This was a stunning location and the hosts were incredibly gracious. My daughter was in heaven visiting the horses and petting the sweet kitties. We would absolutely visit again!

Accommodating is the first thing that comes into my mind. Just willing to spend that extra time to be sure I was all set up. And the site was level enough that I only had to level front to back slightly. You can’t do justice to the view with pictures. If you pass this up its totally your loss.

Barbara welcomed me and showed me the property when I arrived. As advertised, the farm is beautifully surrounded by hillsides and is populated with cows, horses, chickens and a very friendly barn cat. I slept great and I heard some roosters, but they didn’t keep me from sleeping in.

A short stop at Barbara’s Hipcamp was everything we needed and wish we could have stayed longer to take in the views and hang with the cats! Beautiful scenery and communicative host made this a fantastic stay.

The host Barbara is AMAZING and easy to work with! Very accommodating! Space 3 was perfect for us and the views from there are breathtaking! This, so far, has been one of our favorite hipcamps in Washington state! Valley and Mountain views galore, yet close enough to go out to eat, groceries, etc!

I was on the tail-end of a road trip, looking for a peaceful place to rest for the night -- something opposite from the bustle of a noisy and packed campground. That's exactly what I got. My little dog and I had Barbara's place to ourselves! In the evening, my dog explored while I ate dinner and watched the horses graze as the stars came into view. I loved hearing a group of coyotes howl in the distance as I faded to sleep. In the morning, the crow of roosters reminded me I was outside the city, and the farm cat welcomed me with affections, patiently interacting with my wound up dog.
This was a great place to get a good rest on a piece of land just minutes from town at a good price, especially if you're wanting to avoid a busy and noisy campground. Barbara's communication was prompt and helpful.

Cute working farm with chickens, horses, cows and very friendly cats. Ordered the farm fresh eggs and they did not dissapoint. Host are friendly and helpful. Great view of the valley and animals in 30amp Site #1. It's a good fit for our 19ft travel trailer. Wifi is spotty, but AT&T works. It is a Verizon dead spot. Had a concert in Spokane 25mins away. Perfect get away to eveything.

Overall, the site is fairly nice. Although, the 30 amp service near the shop is a back-end site that is not the easiest to back into. Certainly not impossible but for a novice like me, it was challenging. The hosts were nice enough. Just didn't get to get much information from them. They have a public fire pit on the property but the entire time I stayed there there was a tree laying in the middle of it making it unusable. Not to mention the fact the fire pit is right up next to the house and so if you use it you're going to have to quit early or disrupt the house late at night. It is a very good place if you want to do some stargazing. Nice clear skies. Still some city light pollution but you have to deal with that almost everywhere.

We really enjoyed our two night stay at Mica Valley Ranch. Barbara was very pleasant and welcoming. We loved being around the animals. Our daughters had fun picking fresh cherries and raspberries. Overall, a quiet and peaceful getaway.

Thank you, Barbara, for a great stay! The views were great, site was very comfortable/safe, and the friendly animals with a pretty sunrise was charming to wake up to. I would def come back!
I booked the same day and the communication/directions where to camp was straight-forward. The boondock site was pretty level and easy to get to.
I arrived just before dusk and my dog and I were greeted by the friendliest and sweetest cat who hungout while we set-up. Then came the horses up to the fence to say hello, that was neat. We could see the cows in the field. As the sun went down we could here some coyotes yipping in the distance. The area was fenced, so no worries about unwanted animal visitors.
We woke up to the sunrise and cows by the fence. They were so quiet I had no idea they were that close until we saw them. The horses came by again too which was very sweet.
Other reviewers mentioned the roosters being loud in the morning. I heard them (in a truck with pop-up camper/tent), but maybe because where I was, the noise didnt bother me easily could sleep through it. The occasional road noise from some loud vehicles passing was more annoying (but thats cause my camper is more of a tent so very thin walls). There were a few mosquitos, unsurprisingly for the time of year and area, but I was prepared. Plus it was not overwhelming and they quickly went away as it cooled off and there was a slight breeze.
It was a really nice spot, worth the short drive from I-90. Thanks!

Peaceful spot, lots of farm animals which is fun, but if you’re not a morning person come prepared with earplugs because the roosters aren’t messing around. I had an issue my second night -rolled in at 11pm after a work event and I was barely able to drive back down to my spot because a class c was blocking the road down. I had to drive off to the side of the road barely clearing the fence and front of the rv. I almost gave up as it was super sketchy but I had just enough space to squeeze by. Tried to contact host but no reply. I have a feeling it was another hip camper but it could have been avoided with better signage or intervention from host. Overall fine spot for a night or two.

Nice hosts, prompt responses when messaged. Beautiful property. Hookups worked well. Listened to coyotes in the morning until the roosters started crowing. Very relaxing stay, everything well kept, definitely out of town and city noises. One site with 50 amp, another with 30 and field for dispersed camping. Animals include cows, horses, cats and chickens (with a beehive for good measure). Well worth the visit!

We were in Liberty Lake due to a family illness; so, we did not need anything more than a parking spot. It was safe and easy to work with. The signal was limited in spite of being only 3 miles from town.

I absolutely would recommend staying at the Boondocks! Barbara was so sweet and kind. Upon arriving I was informed I had reserved a site with no hookups. Barbara offered me to move to spot w hookups but there was a non running vehicle in the rv spot. So in order for me to move to that spot Barbara had to tow vehicle out and few other things so that my rv wb in a spot w hookups. Her and her family went out of their way for me and I could not have thanked her enough. On top of thst she also let me borrow her water hose w filter i ended up using for my entire stay...cpl weeks. Barbara and her family are the best. I will definitely refer people and I would absolutely stay again. Property is gorgeous and peaceful!! Thank you for everything!

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The host's daughter showed us around and was very nice. We stayed in the boondock sights and it was rather small (the entire area is small), 2 of 3 "sites" had fire rings. It's a tight fit down the driveway to the spot as RVs block most of the parking area. The cows and horses were great neighbors but the overly friendly cat crawled all over our truck tent and left holes on my rainfly and netting. Not a bad spot but don't use a tent!!

the site was good for a short term stay. It’s graveled, level, water and 50 amp. No dump site. Good views of the ranch and mountains in the distance. Wouldn’t be able to set up the awning and tether it with stakes because of the gravel surface. We were parked next to the garage and provided privacy.
