This was our first attempt at a larger camping trip with 14 people and this site fit us all fairly comfortably! We had 4 medium/large tents set up and a pop up trailer. Not to mention 5 medium/large vehicles and we still had plenty of room to run around. The private access to the river was great for our fishing friends, the kids, and dog. There is an abundance of trees to provide excellent natural shade. The food prep/cooking area was incredibly handy. It included plenty of counter/table space, a water dispenser, and mini fridge. And our host, Cindy, was friendly, helpful, and patient with our shenanigans. We do plan to return for future camping trips!

Great spot right on the river! As other reviews have mentioned, Cindy goes above and beyond to make her space comfortable and convenient. She has put in a lot of work, and it shows. Firewood on site is a huge bonus. Cindy's house is somewhat close to the site, but our group didn't find that it took anything away from our experience.

Cindy was such a wonderful host — welcoming, thoughtful, and quick to respond. The campsite along the Skagit River was peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. Falling asleep to the sound of the river and waking up to the fresh air was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to recharge in nature!

I've been wanting to stay here for so long,and finally got to. Cindy's camp site is so beautiful,spacious,and accommodating,as well as my fave,the river being right there. The vibrant green river rocks are phenomenal! With that said,this is not much of a swimming river,but still beautiful and fun to play around in,especially at the white sand beach,only a 5 minute walk away.
We didn't love being in eye sight of the owners,but privacy was totally respected,and Cindy is super nice. The gazebo with power and fridge/freezer were awesome. The cleanest portal potty with stocked toiletries and wash sink with running water are certainly glamping bonuses. Overall,a wonderful stay. Thank you Cindy!

Great spot with tons of amenities- basic power, outhouse, mini fridge, gazebo with tons of seating. It was a great way to get outside for a bit without massive set up. Dogs loved the private river access too. Cindy was super communicative, and even had WiFi so we could work a bit!

Cindyland was perfect! The views amazing. The host totally gracious. We had five large tents and there was plenty of space to navigate. Our two dogs had plenty of space to roam, but also contained from getting to the road made it super easy. Oh and the instant hot water made getting morning coffee a snap! My friends were all asking when we are rebooking!!

We had such a lovely stay at Cindy's campsite. The site was beautiful and super clean! The porta potty was one of the cleanest I've seen and having running water outside to wash our hands was so nice. You can tell she's put a lot of effort into this space and making sure campers have everything they need. Cindy was super responsive if we needed anything, but gave us plenty of privacy and the river and scenery were beautiful. Love that it was so spacious that you could have a larger group out there and not feel crowded. We will definitely be back!

My Husband and I drive 6 hours to come to this spot and the trip was worth the drive, the amazing views and relaxing atmosphere made this vacation so wonderful, my husband and I also brought our two German shepherds with us to join us on our trip, Cindy was so accommodating with our dogs, especially with our boy who doesn’t socialize well with other dogs, she always made sure our pups felt safe and secure at her spot. They loved all the open space and the river right off of the camping site to go swimming . This spot is completely fenced off and we felt so comfortable letting our dogs roam around, Cindy was always available whenever we needed anything and being able to Venmo her for more fire wood made it very convenient for us when we needed more. Just the overall set up between having the mini fridge to have all of our food kept fresh and the 5 Gallon water to have for our dogs and our pour over coffee was just an icing on the cake. This spot has a beach that’s only a couple minutes walk away , we went several times and we had the whole beach to ourselves and went fishing and swimming it was a perfect spot for our dogs to hangout .

Cindy did an amazing thoughtful job with the set up, from the gazebo to running water sink and so much more! The portable restroom was really clean, we had so much space for 4 tents and 3 vehicles and room to play! Very private area, which is a must for people with dogs/pets and a great view of the river. Would definitely come back here again!

The site was spacious, had an absolutely amazing view, good privacy and comfortable 'glamping' amenities. Cindy was a very friendly and thoughtful host and she has created a wonderful camping area. We enjoyed the multiple fire pits, river front access and of course the gazebo which we referred to as 'the kitchen'. The gazebo not only provided shelter but is equipped with plenty of counter space to set up a stove, food prep, plates, utensils, etc. The mini fridge came in super handy and meant that we didn't need to bring ice. The water cooler has both a hot and cold tap and she also has a power strip for us to charge phones and our speaker.
Cindy told us of a nice sandy beach area just down the river that was great for swimming, lounging and fishing. We were a family of three with a dog and we all had lots of space to relax. FYI, the site has a few great areas to set up a hammock...I highly recommend bringing one. We loved our stay and plan to return again.

Loved Cindy’s camp site. Very spacious and private. It is one of the best campsites that I have ever been to. Cindy was amazing host. She made sure we have everything we need. The water and restroom was clean and clear. Breathtaking views.

