This location worked perfect for my needs. I just needed a space to hook up, drain my tanks and winterize my 36 ft motorhome.
However, its not a great place if you are looking for peace and quiet and a good nights rest. Its next to the major train tracks thru town. Train engines idling 50 yards away all the time. The loud train horns of the amtrac and freights going thru makes it impossible to sleep without interruption.
Mike was super responsive and friendly.
There are a couple of things worth mentioning. If your rig is like mine and the wet bay is mid ways up the coach . Two lengths of the sewer hose were not enough. I was able to reposition and park at an angle to make it work. The power plug has no circuit breaker accessible so make sure you do not exceed 30 amps. I recommend you have a water pressure reducer. I did not check it. I didnt need to hook up as I was draining the systems. This spot is right by the street. Even tho people were walking by all the time, no one bothered me. Mike did mention that the trains will be mostly gone next year (2026) after the power plant is shut down. I will be back in the spring to take my motorhome out of storage and flush the water system. This trip saved me a lot of money by not having to pay a shop to winterize, and I cannot take my rig home. This place is perfect for what I needed.

Super easy spot to back into with full (high power) hookups. Water ran clean, table top flat gravel pad. Easy walk into downtown or short drive to The Sportshub /Borst Park. Yes there's trains but it's just white noise, ground doesn't tremble or anything...

Was great to pull in and plug into sewer and electrical and have easy access to city.
Also, appreciated not being in a crowded campground.
Was easy to walk dogs.
Internet was great and host quickly responded to all questions.

Hub-City is very different from every other hipcamp experience I've had! Forget close to town, this is in town! We loved the accessibility this provided us, the ability to walk to downtown and explore a lot of centralia/chehalis on foot was a welcome change! Area felt safe even though it's near the train tracks - that would be the only ding on this site, train noise would occur every hour or so - didn't bother me at all but if you are a light sleeper, something to be aware of; otherwise, great stay!
