Thank you for an amazing 2025 season. We will see you back in the spring of 2026. Book your events and campouts now before the season fills up! We are located on a very private property (the only houses you will see are across the inlet) surrounded by nature but only about 10 minutes from downtown Olympia and 5 minutes from I-5 and Lacey. The property is situated on the very south end of Henderson Inlet. We are on the tide flats so twice a day (at high tide) we have the opportunity to explore on the water in canoes and kayaks. The property is spread over 16 acres and is comprised of two large fields (one in front of our home and the other is a smaller meadow off to the side (hidden meadow) and forest land. There is tons of space for playing, exploring and tiring out your kids and pups! Wildlife is abound with eagles, hawks, owls, falcons, shore birds and a variety of forest birds make this place their home. We are also frequented by the local deer who wonder through and say hi. About the campground: The campground is located in the far northeast corner of the property on the edge of the forest and meadow. In the common areas you will find the porta potty, shower and sink. There is also a supply closet that has the yard games and extra supplies. There is a hot tub situated right on the edge of the forest with peek-a-boo views of the inlet. You will also find garbage and recycling bins. There are trails throughout the forest along the 600 feet of water (tide) front. Along the trails you will find several different benches, seats and swings to relax and enjoy nature from. There are also fairies and gnomes who have been sighted in the forest. If you look closely, you might spot one too! We ware, if you touch a fairy or gnome they do lose their magical powers so please respect the mystical creatures. 😊 The sites are about 500 feet from our house and offer great privacy. You may see us throughout the day and evening coming and going from the campground, working on the property or playing with the kids on the trails!

This site is designed for two people. Meadow site 3 has a two person-picnic table, above ground fire pit, bucket to put fires out, and a tiki torch for ambiance and bugs! This site is situated at the back end of the meadow closest to our house (still at least 500 ft away) but is the only site that is totally hidden from the house visually. It is a large site with flat areas both below and above a slight hill. This site offers some shade and the pleasant sounds of the creek running just behind it. This site can be a great stand-alone site or paired nicely site 2 if are looking to camp with a group. Meadow site 1 is a flat grassy site situated on the edge of the meadow, up against dense forest with peekaboo views of Henderson inlet. It will get the morning shade and direct sun mid morning through afternoon. Bring a shade tent if desired. There is a small shady spot that can fit 3-4 chairs. The forest deck site is our version of glamping! Situated in the edge of the forest adjacent to the small field/meadow with peekaboo views of Henderson inlet. It is the largest of the sites and comes equipped with outdoor furniture, tree swing, and hookups! This is a back in site so please ask if you need a spotter when backing in. At your site: *10’x20’ deck to park your RV next to. *30amp hookup and water *Plenty of seating: couch with two chairs and coffee table set, a beautiful handmade rocking chair with an end table, a picnic table, bench swing! *Large fire pit with two benches *Parking pad is raised so you can open your door and step right onto your deck. (Backing in is required. We suggest having someone to spot you. If you are traveling alone, we are happy to assist you in parking.) Perfect for if you are looking for a large space to host an event like birthday parties, family reunions or weddings! Included is the entire campground area, deck site, hot tub, shower, the walking trails and all the furniture/hangout spots that come with it. Extra toilet facilities will be provided to accommodate your group size for no extra charge. The archway in the pictures is also available for an additional $75 (this includes setup). There are the three sites in the meadow and the deck site. Dispersed camping is also allowed in the meadow or potentially in the big field adjacent if needed. Enjoy the privacy of having the whole space for just your group. Get your event rental/catering delivered on site! Check out time for this site is 1pm so we can get turned around for the next group. Renters are responsible for all cleanup of events. Quiet hours is 9:00pm. Reservations include up to 40 people. Depending on the size of your party, additional restrooms will be provided. Grounds: Grounds will be freshly mowed and trash emptied. Add-ons 1) Archway from the photos - $75 per event (includes setup and takedown) 2) Additional guests $10 per person up to 100 total people 3) Garbage service (we will haul your garbage and recycling to the dump) $100. One recycling and one garbage bin in included for no extra charge. 4) Extra toilet facilities depending on group size for no extra charge. Please message Host if you are interested. Note: guest must bring their own bedding. The bed is a regular queen with a waterproof protector on it. Glamping at its finest! Enjoy the 20 foot diameter Stargazer tent outfitted with a queen bed, indoor table, 4 chairs, couch, refrigerator, propane fireplace and falling asleep gazing at the stars. This tent is set up in the back of the camp nestled behind a large Doug Fir that overlooks all the happenings of Hidden Meadow. The outside space comes with a picnic table, freestanding firepit and Adirondack chairs. This is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a small group up to 4-5. This is our go-to spot when we camp out in the meadow. We love throwing down the air mattress for our children and having the whole family sleep out under the stars. The fireplace gets the tent nice and cozy even on chilly nights. Bring a 20 lb propane tank to run heater if you want heat. We supply a small solar power bank to run lights, the fridge and fan. We suggest charging it during the day with the power plugs available by the bathroom to ensure you have enough power to get through the night and keep the lights and fridge running. We loved our one night stay at Jake and Molly’s! The tent was spacious inside and we were nice and warm during the night. We also loved stargazing by the fire pit; it was so clear! We could even hear coyotes howling and owls hooting in the distance. A special stay for sure!

