Cool farm, friendly hosts!

This was a neat spot. Very cool to see all the animals and the hosts were very kind. Hook ups were reliable and ground in this specific site was level enough to only need one small block on one back tire.
Note for anyone visiting, this is a working farm, and when there is not camping in the pasture it’s used for animals. Poop was everywhere, like every 10 (or less) steps there would be poop. It’s alpaca and goat so it’s not wet or gross, but you’ll want to bring some boots if you plan to walk around the field much - definitely not a place for bare feet.
Would stay again, and keep this in mind for the future.

It was a lovely place to rest our heads for the night. Our hosts were so welcoming, had hookups for our RV, and gave our kids the barn tour in the morning. They have so many lovely critters, it was an absolute blast!

Great jumping off point for so many activities in the area. Quiet and peaceful farm, large open field to park in, animals to visit with and rolling hills to enjoy under the evening sky. Be sure to take advantage of all the extras offered like the bread! And don’t forget some butter. We will definitely come here again

Daughter's First Camping Experience

Kandi and Mark were the absolute best hosts. I chose their place for my Daughter's first camping experience thinking the animals and nearby hikes would keep her busy. And it was even better than I hoped.
I recommend the farm tour whether you're going with kids or not. The alpacas are a highlight but there is a ton more to see and learn about. Kandi was eager to answer any questions we had. And both hosts are amazingly patient and good with kids.
The alpacas are very gentle and friendly. So order the alpaca snacks but don't forget about snacks for yourself (she bakes wonderful cookies)!
I highly recommend visiting. We'll certainly be back.

The farm animals were great

Tent site is grassy field. Other campers on field but not close at all. Porta potty and pump sink. Both the sourdough and the Carmel bars were amazing! Reccomend for a beautiful location and cute animals. One of the cats joined me in my tent for an hour.

We had an amazing stay! The property was peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for a family getaway. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Our kids had so much fun watching the animals—especially getting to see the goats give birth and spending time near the llamas. It was such a unique and memorable experience for all of us. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly spot with a special touch of farm life!

This place was one of the most welcoming and beautiful places I have camped. Although we didn’t spend much time at the farm it was everything and some more. Mark greeted us with a basket of carrots to feed the animals and a tour of the farm. A very welcoming campsite and will definitely be staying here again for any future stays in the area!

We camped at Green Apple Alpacas in our rental van. Kandi was very communicative in advance of our stay. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Kandi's daughter with our pre-ordered salted caramel bars and sourdough bread. My kids excitedly claimed the salted caramel bars tasted just like Crumbl cookies! Kandi's daughter showed us around the around the barn area and garden and told us about the quirks/personalities of the alpacas, llamas, goats, sheep and chickens. Despite her letting us know that alpacas are not very sociable, my daughter kept trying to make friends with one of them that hung out by the fence with no luck! Cute place to stay for a farm experience!

Green Apple Alpaca's was a charming place to tent camp! The hosts were responsive and helpful. It rained while we were there, but we were prepared with a canopy, and we spent a lovely evening tucked away by the propane fire, watching a bald eagle hunt the fields below.
We ordered alpaca food as an extra, and my daughter had a wonderful time feeding the alpacas and sheep.

My family has been to Green Apple Alpacas multiple times. My seven year old loves joining the owners, Kandi and Mark to feed the animals and collect eggs. It’s especially rewarding when the ducks egg their eggs in the garden.
The owners are very affectionate and knowledgeable about their animals. Every time I enjoy something new in the garden like picking cherries or admiring towering sunflowers. We’ve come home with pumpkins, catmint and veggies.
We were very lucky to be at the farm when Clover, the sheep, gave birth to her first lamb.
I love having the stove and frig available. They also have propane fire pits available to rent.
Be sure to ask Kandi about her classes like soap making and sour dough bread. (And her salted Carmel butter bars!)

This was our first experience with staying on someone’s land. We had an amazing time at the farm! Loved the tour and watching daily life of the farm animals. On our last night we got to see hot air balloons flying over. Definitely a 10/10 experience! Would stay again and recommend the stay to everyone!

