Staying at Karl's was such a pleasure. He is so easy to work with and really cares about his guests. We were here during an epic windstorm on the second night and he came out at 1am to see if we needed any help securing our camper.
Beautiful views of the Olympics. Great area to walk the dogs. Easy access to all we wanted to do.
Quiet neighborhood. Loved being on the farm with space and privacy. Will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Camped out for a week and felt the location was just close enough to town, trails, etc while still feeling like you had space to breathe. The site felt relatively private with gorgeous views of the Olympic mountains. Karl was a very accommodating, great host and we even got to enjoy some of the apples/pears from the fruit trees on the property. If we’re back in the area again, we will definitely stay here again!

Great host. Lovely spot with full hookups and high speed internet. Peaceful location with views of lavender farm and gardens. The large group of quail running around the campsite was quite entertaining. Blackberries were ripe and plentiful for the picking, too. We would definitely return.

We stayed 2 nights at Karl's place and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The lavender farm next door was in full bloom and smelled wonderful. Karl's property is a short bike ride to the Olympic Discovery Trail where we rode for miles along the lovely scenery on paved trails. Our first time using Hipcamp and we enjoyed the peace and quiet compared to some campgrounds we've stayed at. Thanks, Karl!

Great spot. Quiet, calm place. Courteous and respectful host. Grounds were very well maintained. Perfect for our 28 foot travel trailer. Flat site with minimal leveling. Property is adjacent to a lovely lavender farm.

We had a great stay at the Old Oly farm! The property was easy to find and Karl was great to communicate with. The property is beautiful and the neighbors wonderful. Make sure to check out the Lavender Farm next door. The smell of the lavender in the morning was heavenly! We were able to ride our bikes from Karl’s and get on the Olympic Discovery trail easily. FYI if you have kids the ride to the trail is on a busy highway. Camping there felt very safe and secluded with amazing views of the Olympics at sunset and we had a little family of quail that came to visit frequently. We plan on coming back again!

The campground was serene and peaceful. Great setup for your trailer/rv. Karl was very attentive throughout our stay. Beautiful views of the Olympics mountains. Perfect spot to enjoy your visit in the Sequim/Port Angeles area.

We had a great time at Old Oly Hops Farm. We used it as a base to explore Olympic National Park and it worked out great. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and watching all the baby quail. The lavender farm next door was a nice added touch. Karl was a great host and the full hookups worked out well. . We’d definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

We had an excellent 3 night stay at Karl’s place. 110% recommend it. The setting has amazing sunsets over the lavender farm next door. Easy hookups. Free wifi. Super quiet. The farm next door offers free tours and has a full lavender shop.
Outside the camper door is a nicely mowed large field with disc golf and a great place to run the dog.
Take Karl’s advice and approach from the west. If you approach from the east the turn is a little tight (go up and turn around at the lavender farm maybe)
Karl was awesome at communicating. Met us there to make sure we cleared the low cable (there’s a pole right there to lift it up if you’re a little too tall). We’ve been on the road for months and this has been one of our favorite stays.
Sequim has trails everywhere. We went to the Olympic game farm and that was crazy/fun/interesting. Go there and feed the yaks/bison/llamas/ and dozens of other tame animals. Kids loved it. We also jumped over to Victoria from port Angeles. Easy to do.
Overall we highly recommend and we will stay here again. Enjoy it!

Karl is an excellent host. The property is large and easily accessed by travel trailers and motor homes alike. The location is extremely convenient to Sequim, Port Angeles, and local points of interest. The full hookups made staying cool and comfortable a breeze and made quick work of breaking down camp to leave.
Our group would gladly stay here again.

We had a very nice long stay in Sequim at Karl‘s hip camp. Each night we were treated to a beautiful sunset. We had warm weather, wildflowers, hocks, quail and of course… All that lavender in bloom. We had complete for hook ups which was so great. I finally figured out to watch TV off my computer

Rv stay at Karl's was beyond lovely. Lots of grassy paths with wildflowers to frame the gorgeous sunsets and mountain views. We only used one site but had the place to ourselves with the way he sets up the booking. Sequim is a beautiful area with lots to do nearby.

