Beautiful, serene and peaceful.
We booked site 3, lovers corner and Galilee informed me a few days prior to our trip that she switched us to Group site due to the heat wave coming in and site 3 is more exposed to the sun. If you looking for a quiet and visually beautiful place to get away, look no further. The campsites are spaced far apart and private yet there is a community campfire if you wish to be social with other campers. Brett and Galilee are warm and considerate hosts and have thought of everything down to the littlest detail... firewood, kindling, reading material in the , you name it. This campsite is part of the couples home and acreage, it has multiple outbuildings, gardens and farm animals. You may catch a glimpse of Galilee working in her garden but her and Brett do not impose unless invited. I am happy to have had the chance to get to know them even just a little bit... lovely, wholesome people. There is a small creek running through the property with a few places you can access, more of a cooling off place than swimming. You also have an opportunity to use an outdoor shower, it's cold water only but so refreshing. Down the road a few miles is a swimming hole that is perfect for all ages and not too busy. That's where I took the photo of my granddaughter tossing her hair back. Our last night at the farm we were treated to a thunderstorm that was not only welcome after but also phenomenally beautiful within the surrounding mountains. Thank you Brett and Galilee, we'll see you again.