Friendly hosts who were gracious and shared their animal families with us. Wide open area to park RV with a nice view. Preference was to be in the field and enjoy the animals as opposed to hook ups near the house. Easy access, good experience. Would definitely go back again.

This was a lovely place for us to camp after attending a concert at White River Amphitheater. Super friendly hosts who helped us get to and from the show. It was quiet and peaceful. Would love to stay again and have time to feed the Alpacas🙂

We stayed at this property for several nights. The owners are very nice and responsive. The property is beautifully maintained and the alpacas and other animals are fun to see. We added the salted caramel butter bars to our stay. Oh man, soooo yummy! We highly recommend those!

We booked two sites for three families with kids and had a wonderful experience. Touring the farm was a highlight — the children loved seeing the adorable animals, including alpacas, llamas, ducks, chickens, and goats. The host was very welcoming, allowing us to prepare food for the alpacas and llamas while explaining their unique personalities.
We watched the chickens roaming in their custom trunnel and check on their eggs, fed snacks to the goats, and observed the ducks waddling around their home. There were also bunnies and quails, and we purchased some fresh chicken and quail eggs for the kids to enjoy.
Our campsite was right next to the alpaca and llama enclosure, which made for a fun and engaging setting. The area was open and spacious—perfect for kids to run around—though tent campers should note that there’s limited shade and privacy.
The alpacas and lamas even seemed amused watching the kids play with water balls and blasters! Nearby trails offer more to explore, and the surrounding neighborhood is very quiet. We also spotted hot air balloons in the sky, which added to the charm.
Each site had a water hookup, electricity, and 1 access to a clean portable toilet near the farm. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay for everyone.

Aside from the pure beauty of the Alpacas themselves, what stood out to me by far was the kindness and flexibility of the hosts. Their graciousness and understanding went well above anything that one commonly finds anymore.
The property is well kept, quiet, peaceful and more than pleasant. While I wasn't able to attend any of the offered attractions this time, I will definitely be back for another stay and allow time for some of their offered perks.

This was such a fun trip for my wife, our dog and I to start our camping season off right. I got to walk an Alpaca! We met all of the animals on the farm, which included feedings and seeing their personalities. Kandi and Mark even allowed us to let our dog run off leash in one of the empty pastures to get his energy out. He loved all the new smells and we loved all the treats from right there. Thank you for opening your farm to hipcamp users like us for something unique.

This is a great camping spot: beautiful, roomy with friendly, hospitable hosts. We had a wonderful time there. We were there for 6 nights in our 29ft travel trailer. Our grandchildren came to visits and got to meet the alpacas, sheep and chickens and feed carrots to those that eat them- they had a fun time!! Kandi and Mark were extremely helpful throughout our stay.
One note- if you’re coming in a longer rig, coming up the street to turn onto their property from the South has much more space to make the turn than from the North.

We had a wonderful time at the alpaca farm with my kids! Mark and Candy’s property is absolutely beautiful, and the alpacas—especially Skippy—were hilarious. It was the perfect little staycation during spring break, and it truly felt like we were disconnected from everything.
We also picked up some of their homemade goodies—the chocolate chip cookies were devoured by my kids in no time, and the sourdough bread and fresh farm eggs were absolutely A+. I couldn't recommend this spot enough, and I’d gladly return in the future.

My family absolutely loved camping out on Kandi & Marks farm! They were so friendly, accommodating, and great with my 2 young children. All of the animals on the farm were great and Levi the goat is so friendly and sweet we all agreed that we will have to come back to see him! We had fresh chicken, duck, quail, and goose eggs and fresh baked sourdough bread which was such a treat!

Kandi and Mark were great hosts! We enjoyed the farm tour and they offered our kids to help feed the animals in the morning. They were also great when we discovered a nail in our tire just before leaving, requiring us to run to a tire shop to get it fixed, delaying our departure. They were very understandable and easy to work with. We would highly recommend staying here and would come back again.
