Welcome to our home on the Olympic Peninsula. We have 6 acres on a quiet/private road. We are 10 mins from downtown Quilcene which has a couple restaurants, fuel, basic groceries, national parks office, a couple art galleries and a marina. National forest access is incredible from Quilcene, the folks at the National parks office can help you find an amazing day trip through our wonderful backyard! We are about 15 mins from Tri-area (Chimacum/Port Hadlock/Irondale) which has a grocery store, hardware store, fuel, coffee stands and a few great restaurants. Nearby is great outdoor activities like Fort Flagler, Tamanowas Rock, FinnRiver Cidery and gardens, Valley View Forest, Gibbs Lake and Anderson Lake. We are about 30 minutes from Port Townsend, a beautiful little city with tons of charm. There you will find an incredible waterfront and views of beautiful buildings and top shelf restaurants. There are outdoor spaces abound with Fort Townsend, Fort Warden, Chetzemoka Park, North beach (glass beach) and a couple golf courses too. Historic buildings include the courthouse and post office, the Rose theater and a well preserved downtown strip with really cool funky shops. You will also find access to the Washington State ferry to cross over to Whidbey Island, which is a great day trip too on bike and foot. We are located 45 miles from the world renowned Olympic National Park. Some must sees are Crescent Lake, Sol Duc Falls and hot springs, Elwha river and the HOH Rainforest. All the best info can be found at the visitor center in Port Angeles. We are located 17 miles From Brinnon WA. Along the way you will pass MT Walker where you can either hike or drive to see stunning views. Brinnon has great outdoor activities like Rocky Brook Falls and the Dosewallips River, The Duckabush river and a huge herd of the largest elk on earth, literally massive beast that often hang out at Dosewallips state park. The Geoduck Restaurant (pronounced Gooey-Duck) is always loved by passers by and locals too. Hood Canal adventures is an Outfitter in Brinnon that can arrange guided hikes, mushroom Forays and Kayak trips too. LGBTQ+ friendly.
