We love camping, hiking and any opportunity to be outside with our two children! In 2020 (one week before the whole world shut down from Covid) we found the hidden gem we had been searching for! A perfect place to raise our family, space to play and explore nature, super private and close to town! It seemed too good to be true and still does! After settling in and realizing what amazing natural beauty we had, we got to work developing our garden, orchards, trails, fire pits and….Campsites! After building a camp site for our family, we decided that we wanted to share this amazing space with other families to enjoy! We built Hidden Meadow to be the campsite that we have always searched for on our family adventures, surrounded by nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the world, with trails for hiking and a HOT TUB to relax in, in the evening! We hope that you enjoy it! About the property: We are located on a very private property (the only houses you will see are across the inlet) surrounded by nature but only about 10 minutes from downtown Olympia and 5 minutes from I-5 and Lacey. The property is situated on the very south end of Henderson Inlet. We are on the tide flats so twice a day (at high tide) we have the opportunity to explore on the water in canoes and kayaks. The property is spread over 16 acres and is comprised of two large fields (one in front of our home and the other is a smaller meadow off to the side (hidden meadow) and forest land. There is tons of space for playing, exploring and tiring out your kids and pups! Wildlife is abound with eagles, hawks, owls, falcons, shore birds and a variety of forest birds make this place their home. We are also frequented by the local deer who wonder through and say hi. About the campground: The campground is located in the far northeast corner of the property on the edge of the forest and meadow. In the common areas you will find the bathroom which has a shower and a toilet. The toilet is a porta-potty and the shower is propane headed. There is also a supply closet at the bathroom that has the yard games and extra supplies. There is a hottub situated right on the edge of the forest with peek-a-boo views of the inlet. You will also find garbage and recycling bins as well as a sink for washing hands (please water only down the sink). We have provided soap that is biodegradable for the sink and shower to help reduce our impact on this beautiful environment. There are trails throughout the forest along the 600 feet of water (tide) front. Along the trails you will find several different benches, seats and swings to relax and enjoy nature from. There is also several fairies and gnomes who have been sighted in the forest. If you look closely, you might spot one too! We ware, if you touch a fairy or gnome they do lose their magical powers so please respect the mystical creatures. 😊 The sites are about 500 feet from our house and offers great privacy. You may see us throughout the day and evening coming and going from the campground, working on the property or playing with the kids on the trails! Dogs: We do have two dogs on the property (Wilma and Bean) who are very friendly and we will keep them out of camp during your stay. Although they typically follow us when we walk down there. We allow dogs to be off leash at owner’s risk. There may be other dogs in camp so please use discretion when letting your dogs off leash and be mindful of other campers. You must be responsible for your own dogs, we are not responsible for any dog related or dog inflicted injuries. Getting here: We are off of Sleater Kinney Rd in Olympia. We have a long, steep, curvy driveway. At the bottom of the driveway, you will find signs directing you to the camp site. If you have extra vehicles, we have extra parking spaces adjacent to the campsite. The road out to camp may be bumpy (we do our best to keep it smooth) so go slow and beware of natural obstacles. Rules: 1. Check in time is 2:00pm or later. For afterhours arrivals, please let us know. 2. Check out time is 12:00pm or earlier 3. Quiet hours from 9pm to 8am. You are far from our house, so we can’t hear you but sound travels well over the water to our neighbors. Nobody wants grumpy neighbors, please be respectful. 4. Remain within the campground boundary during all times. If you need us, please feel free to text or call. 5. Please put all trash in the trash cans or take it with you. 6. Remove all dog doo and dispose of in the trash. 7. Leave what you find (except ripe blackberries). Please leave any forest treasures where you found them. 8. Cleanup any debris left from firewood/camp activities before departing. 9. Enjoy nature and respect it. Please stay on trails and respect the plants and the natural habitats. 10. Stay off the dock. It is closed for repair. 11. Do not use the trailside fireplace (if you find it) or our personal canoe or kayaks. However, feel free to enjoy the view from the seats by the fireplace. 12. Be cautious when walking around, the ground is bumpy and there are exposed tree roots that can be tripping hazards. We are not responsible from injuries. 13. Help us keep it clean- if you find any garbage around, please pick it up or let us know. 14. Keep fires small and when you are finished PUT YOUR FIRES DEAD OUT! There are 5 gallon buckets by each fire put to fill before you start your fire for putting them out. 15. Please do not burn trash or food. It can create issues with the wildlife. Put all waste in garbage cans.

