Hoh River Campsites

Fantastic property within easy reach to the Hoh rainforest, Ruby beach, Tree of Life, etc. Great communication with the hosts, will definitely be back!

The grounds were beautiful and well maintained with easy river access. Site 7 is described as the smallest site compared to the other massive sites but I wouldn’t consider it small. We could have fit 2 7x7 tents on the site and 2 small suvs in the driveway. It also had what looked like over flow parking next to it. I loved the seclusion of this site. I would definitely come here again.

A very tent- friendly site! Really appreciated how the land slopes away from the tent and other camp area when it downpours rain 😂. A beautiful setup, thoughtfully done and well organized! Would definitely recommend.

This is truly an amazing spot! I camped two nights in my little truck camper on site 5 with my pup. The sites are large and offer plenty of privacy and it is really lovely being able to walk over to the river easily. Ruby beach is a short drive down the road. Overall very quiet (first night there was a large group that was a bit loud but obviously not the hosts fault!). Would definitely stay again.

We spent eight nights at Maple Creek Outfitters Land and had another wonderful stay. The sites are always clean and well maintained, it is clear that a lot of thought has gone into the layout. It is the perfect base camp for exploring Olympic National Park and everything else the Forks area has to offer. The newly added self-serve firewood station is an awesome and convenient addition. This place is always at the top of our list and will continue to be part of our annual camping rotation. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

This is one of the best campgrounds we've ever stayed at! It was clean, quiet, serene. All things one would ask for in a campground. We loved the Maple loop hike-don't miss this ! (go beyond the big maple to the right and the trail continues to much more of their amazing forested property) And dipping into the river for a quick cool down on a hot august day. Would love to be back!

This was such a great setting. We had never been out here before but we will definitely be back! So private and the sites are all spacious…even the one we had that was tent only had plenty of room. It’s a quick walk to the river and it’s so beautiful!

The best camping of my life.

We didn't want to leave. Everyone was respectful and we felt safe. The camp host was very good at responding to our questions and we were extremely at peace. What a beautiful amazing trip for us. We had never seen the eare before. I just can't even tell you how awesome this place is it is just heavenly.

Site 3 - Hoh River Campsites

This was without a doubt the best hipcamp I have stayed at. You enter a park like setting, well maintained and just amazing. All the sites are large with level parking. I think we had the best site (4) but in walking and viewing the others any one of the 7 sites would have been great. Gated entry is a great touch. When you are here you feel like you are staying in an RV park not just on someones property. If you pass on this you are making a mistake.

We had a great time! Site 4 is perfect for a big group and the grass was really nice to hangout in. It was relatively private, not as private as some other places I camp but it’s not super close to other sites besides 5 being across the way. The river is so nice and very easy access as well as being so close to the ocean beaches! There was a bit of landscaping noise going on while we were there which wasn’t ideal but I understand things have to be done in order to upkeep. All in all a very nice spot to be!

Stayed in site 7 and was very secluded. Bathrooms in good condition, host was very nice and helpful! Short walk to the hoh river was cool, the campground is about 45min from the rainforest and 10min from ruby beach.

A great place to camp

This is my second year staying at hoh River campsites and next year I'll be back again. I really like this Campground. It's very well maintained and the sites are not on top of one another. Very much worth the cost. Also love that I can pre-order some firewood and it will be at my site when I arrive. Not having to deal with finding firewood and transporting it is so nice. Having access to the whole river on the site was also a nice addition.

The whole campground was absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. Site 7 was away from others and quiet. Plenty of space for us and surrounded nature. Walk to river was nice and so pretty to see. Host were super nice. Definitely going back! Thanks again for having us!

Best Hipcamp!

We loved camping here! This is the best Hipcamp we have ever been to. Upon entry the place had great signage so we knew we were in the correct place. We received well written instructions on how to enter snd leave the property as well as the property rules. Very secluded yet right next to many things to do. Several sites here but they are not very close to each other and we hardly knew we even had neighbors. The site we were at was humongous! We had 6 kids with us and they had a blast just running around our site and playing with sticks. The bathrooms were close by and very clean and well stocked. They sold bundles of wood with Venmo set up which made things easy for us. The river is a short walk from the sites and felt tremendously private. We hope to come here again next year.

By far one of the absolute BEST places I have camped!!! I was traveling solo and felt safe. The hospitality is unmatched. I cant wait to come back, not to mention it was super close to the Hoh rain forest trailhead and many other things to do!

Picturesque Paradise

This is the most beautiful Hipcamp and/or campground we have seen. The grounds are meticulously maintained. The entrance is resort like. The sites are large and picturesque. When we inquired about extending our stay…Maggie went above and beyond to accommodate us as well as another guest with the same request. After two months on the road this place was just what we needed to relax and reset. My only regret is that we do not have time to stay longer. The love, care, hard work and vision is obvious from the moment you enter the property .

Beautiful Setting and great campsit

What a beautiful setting. The directions were clear and easy to follow. Site 4 was well laid out, level and had a nice fire ring. The walk down to the river was easy and perfect for a swim and wash off the dust of the day.

Site 6 - Hoh River Campsites

We are traveling from Virginia and this was our first time using HipCamp. We enjoyed staying here. Campsites were private, large, and had easily accessible portable toilets. I did overlook the lack of dumpsters/trash cans noted on the listing and wish that had been available, or just provided with directions to one nearby. Host was responsive. Would definitely recommend staying here.