We really loved staying here, there is nothing we would have changed. It provided an amazing space for our three kids to run, play, and explore, something we miss since living in an RV full time. The proximity to Sequim and all amenities was super helpful. There is a bike trail super close, a lavender farm next door, and of course, tons of opportunity for adventure at Olympic National Park. We got to meet both Karl and Rob, both very nice and even provided a few games for us to play. All this with full hook-ups at a reasonable price. Hands down, one of our favorite stops in 9 months of RVing full time. I would come back in a heartbeat and we would have stayed longer than a week if it wasn't already booked.

We had a great time at this campsite and hope to return again soon. In an area dotted with small family farms and homes. The owner is super nice, and the property offers views of the Olympic mountains and sunsets. Situated right next door to a lovely lavender farm, and only a few minutes drive to all that Sequim has to offer. The disc golf baskets were the icing on the cake.

We really enjoyed our stay on the farm - nice set-up for the RV. Very peaceful, the smell of lavender drifting over from the adjoining farm makes it even more relaxing! Great location to explore the area, we definitely plan to return!

This is a great place to stay. A beautiful spot with a perfect atmosphere to make you feel welcome.
Convenient to Sequim and many different activities nearby.
The host, Rob, was very welcoming, friendly and informative. He went out of his way to make us and our four little boys feel welcome. I would highly recommend staying here and we plan to do it again in the near future.

This camp has an expansive view of the Olympic Mountains and very affordable for a full hookup! Plenty of room to move around, neighboring a lavender farm that has a gift shop and tours. Rob the host is very personable and accommodating making sure our time there was special! We would definitely stay there again!

Rob the camp host greeted and guided us to our spot next to the hop fields, we walked over the Lavender farm, played disc golf and enjoyed beautiful sunsets! Would stay here over a RV campground any day!

I would absolutely recommend staying at Karls place. Quiet place to stay. We stayed 2 extra nighta we enjoyed it so much. We had no complaints - Rob met us when we pulled in gave us the lay of the farm anf made us feel very welcome.

We loved staying in the bus. We spend two nights with our two kids (3 and 5 years old), and it was great! The host was really friendly! The kids enjoyed "steering" the bus and exploring inside, and we all found it fun and a bit weird to take a bath in a bus. We spend some time at Dungeness Recreation Area, which is beautiful! We also visited the lavender farm next door, where we got a free tour and did a bit of shopping.
My kids have made me promise that we go back some day!

This place is a real gem! There are 2 sites available, situated on the back of the property, along the edge of a 1 to 2 acre field. The field is frequented by songbirds, rimmed with poppies and other wildflowers, and bordered on the far side by a lavender farm. There is a disc golf course set up which was great fun to try out. There is some noise from the road, but it is quiet at night and did not detract from our stay.
There are beautiful views of the Olympic mountains to the south, and thousands of stars at night. A multitude of hiking trails can be found nearby, and Olympic National Park is a short drive away. A word of caution for allergy sufferers, while the property is mowed, there is a lot of long grass in the close surrounds. Come prepared if your stay is during grass season. Rob, the camp manager, is very friendly and helped make our stay really comfortable. Everything at the site was well maintained and clean. We will definitely return.

Karl is very kind and helpful. We stayed during Thanksgiving and we couldn't get electricity working in our travel trailer. We didn't realized that we were running on battery until it's dark but Karl graciously came over and help us figured it out on the Thanksgiving night. Next afternoon Karl gave us his organic squash to grill. It was so delicious! He's very friendly and attentive. The site is very private and quiet. We'll definitely be back again. Thank you Karl!

Karl is a perfect host. Super kind, helpful, communicative, respectful, and all around cool guy. The site is airy and really well kept with killer views of the Olympic Mtns. A large garden and big lavender field are your quiet neighbors. Frisbee golf.... lots of grass for my kid to play soccer on. Hookups were perfect and close. Great base for Olympics, the Pacific coast, Port Townsend or Angeles and ferries.... Karl gave me gorgeous organic squashes - and was very cool about Covid protocols. Highly recommend staying here. And a great deal, wallet-wise!