Omg…what a lovely place. Resettled in the woods and also placed in open meadow with access to adorable trails and sitting benches to explore and enjoy. The family (the hosts) are gems and super kind. If you have the opportunity to stop by and stay, you will not be disappointed.

Jake and Molly's "Hidden Meadows" is well designed and secluded. I didn't use the shower or the hot tub but would have liked to. I was visiting family in the area so had access to some amenities elsewhere. However some family came for one night and we had a very nice time together. Walking down the little trails along the inlet was one of our favorite things to do! Thank you!

Quiet spot close to Olympia and Tacoma. Good spot if you also want to drive to Mt. Ranier for a day trip. They had great firewood + kindling for the price as well! We didnt try the hot tub but seemed like an awesome perk.

This place has such a great vibe! All of the sites are in view of each other but not intrusively so. There was a definite sense of community, even with the usual comings and going of a campsite. Jake and Molly are very friendly and responsive. It was nice to have a shower available, and the little building housing it is cute and well planned. The location is great for trips into downtown Olympia but far enough away to feel immersed in nature.

We stayed in the yurt on their property and it was beautiful. Before coming, I had thought that the yurt was a little further away from the tent camp sites, but it was not. If you're looking for cozy privacy, this is probably not the spot. The hosts, however, really put a lot of thought into their campsites and amenities. The toilets were close enough that it was convenient, there was a sink for washing hands and a hot shower. There were trails along the sound and places for quiet sitting. We played some corn hole in the big open field, and really had a wonderfully relaxing time!

We had an amazing stay! The site was just as described, and the hosts were so kind and helpful. We rented the whole space for a youth camp, and it was perfect, lots of room to spread out tents, plenty of lighting, a fire pit, and access to electricity. The deck site made the best spot for cooking and gathering together. They also brought in an extra porta-potty, and the sink and shower setup onsite was a great option. Such a beautiful, private spot with thoughtful hosts, we’re so thankful we found it and can’t wait to come back!

Me and my partner went and had the best time the host were wonderful to stop by when we got there to make sure we were settled in OK and otherwise it was a quiet night and we didn’t realize that we needed mosquito spray. They had central oil for the tiki torches that they provided for us it was really great. I definitely want to go back for a longer stay

We are so grateful to Molly and Jake for creating such a wonderful campsite! Our group of 40 people, including toddlers, had the best experience here. The place is kept beautifully natural, yet it has the essentials that make a big difference—clean toilets and a shower (which was especially important for us with little ones). The grounds are well cared for and preserved in a way that respects nature. We especially appreciated Jake and Molly’s thoughtfulness in providing biodegradable soap so that we could enjoy the shower without harming the environment. The common area was another highlight—perfectly designed for gathering together, sharing meals, and simply enjoying each other’s company. And of course, the hot tub was a huge hit—the kids especially loved it, and it made the whole stay even more relaxing and fun. Thank you, Molly and Jake, for making this such a welcoming, thoughtful, and environmentally conscious place. We would gladly come back and recommend it to anyone who loves nature but also values comfort!

Had a really wonderful stay at Hidden Meadow retreat! My son loved the cornhole game. We really enjoyed the hotub at sunset and the outdoor shower for rinsing off. The trail along the water is really sweet and the deck area is very comfortable for relaxing with games. Feels like a place to come back to for creating fun family memories.

Hidden Meadow Deck Site
Molly and Jake’s place is exactly that a hidden retreat! Great location for getting away for a few days and exploring other areas of Puget sound that we have not. Very close to downtown area of Olympia went to the farmers market. Did some bakeries, bike riding on the Chehalis Western Trail, several different hikes and just chilling at the hidden retreat. We will recommend to all of our friends and hope to come back. All the sites have an abundance of privacy and love the shower sink situation for everyone. Thanks again Molly and Jake. We appreciate your hospitality!

My stay was brief, for 1 short night, but Hidden Meadows was peaceful and beautiful. The inlet was a highlight. So nice to connect with the ocean, and therefore the whole planet via such a place.

This is a great campsite! It's so peaceful and quiet, with deer running through and birds chirping. The sites are lovely, and you have everything you need - hot shower, water, and even a hot tub! The site is easy to get to but feels far away from it all. I definitely recommend this place!

We stayed at site #2. We have a camper van and the site was level and the picnic table was in good shape. Nice area down by the water to sit. Things were clean and well maintained. Jake was very friendly and made sure we had what we needed. The sites aren't private but there is a fair amount of distance between them.

I was testing out my car camping set up and visiting nearby family and this site was perfect! I visited in mid August and enjoyed the spacious campsite. The camp was quiet, had nearby trails along the water to walk my pup, and was 15 minutes to Olympia. The hosts were attentive and friendly. Amenities were sufficient— had a porta john as well as a shower, hot tub (forgot my suit), and firewood for purchase. The cell reception for ATT was poor—just fyi. Would recommend and will be back! Thanks Jake and camp pup Wilma for a great stay!

I had such a peaceful and relaxed night at Hidden Meadows! I really loved how private and tucked away the deck site felt from the more open meadow sites. The hot shower was wonderful and portable toilet was well maintained. Very quiet at night, even with two other Hipcampers on the property. I would certianly camp here again the next time I'm passing through Olympia. Aside: If you need a clear view of sky for Starlink or solar input I would opt for a meadow site as the deck site is quite shaded.