Great property and friendly host! Lots of room to spread out and some beautiful river views. The private beach was a bonus and the amenities like toilet and gazebo area were really nice to have. Cindy was an attentive host who left us to do our own thing but was there if we needed her. Will definitely be coming back, thanks for sharing your property Cindy!

My family had an amazing trip at Cindyland! The campsite was beautiful, clean, and obviously well cared for with thoughtful details at every turn. The honey bucket was very clean and stocked with appropriate products. The grounds had been freshly raked and smoothed before we arrived. The huge in-ground fire pit was perfect for nightly bonfires, and being able to pay Cindy for firewood was so convenient! The view and quiet access to the river beaches were way better than dealing with the larch march madness. We spent hours searching for rocks, fishing, and splashing in the water. The icing on the cake was having a table and chairs under the gazebo, and the cherry on top was having a mini fridge and access to hot water. Cindy's place made traveling with three kids and two dogs so doable; we all loved it and can't wait to go back. She and her brother even loaned us some pliers when our tent pole snapped and helped set up my son's new fishing pole. This was our favorite camping trip together since we moved to Washington three years ago. Thank you so much!

Cindy thought of everything! There is a new and spotless, porta potty and it even has automatic lights that come on if you use it in the middle of the night! There are multiple places to have a fire…… One is in a very deep and big dirt pit. This pit is deep enough to protect the fire from the breeze. There is another pit that is Mobile. There is a bench that you can move around if you want, And lots of cut logs that provide tables if you need them. There are currently three chairs and a table on the gorgeous gazebo. In the gazebo, you will find a 5 gallon water tank that has hot and cold options, A refrigerator/freezer, A place to attach your extension cord. A rake. There are some children’s sand toys and two small perhaps children’s sized cornhole games. Next to the bathroom is a sink with potable water and also a light that comes on automatically at night and soap! Cindy Has also gone that extra mile To provide some Women’s products in the restroom and she was kind give me some dog food since I forgot mine! She makes herself available, but she does not bother you when you were settled in. Please that occasionally, if the wind and the weather are very quiet, you may hear some noise from across the river that is the N. Cascades Highway. This Highway is probably half a mile away and I think most people will not notice the sound. We took our toy camper and after about three different tries, we figured out to just back it right up next to the gazebo.

We really enjoyed our time at Cindy’s hipcamp. The site was super clean when we arrived, leaves were raked, sand had been smoothed, the porta potty cleaned, very thoughtfully arranged overall. She welcomed us, gave us some tips on getting set up, including a nearby beach spot, gave us our wood bundle and made herself available to us all weekend. The spot itself accommodated 2 larger cars and a large tent by the river. The slope to the river is quite steep but it was very clear before we booked it and it wasn’t a big deal. The river was very peaceful and easy to walk on the beach. We had 2 firepits available as well as a grill we borrowed from Cindy. The gazebo and potable water were a really nice touch. The only downside we encountered was not even Cindy’s fault, but if you have nervous or reactive dogs make sure to keep them leashed as there was a small pack of 4-5 dogs running up and down the river a few times. They didn’t cause any trouble and did not come into the site thanks to the small hill but one of our dogs was not super happy about it. We had a great time staying here and will definitely be back!

Fantastic views, lots of space for tents and rtt vehicles. Potable water, porta-potty, and hand sink really makes camping easy and enjoyable! Gazebo with lights and electricity is a plus with laptop users and people needing to charge other electronics. Highly recommend for campers wanting to just relax and take in some fresh air. $40 gave me a whole bunch of good quality wood to burn as well.

We — a group of 7 friends — recently had the pleasure of camping at Cindy's place over the Labor Day long weekend, and it was the perfect spot for our first-ever camping trip! The campsite offers the ideal blend of outdoor adventure with all the comforts that make for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how thoughtfully everything was set up—string lights in the gazebo, a mini fridge that made us feel right at home while still enjoying nature. The clean porta-potty and outdoor sink were well-maintained and added to the comfort of our stay.
The riverside view was stunning, and having a white sand beach nearby added to the charm. One of the highlights was definitely the fire pit; we had a blast cooking chicken, roasting marshmallows, and sharing stories under the stars. Cindy was a fantastic host, always ensuring we had everything we needed.
If you're looking for a peaceful, well-equipped campsite with beautiful surroundings, this is the spot. We couldn't have asked for a better way to spend the Labor Day weekend, and we can't wait to come back for another round of relaxation and outdoor fun! Highly recommend.

Tent camped for a day, would’ve loved to stay longer, even with a cloudy day skagit river was beautifully blue and the camp site had everything we needed with the luxury of a sink with running water, fridge and a portopotty that was very clean. It ended with a beautiful sun break and the sound of skagit river as a lullaby! We will definitely be back!
