Lovely site with beautiful view in central Sequim. Discovery trail crossing in just a few blocks away and access to Olympic NP Hurricane Ridge And Lake Crescent are all less than an hour away. Lavender was still on their plants. Unfortunately the rain prevented us from using the covered area much.

Beautiful lavender beds and view of Olympic Mountains right outside the van door. Sweet spot, near Dungeness spit, and Olympic Discovery Bike Trail. Must be self-contained, no bathroom facilities.

Rain Shadow Lavender Farm
Kathy has a beautiful lavender farm. You camp next to rows of lavender and look beyond to the Olympics. I needed a place to decompress and enjoy the sunny environment with morning coffee, looking at the Olympics. Rain Shadow Farm was just what I needed. Plus, if you like to bike, like I do, just one block away is access to the Olympic Discovery Trail. This is a beautifully maintained bike trail taking you to Port Angeles and beyond. Tons of fun. You can’t miss, with a stay at Rain Shadow.

Location was very peaceful. Kathy's spot was surrounded by beautiful lavender fields in the day and stars at night. Conveniently very close to the Olympic Discovery Trail.

Delightful host, beautiful views, and great little RV spot just a short drive from downtown Sequim with easy access to the Olympics. Couldn’t have asked for a better last-minute pick heading into a holiday weekend!

The spot is peacefull with fabulous views!! My RV starter quit on arrival right on his driveway access and Rex simply encouraged me to continue my vacation plans with my “toad” vehicle and offered tools/repair options for getting it fixed at my convenience. I’d come back in a heart beat…! Thanks Rex!

Simply beautiful. Wish we had had more time to enjoy our stay here. We got in late from Hurricane Ridge and we're out early the next morning for whale watching. The smell, the sights and the privacy were great. Our dinner fell off the grill and Domino's happily delivered to us! Thank you Rex for accommodating our late check-in!

This is a perfect spot to stop in a trip around Olympic park. Hosts were super welcoming and was a big part of what made this a great stay. Everything was great. Toilet clean. And great view. Waking up to lavender scent is a bonus. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful campsite to have in the middle of a lavender farm! The site has easy access to both a very clean porta potty and a spigot for water. The owner was very communicative and flexible when our travel caused us to arrive late and leave early. I wish we had had more time to explore and smell the lavender. The property is located on a pretty busy road so I recommend earplugs if you are tent camping. It was super convenient to reach from Port Angeles as well.

Wow!! We had such a fantastic time staying at the RainShadow Lavender Farm.
We were unfortunately delayed and missed being able to visit their farm store. Definitely will be making a return trip for that!
Rex was very communicative and their directions were clear. When we arrived, we were able to walk around the pristine grounds and admire their beautiful Lavender Circle. Everything was stunning.
The area where we camped was perfect. The pergola, the view of the Olympic mountains, being surrounded by lavender, and the lighting was amazing.
We had access to a very clean porta potty and a fresh water spigot.
Waking up with the lavender and the incredible views was a highlight of our trip. We hope to be able to return and stay again!

I could not recommend this place more! Rain Shadow was so beautiful and Rex was so incredibly nice!!! The lavender farm smelled amazing, views were gorgeous and the gift shop was open so we grabbed some home made ice cream to beat the heat. Very respectful people. Definitely coming back.

What a beautiful place! You get the wonderful smells of lavender all thru the night while sleeping dreamily in the lavender fields. And so pretty to wake up seeing the Olympic mountain range in the early dawn. Rex and his wife even opened their little farm store to show off some of their products. I was excited to be able to purchase a few things. The camp spot is very private. We loved our stay!

We loved tent camping on Rex and Kathy’s land! The lavender smelled so lovely and they were welcoming and kind! We loved the pergola with the lights and waking up to the amazing views of the Olympics. Hoping to come back soon!

What a beautiful camp!!! Views were amazing. We had tons of space, and loved having the area all to ourselves. The hosts and their pups were also amazing humans and we loved getting to interact with them. Being around so much lavender was truly a magical experience.

Great spot & very beautiful! I came in late so we didn’t get to meet our host that night which means I probably wasn’t as up to date on the amenities. But Luna our dog loved the area and it was fun to walk the lavender fields in the AM.
