept out on the lower platform which felt like a private waterside retreat. The main deck area was nice for barefoot lounging too.

This spot has been on my list for a while now and knew I had to make it out for at least 1 night this season. So glad I did! Originally planned to pitch a tent but last minute decided to car camp. Love that both are an option here. The set-up and views were amazing but the one thing I’ll never forget is that sunrise!

Perfect for our 20 ft Sprinter. The views can't be beat. We saw that this bluff is right across from Taylor Shellfish on CHUCKANUT Drive. Bring your binoculars.

Another fabulous stay at Samish Bluff. This time we stayed two nights and like several reviewers, settled into quiet and picturesque "island" life. We watched several low tides creep out and back in, heard our first loon, and watched a researcher gathering shellfish to test. This is a place for you if you're content with walking, eating, views, napping, and sitting by the fire pit. Rocky beach available at low tide.

Absolutely spectacular view. Great place to park your small RV or pitch a tent. Sweeping views and three decks to hang on. Fantastic food options in adorable Bow-Edison (10 min drive). Quiet, clean….all the things. Thank you Kinsey!

Awesome spot - beautiful views, and the little patio/shade shelter just make it really easy to hang out comfortably. We saw herons, seals, otters, and exploring the beach was fantastic. We had a van, a six year old kid, and two dogs, and everything worked perfectly for us.

Such a special stay. Went above and beyond to make this a great experience. Beach access and honey bucket was 50ft or so much closer than expected, was really cool exploring at different tide levels. The bluff is a gem - it was raining for us in the morning but I can only imagine the sunrise from this spot (we will just have to come back I guess...) Sunset was incredible too. Had such a nice time sitting out there at night - the dog loved it as well. Would recommend you book.

Samish Island Bluff
The Samish Bluff is truly an incredible campsite with an epic view of the Samish Bay. My wife and I were blown away with the lovely and thoughtful deck space and enjoyed having beach access so close. We saw many seals, herons, cranes, a bald eagle, tons and tons of other birds, crabs, anemones, a jelly fish, and deer. 10/10 would recommend!

This spot was so nice! The views were beautiful and the layout was perfect. We even watched harbor porpoises swim around for hours. Definitely recommend!!

This campsite was perfect. The bluff views and access to the beach were great. It rained some so the covered picnic area was helpful. We set up our tent on the platform halfway down the bluff and it was serene and private.
Hosts were quick to answer questions.

Wonderful spot on the bluff overlooking the water. Yes there are homes directly across from it but the road is private and it was so quiet! The views are so beautiful even on a rainy drizzly day. Loved the deck and covered area, fire pit and chairs - so relaxing. A small
Public beach is within walking distance (and only a small handful of people present). This is a lovely Hipcamp spot.

This is our favorite Hipcamp! Perfect place to spend the weekend. The views are beautiful. Great walks. Our setup/ teardown is fast and simple because of the covered deck, comfy chairs, and firepit provided by Kinsey. The nearby town of Edison is a must see. Great place eat and buy locally-made pottery. Three trips and counting to this special slice of PNW heaven.

Beautiful views from the site and the separate and more private deck down the stairs is a cool option for sitting and relaxing as well! There are houses directly behind you but you'll be looking at the views the whole time anyway so it doesn't matter. Our camper van fit perfectly, backed in. Be sure to get whatever supplies you need before you drive onto the island as there's no store there.

Samish Island Bluff was the perfect location for our 20 ft. van. We chose beautiful, if cool, weather and headed 90 min north from home. Kinsey has created a beautiful bluff site with layers of deck, a picnic table, two sets of chairs, and a fire pit. The north tip of Samish Island is also an inviting place to walk. We love the Skagit Delta and welcomed the chance to stay overnight. As some have noted, Kinsey's property is a work in progress. It didn't distract from our visit. Already planning to return!

I loved van camping on this property and it looks like there's enough room to pitch a tent as well. We were fortunate that it was very quiet with several spots to take in the incredible sound view and read a book or sketch! There's a public park steps away with a trail to rocky beach with lots to explore at low tide. Bow Edison is just a 15 minute drive to delicious restaurants, pubs and shops.

Perfect spot for a base camp while birding. The view is stunning and you love the deck and gazebo. Took the dog down to the beach. The camp site is in a quiet neighborhood, but I was fine with that. Looks like the one property people are mentioning is being renovated or fixed up. Great location.

Great spot with a beautiful view. It is essentially on a shared driveway in front of homes, so there isn't a ton of privacy (if your rig has a lot of windows), but you are on the bluff overlooking the beautiful ocean. And the island is so cute. Make sure you stop in Edison on the way to get a loaf of bread! Seriously the cutest town. Highly recommend!

This spot is easy to get to, and has a nice view if you’re facing out to the water. Behind is a not so picturesque property that is very close which detracts from the overall experience. The host is very nice and responsive however.
