In no way is this paradise or a resort! I’m not someone who like to leave a negative review, but this place was so disgusting we didn’t stay!
Followed the directions as per the listing. Could not reach the contact since zero cell coverage. Not obvious which site was which. Looked like a squatters camp with a lot of rundown tents and some boarded up houses. Pretty much soured my opinion of Hipcamp tbh

Not adequate for trailer with slide outs. The electric box is far from the water. The water was turned off because the valve wouldn’t shut off at the street and we had no idea until a kind neighbor told us. The camp host, Zack, didn’t not respond to us throughout our stay - before and after. His mailbox was full so you couldn’t even leave a message. The only plus is it is 20 mins to park entrance.

Zack was very responsive when we reached out due to the water not being turned on when we arrived. He was willing to send someone out to turn it on but we were able to do it ourselves when he let us know where the water main valve was.
The power pedestal is about 70ft from the sewer access. We had enough power cord and plumbing to make it work but we had to park our door right in front of the portopotty to make it work. One suggestion for Zak would be to have a 30amp extension cord on sight for use if the power pedestal cannot be moved to a natural location.
We were able to pull into the spot with our 30ft travel trailer, but anything larger would be much more difficult to do. We did a 3 point turn in the dead end and turned into the farther entrance. There’s about 40ft (from driveway to driveway) of space to make the turn, but the gate is narrow with rocks and a ditch.
The location is fantastic for getting into Rainer National Park and is isolated from traffic. Cell service is spotty for Verizon and non-existent for AT&T. It is somewhat awkward being in a neighborhood but the neighbors were friendly. The area is great for walking the dogs and it’s just a short drive to the national forest where you can spend some time on the river.

This site would be great for smaller campers or tents. We have a 32 foot motorhome and did not fit well at all in this site. The electric pole is about 50 feet from the water hook up. The pictures on the listing were deceiving. When we arrived the lot was over grown and we were not able to pull onto the lot without scraping our rig on tree branches at both entrances. There was knee high weeds and grass covering the entire lot. The portal potty was filled to the toilet seat as well. The listing stated full hook ups. However the water was not working, and the electric went out a few hours after plugging in. The host did send someone out to cut the grass the day after we arrived. We were able to pull onto the lot after they cute the trees and grass. However we were only able to use their site for 1 night without hook ups and was refunded less than half of our 3 night stay. There is not cell phone data or service at this location. If we were tent camping it would jabe been a perfect spot if the grass was cut.

This is an empty lot in a small neighborhood. Has electric but we couldn’t reach it. Playground isn’t a park down the street. Neighbor wasn’t too happy with our dogs. We weren’t there long enough for it to matter much. Mostly a place to sleep, which it was fine for.

We enjoyed our stay, the site is close to Mt. Rainier as well as other great hiking spots. This site is not very secluded so if that’s what you’re looking for this may not be it. Despite being in a more populated area you can’t beat the convenience of being near the national park & stores for that last minute item you forgot. Over all it was very comfortable & we enjoyed listening to the birds and having deer come through our site. It’s a beautiful spot & we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again. Zak was a great host.

Quiet neighbourhood, clean site, perfectly close to Nisqually entrance to Mt. Rainier Nat. Park (just few miles). Host (Zak) was prompt and helpful. We didn't use the water, septic, or honey bucket, but the electricity was oddly placed on the lot. Be sure you bring a 30+ foot electrical cord!

When we first arrived, we were shocked that there was absolutely no resemblance to the property that we rented, almost none of the pictures reflected what we were seeing. The property we were looking at appeared to be just a pull off of a deadend road in a very sketchy unsafe area. There was not gate as was claimed, none of the amenities as described, just a very run down looking "camping" spot.
Even though we hadn't made any other reservations anywhere else, we decided that there was no way that we even going spend one night here. This was nothing like was described in the advertisement. We ended just eating the cost of that one night and left to find other locations to camp, which after much searching we were able to find that. A word to the wise, you really need to check this place out in person before booking your stay here.

Mountain quiet with beautiful views. Loved being able to walk the dog on the quiet road behind the property. Trash can on property was ideal for cleaning up before we hit the road. Great stay!

We loved camping here in our RV! It was a quiet retreat. We woke up to four deer out our front window walking through the property! We loved seeing all the stars in the dark of the night. Great streets to walk our dog while still feeling like we were in the middle of nature. I can’t wait to come back with friends! We will be back for sure.

Zak was extremely responsive in a last min booking situation and very helpful for us. We were surrounded by a family of deer, peaceful setting and great stop for our family between days at Rainier.

Not as described. Your pets cannot be unleashed with residential houses and 2 roads. Also there were 2 street lights that lite up the road
