Birdy
Staying in Birdy was such a great experience! It’s set up so comfortably & it was very private. The dogs were so sweet (with us & our pup). The town is also a perfect setting for a little day adventure. We would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful, quiet spot. A perfect overnight for me on my way to Seattle. Having access to a fridge, shower, and bathroom really elevated the experience. The shelter over the tent was a treat, too, and kept my tent totally dry from a surprise summer storm. The dogs were so sweet! Would stay again.

Loved the dogs! The place was cute and peaceful. Not a bad drive to the Gorge and we slept well. Hip camp is just that and this is a hip camp. Thank you for the peace.

The scenery was incredible at this bus and it came with all the amenities it claimed, save for jugs to bring water back. It was very private and spacious. I enjoyed listening to the birds and we saw many magpies and songbirds. Their dogs were super friendly and wanted all the pets they could get, which was cute. We only stayed one day and the views and gentle water nearly made up for the disruptive sleep we experienced. It’s very windy (which came as no surprise, since the listing mentioned this), and there was a large willow tree that kept hitting the roof of the bus, startling me and my partner awake every 10-30 minutes. The sound of it hitting the metal was deeply unsettling, and though it looked safe, the noise continued to bother us until we slept in the car for the remainder of the night, from about 2 in the morning, as we had to get on the road.

🍍 Our stay at the Masabaje Camp was just dandy! Diiiiiid have to look up the definition of "Masabaje" before booking; since nudity is just fine by me, it certainly didn't stop us from showing up! The host, Matt was personable and roamed the property. He was very kind, welcoming, and helpful to everyone staying there.
I also most certainly ended up googling "pineapple culture" before ever understanding why there were so many in sight and why my boyfriend had such a interesting look on his face. So, the ol saying "know before you go" is gonna have its place in this review. Do you remember the 80's/90's public service cam "the more you know" commercials? Well, (insert reasons why early education is an asset here), I do too!
The atmosphere was as relaxed and as open as the guests it hosted.
The Tin Man was cozy, warmed up fast, and had a great deal of space for just the two of us. The wind was incredible and brought the perfect amount of cool. If you have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, you might want a different option but I found it to be the perfect amount of white noise.
The property was great! A multitude of eclectic places for you to lay your head or space for you to bring your own. There are various bodies of water ready for your attention, plenty of space to roam, and a polethra of beautiful things to look at
A really cool little shared kitchen and bathroom space with a flushing toilet and a shower that does it's job. Bring your own soaps and suds 🍍

This was the perfect weekend away - largely in part to Masabaje camp! The land was beautiful, the Tin Man a sweet and cozy landing place for the evening, and Pluto, Sun, and roaming cats were the sweetest new pet friends. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very good place, would recommend it, it’s safe and a an excellent retreat for the night.
Facilities make it a plus, use of clean bathroom and shower.
Friendly owners.

Stayed in Bedford on a Monday night and it was extremely peaceful. Bathroom was such a nice treat for a spot like this after long hiking days. The dogs Sun & Pluto were a major highlight while missing our dog on this trip!
Would absolutely stay again!

I slept in Bedford and the mattress was super comfy and it was warm inside, despite a crazy windstorm. There was a power strip inside and cute string bulb lights for nighttime that plugged in. There was a lot of storage under the bed too. The spot was a little bit away from the other cabins giving it privacy, yet it was a quick walk to the bathroom and kitchen. It was super cool to have a fridge, stove, flush toilet, and showers. Delightful! The pond was cute but I didn't get to it much, too windy. The dogs were adorable and I fell in love with Pluto. Matt, the property manager, was awesome and very attentive. There was a group camping there too, and they were so generous and included me in all activities and meals! As a solo camper, it was a great experience. I would absolutely stay there again.

Nice place, pleasant hosts and guests, generally quiet. The tent site had a shelter for shade and to put gear in if it rained. Close to Ellensburg.

It was a perfect camp and enjoyed the peaceful little creek valley. We enjoyed everything about it. A great time. Love the friendly dogs and our dogs thought they were great too.

Birdy was unique and fun! The property/views are so pretty, the bus is right next to a cute little pond, and there are two very sweet dogs. Hope to come back!

This was a great little camping spot. 15 minutes from Ellensburg. A nice heated indoor common room with an amazing shower! And the animals were super friendly. Would absolutely camp here again!

The lean-to was a perfect shelter from the wind! Great spot to was the sunrise over the various fall foliage as well. The shower and fridge in the common area were definitely a plus!

This Hipcamp was the perfect spot for us after our day of fly fishing on the Yakima River near Ellensburg. The property is an oasis set in a gorgeous backdrop of rolling hills, farms, and a view of the Cascades. We immediate felt at home being greeted by the friendly dogs. Tin Man is eclectic and comfortable. The facilities had everything we needed and the community space was accessible and complete. We definitely recommend this spot. Everything about our trip went smoothly. We'd love to come back.

I loved Bedford. The bed is comfortable and we stayed cozy and warm despite gusting winds. It is well placed for beautiful dusky sunset views. We had pleasant birdsong in the morning too. I loved the dogs Sun and Pluto and was endlessly charmed by their sweet cuddles during their camp visits. Having an indoor bathroom and kitchen was also a bonus. It's a great place and all the people were friendly and chill. I loved it!

Magnificent experience. Chris and Bruce are Incredibly kind and gracious. The clubhouse/common area is the big score. State of the art fridge, washer and dryer, and an amazing glass shower. 5 star all the way. Health and happiness are the priority here. And wait till you see the stars…

This was a cute place to crash after a show at The Gorge Amphitheater. The noise of the brook flowing into the pond next to Birdy was soothing. Clear communication and directions from the hosts was appreciated.