Glamping at its finest! Enjoy the 20 foot diameter Stargazer tent outfitted with a queen bed, indoor table, 4 chairs, couch, refrigerator, propane fireplace and falling asleep gazing at the stars. This tent is set up in the back of the camp nestled behind a large Doug Fir that overlooks all the happenings of Hidden Meadow. The outside space comes with a picnic table, freestanding firepit and Adirondack chairs. This is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a small group up to 4-5. This is our go-to spot when we camp out in the meadow. We love throwing down the air mattress for our children and having the whole family sleep out under the stars. The fireplace gets the tent nice and cozy even on chilly nights. Propane is provided at no extra cost. We just ask that you be mindful not to waste it. We supply a small solar power bank to run lights, the fridge and fan. We suggest charging it during the day with the power plugs available by the bathroom to ensure you have enough power to get through the night and keep the lights and fridge running. The forest deck site is our version of glamping! Situated in the edge of the forest adjacent to the small field/meadow with peekaboo views of Henderson inlet. It is the largest of the sites and comes equipped with outdoor furniture, tree swing, and hookups! This is a back in site so please ask if you need a spotter when backing in. At your site: *10’x20’ deck to park your RV next to. *30amp hookup and water *Plenty of seating: couch with two chairs and coffee table set, a beautiful handmade rocking chair with an end table, a picnic table, bench swing! *Large fire pit with two benches *Parking pad is raised so you can open your door and step right onto your deck. Perfect for if you are looking for a large space to host an event like birthday parties, family reunions or weddings! Included is the entire campground area, deck site, hot tub, shower, the walking trails and all the furniture/hangout spots that come with it. Extra toilet facilities will be provided to accommodate your group size for no extra charge. The archway in the pictures is also available for an additional $75 (this includes setup). There are the three sites in the meadow and the deck site. Dispersed camping is also allowed in the meadow or potentially in the big field adjacent if needed. Enjoy the privacy of having the whole space for just your group. Get your event rental/catering delivered on site! Check out time for this site is 1pm so we can get turned around for the next group. Renters are responsible for all cleanup of events. Quiet hours is 9:00pm. Reservations include up to 40 people. Depending on the size of your party, additional restrooms will be provided. This site is designed for two people. Meadow site 3 has a two person-picnic table, above ground fire pit, bucket to put fires out, and a tiki torch for ambiance and bugs! This site is situated at the back end of the meadow closest to our house (still at least 500 ft away) but is the only site that is totally hidden from the house visually. It is a large site with flat areas both below and above a slight hill. This site offers some shade and the pleasant sounds of the creek running just behind it. This site can be a great stand-alone site or paired nicely site 2 if are looking to camp with a group. My friends and I loved this site! We stayed at the deck site and it was beautifully kept and very spacious. The hot tub, toilet, sink and shower were all very clean. Jake and Molly were so accommodating and friendly - they made sure we had a comfortable stay. We already have plans to return this summer with a larger group! This is definitely going on our list of go to annual camp sites 👍🏾

Beautiful meadow and clean facilities. We came through in October on a road trip and stumbled upon this at the last minute. This place would be awesome with a large group. As it was we were the only two people in the meadow, which was wonderfully peaceful!

Jake and Molly have done so much to make this an extremely pleasant camp. We took two spots for two families with elementary aged kids and it couldn’t have worked better. The field was great for soccer and tag, the trails and swings were perfect for exploring, and the hot tub was a wonderful wind-down option. The sink and shower area is attractive as well as functional. There’s even an area where we could charge our phones. And the hosts themselves are friendly and welcoming. We loved our time at this camp!

I had a great time here! Arrived as the sun was going down, set up my tent, had a nice shower after a long day of hiking. In the morning I spent some time in the hot tub as well which was a nice addition😊 I appreciated the little signs which give directions on how to use certain amenities, as well as driving into the location. 10/10

This was sick a great set up for us! My extended family booked all three sites, and we used the field for many games of croquet and frisbee. The sites had plenty of space between then, but wouldn't necessarily have felt private if we were sharing the space with strangers. Porta potty was clean, and running water is always helpful. Will likely go back!

Really awesome campsite Everything is well thought out and available. Owners were friendly and responsive We stayed at the the deck site Water and power available and the site was close close to the hot tub Our 4 year old had the time of his life running around the trails. Kayak and paddle board friendly my kid saw jelly fish and crabs and is still talking about it. Also good cell reception just far enough from civilization.

