Really nice spot! There is noise from the road, but there’s also good mountain and sunset views and great accommodations. Would recommend!

Was moved to camp 3, which is better.
Clean portapotty, large grassy camp-able area. Didn't need a sleeping pad, it was pretty soft. Would recommend.

The site is cute, clean, and well kept. The hosts were great. But if you are looking for peace and quiet ... that would be tricky as the whole site is right by a road that people FLY down. Site 1 is further from the road and site 2 is kind of tucked behind some trees, but you still hear that road. I personally want to hear nothing but the creatures of the wild when camping.

This site was perfect for stopping over for a night on a mountain biking trip. There was a bit of road noise as Phil discloses, but it was pretty quiet once it got dark. Bathroom was very clean and he has built some sturdy tables for each site that were perfect for cooking.

Phil’s property was so beautiful and each site had ample space. He was very kind an accommodating. We stayed there the night before our biking packing trip on the Olympic Adventure Trail. Would definitely stay there again!

The place was beautiful. There were a lot of mosquitoes, but that could have been the case anywhere around there, I am guessing?

Awesome quiet little spot. Love the manicured lawn spaces and facilities available. Only downside was the tight squeeze for bigger rigs on the cute little grassy track back to the sites. We were visiting for mountain biking and the location was super convenient.

Really enjoyed it, though hard to find. Follow the entrance despite "Private Property" sign then on the right is the Campsite sign:))
It was well maintained and lots of space between campsites for privacy.

We really enjoyed this campsite! It was better than I expected from the pictures, with wildflowers, shade trees and sunny areas, and nice views. You could see the other campsites but they felt nicely spaced out and separated into our own areas. Nice big firepit, chairs and table provided. Clean toilet. There's a hose provided for cleaning dishes, wasn't the easiest but it worked. We got used to the road sounds. The land is well taken care of and Phil was responsive to questions. We enjoyed relaxing here and would stay here again. Thanks for hosting us!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! Phil was kind and helpful with local information. Yes, site #5 is next to the road but the listing clearly articulated that so it wasn’t a surprise. We would stay again in the future.

Phil was very communicative and accommodating.
The campsite and “blue box” were clean.
Site 1 is furthest from the road (112) and road traffic noise was minimal.
I used this site as a jumping off point for the Olympic Adventure Trail which is less than 1.5 miles down the road.

Great campsite for seeing the north side of Olympic national park! The location was close to multiple entry points and not too far from cape flattery if you have an extra afternoon while staying. The site was easy to find and felt very private.

Good and flat tent spots with a nice view of the mountains. The potable water was easily accessible and the tree cover at site 1 was great to have. Has a picnic table and chairs too!

My partner and I drove to this campsite from Portland and were taking the ferry in Port Angeles to Victoria the next morning. Phil was very nice over the phone and keeps the sites very nice (: We weren't there very long but we would definitely stay again. As you are near a road, you do hear the traffic but it's not too much and you can wear earplugs at night if you need.

We stayed at Camp 3 last night and I highly recommend this place! The setting is a really pretty field flanked by apple trees, pines cottonwood and rolling, forested hills.
There is a barn on the hill that houses a horse and a goat and you can hear roosters doodling in the morning. My husband and I had the place to ourselves, it was raining pretty hard but we set our tent up under the big pine in camp 3 and stayed relatively dry under it's canopy. Ranger camp would likely be considered "rustic" by some folks but there is an outhouse, water source and garbage cans (we packed out our garbage) on site. The only downside to this beautiful place is that it is very noisy due to the road being so close. I would definitely stay here again but I will remember my earplugs! It was a peaceful, pleasant stay.

Site 3 - Ranger Creek Campground
Phil's campsite was great! The property was easy to find, and Site #3 was perfect for our family of 4. Even though there was a fire ban during our visit, we enjoyed sitting around the "campfire" each night. The table, chairs and provided trash can were all wonderful surprises. Our kids loved playing hide and seek, and even climbing the big tree in site #3.
As others have stated, these sites are right next to the highway and there is limited privacy as all the campsites are connected and only separated by tall grass (with the exception of site #4 which is the first site you pass when you enter). Also of note, this is farmland, so be prepared to hear animals. We enjoyed this, but others may not (think: cawing roosters and bleeting goats). Overall, we would stay here again and would recommend. It's very convenient to ONP (which was the purpose of our trip) and also to Port Angeles if you need to get into a city (*highly* recommend Blackbird Coffee Shop in town).

Wonderful spot just outside of Port Angeles. We stayed in the overflow spot which was close to the road so a bit noisy. But it was a spot to rest our heads. Nice privy and access to water.

We stayed in site 2. It was a nice place to camp. Very spacious site with a table and plenty of room to pitch a tent. Everything was kept very clean. You can hear the road but it still was peaceful. The host was very nice to talk to but also gave us privacy.

This was a great spot and we loved spending the night here. Phil came out to meet us and shared some cool places to visit and see the water & sunset. It had trash cans, water and a bathroom all available along with a couple horseshoe pits. It is important to note that the spots are all in a fairly open field with not much in the way of privacy, and the road noise was definitely noticeable well into the evening and night. All in all it was a really good spot and we had a great time
