Located just minutes from two incredible state parks—Penrose State Park and Joemma Beach State Park—you’ll have easy access to scenic hiking trails, saltwater beaches, and stunning views of Puget Sound. Bay Lake is also nearby, perfect for fishing, kayaking, or simply enjoying a relaxing day on the water. Set on a working equestrian boarding facility, our farm brings a unique charm and connection to nature. You may see horses grazing nearby, hear the gentle sounds of the countryside, and spot abundant local wildlife, including deer, birds, and more. Guests can enjoy fresh farm eggs (when available), an old apple orchard, blackberry groves, wide-open space, and a peaceful setting that feels far away from it all—yet still within reach of everything the Key Peninsula has to offer. The site is level and easily accessible, making it ideal for tents or small campers. Located on Farm 1881, you’ll be surrounded by open pastures, friendly horses, and abundant wildlife. Fresh farm eggs may be available during your stay, adding a simple, authentic touch to your camping experience. Just a short drive away, you’ll find outdoor recreation at Penrose Point State Park and Joemma Beach State Park, both offering scenic shoreline access, hiking trails, kayaking, and fishing opportunities. Bay Lake is also nearby for a relaxing paddle or a quiet afternoon casting a line. Tranquillum Forest Farm RV Site #1

The RV location on the edge of the field and has 15/30/50 amp power and hose bib water. The camp site has a fire pit and chairs, BBQ gas grill, Private space but other people are in the area, The view is of woods all around you. Lots of wildlife and you will probably see our large resident owl flying over your campfire at night. We are very close to Olalla Winery, The Olalla bay Market park has Kayak or SUP Launch and parking. 3 Local breweries. Farmer Markets, Hiking, and short distance to fast ferry to downtown Seattle or 10 minute drive to Tacoma.

Great tent camping on a farm.

Maple Grove Camp Site # 1
Tent camping here was great. Friendly hosts. Quiet space. Hose spigot at the campsite. Tree swing for the kids. Cozy spot tucked into the trees. Farm animals for the kids to visit with. Picked enough blackberries and apples on the nearby house trails and meadows to make pie when I got home. Host shared a dozen eggs from his hens with us when we arrived, and we cooked them on the campfire for breakfast. Beach and State Park is a 3 minute drive from the property. Would stay again.
