Great host, cool location. However the ground on - site is REALLY bad. The site is on a slope that is pretty impossible to level out and the ground is covered in bulldozed blackberry vines and twigs. There's even some random pieces of metal and screws sticking up out of the ground in some places. It's not really a good spot for someone with a dog.
I'm very grateful for the last minute booking but the site really needs a ton of work.

Off-Grid Oasis
We enjoyed 6 days here camping in a 25’ travel trailer. Property is gorgeous although dusty, but we expected that. Felt relatively isolated. Loved the clear view of stars during the last nights of summer.

I highly recommend this location, it was very easy to navigate coming and going. It was dusty but she mentioned that, and what’s camping without a little dirt/dust. I even walked on the trails and saw a few visitors. Quiet, and nature at its finest. Loved being off grid for the evening/day! Thanks again for the late stay approval, I’ll definitely be back! The twinkle lights were such a vibe that were hung around in the bushes/trees!

Off-Grid Oasis
We had the best time camping here with our pups! The solar lights were such a sweet touch. It was a bit dusty but it’s part of camping! We were able to find a level spot for our 22 foot camper. The trees and ample berries were so cozy and smelled amazing. We had a few deer visitors while we walked the trails around the site. We had a gorgeous weekend and would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay, it was exactly as described! We felt like we were miles away from civilization just from the sheer beauty of the spot. It was exactly what we needed after our travels. We were towing our 26ft TT with our F450. The property was well maintained with enough space to get in and out with no issues.

Off-Grid Oasis
Overall, we had a good experience, however, some elements of the site description and host communication didn't meet our expectations.
We ended up arriving later than expected. There was no indication that late arrival wouldn't work. Totally understand hosta might not want guests arriving in the dark, but it would have been nice to have known that up front.
Site was very dusty but private and had plenty of space. It wasn't as close to beach access as we initially thought.
In messages, the host made several offers for us to meet the horses "tomorrow," but there was no follow through. We would have loved the chance to see the rescue, and I attempted to have the host specify an exact time. Unfortunately, they never follow through with a time. This left us uncertain on how to plan our days and ultimately without a visit to the horses. We understand a visit was not a feature of the booking, but since the offer was made multiple times, it was disappointing to not have the follow through.