Had a wonderful stay at the deck site in our trailer. Quiet, peaceful and very private. Plenty of room for our dog to play. We have done a lot of camping over the years and this is one of the best places we have stayed. Jake and Molly are great hosts. This was very convenient for us as our son and daughter in law live very close to this site. Hope to come back soon!

This was our first time using Hipcamp, and the camping spot was absolutely magical. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s so clean and quiet, with a delightful hot tub and a warm shower—perfect after a long day outdoors. The hosts were very helpful, providing great local suggestions, like where to pick up firewood. I really wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend, and we hope to have the chance to stay again. Thanks again Molly & Jake!

The camp is set up perfectly for our RV weekend trip. The deck platform and furniture along with tree swing were added bonuses to our stay. The solar lighting and big fire pit were also great. There are four other tent camp sites all visible but far enough away that we forgot they were there. The view from the deck is also lovely along with the trails. We didn’t use the hot tub but other guests did. The hot tub is also very visible to the camp site deck and fire pit. Our host checked in on Saturday which was very nice along with their dog and his daughter. We highly recommend - also great trails within a short drive and restaurants and grocery all within 10 minutes of you need something.

Been camping through Hipcamp for a while and this is a site we certainly anticipate returning to. Our host, Jake, was very friendly and accommodating. We had plenty of space to stake down our gear and easy access to the bathroom and cozy hottub set up. Recommended for a chill truly laid back experience 👍🏼

Loved that Molly came down to greet us and introduce us to her lil boy and 3 sweet dogs. We had planned to stay 3 days but truck issues only allowed us our last day, to spend the night. They were so sweet to reimburse us 1 night of our stay even though it wasn't their fault we couldn't make it. We had the whole meadow to ourselves. We picked blackberries for breakfast the next day. The open sky and full moon was amazing. Driveway was a little iffy, but would definitely recommend.

The meadow that locates the camp is ample & beautiful. I really appreciated the ‘natural’ shower & it’s welcome hot water albeit short bursts. Our stay was comfortable in our cabover camper. Our two dogs had plenty of room to run. Campsites our close & people were friendly.

The campsite is mostly clean and spacious. Only 2 hour drive, with traffic, from seattle area, making it a great choice for a weekend trip. One major issue I had was the bathroom. I booked this campsite specifically because of the incinerated toilet. Turns out, there was only one porta potty for the four sites. I would not have booked it if I knew. The water also ran a little yellow. The host did respond quickly and offered another water source outside of their shop. We didn’t prepare containers to store water, and didn’t want to make the trip every time we need water. So we ended up buying water from a grocery store. The listing is otherwise accurate.

Our stay was serene and lovely. The meadow is quiet and the sites have plenty of room to be comfortable with a good distance of privacy between other campers. Also lots of space for our dog. You can light a tiki torch for extra illumination. The propane-heated shower was a welcome touch. They provide organic soap and shampoo. Jake and Molly were very quick to answer any questions or messages through the app. It’s a friendly, peaceful site and I’d certainly visit again.

Loved it! The sites are mostly level, large and the area is quiet. The picnic table on our site had been stained and was in nice shape. The fire pit was a good size and a bucket to hold water is provided for safety. There were also a couple of tiki torches. We didn’t use the hot tub but another couple did. We will stay here again, we have actually already booked our next stay!

Loved the little gnomes and fairies hidden everywhere. Kids would love this place. Sweetest dog. Description looked like host home was super close. Host home is in view but pretty far away. You will have plenty of space and privacy . Nice hot shower . 10/10 host very nice. Games on site . Beautiful sitting area to look out over the water .

We enjoyed camping/glamping at this spot for 3 nights even though it rained the first night and next day. Since it was wet and gray out, we went to the Olympus Korean ladies spa in Tacoma. Then had amazing Korean food near there. Hot tub, hot outdoor shower, running water and clean Porto potty. Good to see the potty serviced during our stay as it was getting use. Nice big deck with out door living room, big swing, and fire circle. Had trouble getting the hot tub hot enough on our last morning. Hosts were very responsive.

Our family truly enjoyed camping at Jake and Molly’s. The campsite was excellent, with enough space for our two large tents. Our kids had a great time on the trails, and we appreciated all the amenities. Jake was fantastic - he checked in on us and even fixed the string lights. Our dogs had a wonderful time too. We highly recommend a stay at Jake and Molly's.!
