Welcome to our peaceful property with beautiful views in every direction! Surrounded by blueberry fields, we purchased this property to enjoy camping with our three kids, extended family, and friends away from crowded campgrounds . Offering the use of it to others through Hipcamp is a fun way to share with others when not in use by us. We hope others will find the same joy we do. Property access is directly off the road with any vehicle. We have had large motor homes on the property without any trouble. Traffic is minimal with mostly other people off to enjoy their recreational land. The nearest neighbors are about 500' away across the blueberry fields. You may occasionally hear our neighbors enjoying their property as well but the noises sound distant and haven't been a problem for us. Because we allow dispersed camping there may be other people on the property with you. Please select our group camping option If you are interested in having the entire property for yourselves or for an event such as a family reunion or large friend group camping trip. The property is about one mile from the cascade bicycle trail which will take you to Sedro-Woolley in eleven miles or East to Birdsview Brewery in seven miles. If you explore even further East you'll find Act One Ice Cream Parlor adjacent to The Concrete Theater in Concrete. Check their website for hours and showings. A new local spot, Lyman Tavern, might also be a fun place to grab a bite to eat. Kids are allowed during certain hours. Cozy up next to a campfire at our fire pit constructed last season. It is located in the center of the property. Posts with solar lights are also around the fire pit. The lights are operated by remote so lights can be turned off to star gaze. You are welcome to burn any wood already down. Outdoor opportunities (hiking, biking, rafting) are in abundance from about any direction. To the East you'll find the North Cascade National Park, Baker Lake within the Mt. Baker National Forest, and Ross Lake National Recreation Area. Bicyclists will enjoy the close proximity to the Cascade Trail. Places to explore further from camp could be Deception Pass, Padilla Bay or the quaint towns of LaConner and Anacortes. We do not live on site but could potentially be there upon your arrival setting up any "extras" you've requested or finishing property maintenance. We do have friends nearby who alert us to anything that doesn't look right. ***As this is a working agricultural area we want to be transparent that farm activities such a spraying and harvesting of the blueberries may occur along property boundaries. More than likely this will not happen during your stay but be prepared to head to town for ice cream or to the Birdsview Brewery while things settle down around camp. Please let us know if you have any questions. This has not been a problem for us yet personally.

Or Birdsview Brewery in seven miles if you go East.  Birdsview Diner is another fun spot with good food, outdoor seating and games and sometimes hosts concerts.  If you explore further East you'll find Act One Ice Cream Parlor adjacent to The Concrete Theater in Concrete. Check their website for hours and showings. Outdoor opportunities (hiking, biking, rafting) are in abundance from about any direction. More than likely this will not happen during your stay but be prepared to head to town for ice cream or to the Birdsview Brewery while things settle down around camp. Due to the overwhelming number of cancellations and requests for reschedules please review the policy before booking.  From now on we are 100% sticking to the policy, thanks!

We stayed at Megan's Hipcamp this past weekend and had a fabulous time! There were six families with six kids under three, and there was plenty of space for everyone. We loved the privacy, and the center fire pit brought everyone together. It was a quick walk to the river, and all the kids loved picking wild blackberries along the way. We can't wait to come back, and we would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a group camping option!

This site is a large field surrounded by trees and bordered by blueberry fields. The shaded tree areas are great for pitching tents, the open field great for playing games, and the fire pit and picnic tables made everything easy. Porta potty onsite was nice and clean. We would come back for sure!

Another great stay at Megan’s place! We came last year for our annual family camping and loved it so much we came back this year :) we highly recommend booking this spot if you’re looking for a group camp spot

This is a nice open space for camping surrounded by blueberry fields and a very low traffic road. With limited amenities nearby, it’s nice for a short stay. I’m glad no other campers were at the site - it would be too close for comfort if the other two sites were filled with strangers.

Wow! An indescribable location for my first annual camping trip w/ my outdoor adventure group. As founder of the group I had a huge pressure to find the “perfect” spot and this spot nailed it. 9 moms and 16 kids attended our camping trip. Ample, I mean AMPLE, space for all. Folks who slept in had their own space and early risers had theirs. Plenty of shade and lots of sun! The patio area was incredible for meals, s’mores, and relaxing while the plot of land allowed the kids to roam free and explore like little adventurers they are. Local hikes brought us fresh cherries, salmonberry, thistle berry, and blueberries which we made into smoothies. An abundance of trees allowed us endless spaces for hammocks and a tight rope, the outhouse was beyond clean and perfect for our size group, the addition of volleyball and disc golf was fun for the older kids. We did not experience any pesticide spraying but that would be considered our only downside due to kids (but this comes with the location and shouldn’t be docked on the owner). River was a short .6 walk and the kids rode bikes. Convenient stores within 5-10 minutes and lots of wood for sale. And almost no noise the entire 5 nights and 6 days. Currently there is a red tailed hawk nest on the property with some seriously vocal babies- for those who don’t love nature you may hate this. Our group was OBSESSED. Lastly- the picnic tables are extra long, please note this when bringing covers

This place was absolutely perfect. Kids? Any age! Dogs? Any size! It was peaceful quiet at a perfect setting. We had 25 people with three babies. Megan, your property was amazing. Bike rides down to the river. Hiking/gas station near by. I can’t say enough about it. Memories were made. We WILL be back. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This is such a lovely spot! Great for a big group. Megan has some great amenities on the property and has put much care and thought into this space. She was very responsive and kind. Can't recommend enough!

Such a perfect little spot for a big group! Very spacious and the river is just a minute drive away! My family and I enjoyed every bit of Lush! I was so impressed by how fresh and clean the honey bucket was! The host provided a bucket of water to start off with and there is also a grill you can use! There’s also a couple of little handmade swings to get on and a great place to put your hammock(s). The only downsides are you’d have to bring your trash back home with you and there’s no water for you to wash up, so bring lots of water or go and grab some in a bucket from the river! Overall this place was a 5* for me!

Another fantastic weekend on Megan's beautiful property! We stayed here last year and had such a good time that we vowed to come back this year, and we did! The group option is sooooo perfect for a big group. We had 12 people, 6 dogs, and 1 cat, and PLENTY of space. It's a perfect spot to watch the stars. Thanks so much, Megan!

Our group of 25 with 6 dogs had a fantastic time at Megan’s and would def recommend to anyone looking for a large private site for a big group. There was plenty of space for all of our tents approx 10 tents were set up plus 1 car tent and there was still plenty of space to hang around and be spread out. The Porta potty was great for the weekend and was cleaned before our stay. The blueberry fields surrounding had workers during our Friday stay but the rest of the weekend was quiet but even on Friday we barely noticed them. The road is close by and had cars driving through but at such separated intervals that you would barely notice. We made a little parking lot on the side that Megan marked out for us and that worked really well for those that wanted to in and out of camp. The river was a 5 min drive away or about a 15 min walk and had a nice rocky shore and a little “kiddie” pool that was shallow. The string lights around the fire pit was nice and cozy but wasn’t very bright so would def recommend bring some kind of lighting. We had nothing but great reviews from our group for this site and will definitely come back next year!

This was a great spot! We had the whole place to ourselves and Apollo was thrilled to run around and play with the tennis balls. There was river access nearby too. Want to come back and stay longer another time.

We enjoyed our time at the Lush Camping Getaway very much. Easy to get to from I-5 and plenty of room for a small group. The property is in good shape and the port-a-potty is very well maintained. Megan and Trev are always available for questions if any arise. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay here! It was private and quiet. It’s close to the road but there were very few cars and it never bothered us. The area with the fire pit is really nice and the lights are a great touch.

This was a great getaway location, surrounded by blueberry fields. Very little traffic in the area, and very pet friendly. Just enough space to toss a ball or frisbee and run free. The large trees provide plenty of shade and wind protection. It’s is dark and quiet at night, a great place to stargaze without much light pollution. The fire are is super nice with a brick pad that’s a nice touch.

Beautiful piece of property, perfect for a large group and great fire pit area in the middle on bricks with market lights. 3 huge picnic tables and clean outhouse. It is dry camping so everyone has to come prepared (including a plan for garbage, dishes, water, etc). The river is about a 15 min walk with a nice rocky shore to fish or sit. The tree shade is perfect and also let’s in plenty of sun light in the morning and throughout out the day.

Land was amazing! So beautiful all around, but still feels personal and private. String lights were a nice touch. Plenty of space, well kept and the Porto potty was clean. Multiple first-time campers, and they all loved the experience! Sarah was a great host and very nice.

Megan’s land was perfect for our large group! We have 15 people and 6 dogs and her felt we had plenty of space. It was so cool being close to the blueberry fields and there’s also a live view of the mountains. The campground feels like a little oasis. Plenty of trees for shade and a good barrier for privacy. We chose this site for the size and the hopeful ability to see the meteor shower and it truly did not disappoint. Expectations were definitely exceeded! We plan to come back every year!

Nice spot with blueberry fields all around (it is a working field as described). We rented the whole place and it was nice to have the space to ourselves. The fire pit was great (although we only used citronella candles with the fire ban in place). We even used the platform for small group yoga it was perfect. There is a little traffic with trucks and local vehicles going by but very manageable. Clean portapotty, too, and very communicative host. Very convenient spot to Cascade Trail and to Baker Lake and hiking nearby.

Lovely spot! On a road but very low traffic and was quiet and peaceful. The lights around the fire pit are a great touch. Megan was very friendly, welcoming and responsive. great access to North Cascades NP, about 1 hr 45 min to the visitor center. I had the spot to myself, not sure how noisy or different it would be with other guests. Regardless, I will definitely be back!

A wonderful place to camp! My family and I would return here without hesitation. Megan is an excellent host, was very communicative, and went above and beyond so that our camping trip was the best possible.

Megan’s spot was perfect for camping before heading into Cascade NP. There is a fire pit as well, which we used to make s’mores and socialize. Megan was easy to communicate with and helpful!

Megan has created a lovely and comfortable camping spot in a wonderfully peaceful area, with many trees for shade. The hipcamp is surrounded by blueberry fields, and the roads have very low traffic - we enjoyed cycling the quiet roads which lead to spots on the river, and to the Cascade Trail. Megan was very responsive to any questions, and the site was pristine.

Thoroughly enjoyed camping on this beautiful property and having it all to ourselves. The location made for a nice launchpad for exploring deeper into the North Cascades. Megan, the host, was very communicative throughout, which was appreciated. Finding a level spot on the property was easy. Fire pit and patio are very nice. We would definitely stay here again, though probably only if we were the only party again since we like privacy when camping. Great outing!

Tent camping here was so cool! Nice open field with some tree cover and a nice fire pit with some picnic tables in the middle. Easy to drive to and gorgeous views. Also porta potties were clean. Would definitely recommend!

Megan was a gracious, responsive, and helpful host - we loved our stay! The location is peaceful and beautiful - close to some great hikes, parks, and local spots (Birdsview Brewery was great!). There was plenty of room tucked in the trees for our tents and hammocks. The porto was clean and well-kept. We loved the string lights and fire pit area, and the grassy lawn was perfect for hanging out comfortably at camp. We'll definitely be back next year!

My family and I loved camping at Sarah's campsite. It was so peaceful. We were the only campers there which made it even better because our kids could run around and be free. They loved the homemade tree swings. We will definitely be back
