1.5 acre plot located west of Port Townsend near Cape George and Discovery Trail. This forest meadow is a peaceful, private spot to rest and relax when you are not having adventures on the Olympic Peninsula. Perfect for RVs, Camper Trailers, Vans, and Tents! The entire property is rented as a single camp site, so there is maximum privacy and solitude compared to a multi-site venue like Ft Worden State Park. Green Acre Camp is located in a semi-residential, semi-rural area of unincorporated Port Townsend, only 10-15 min drive to main restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions of downtown Port Townsend. RV power pedestal with 30a, 50a, and standard 20a/120v plugs. Pack-in, Pack-out; there is no toilet, sink, or shower. Large vehicles/trailers/5th wheels are welcome! Enter the property on private dirt road connected to Hastings Ave and you may park anywhere in the upper field immediately on left when you enter the driveway. There is a locked shed that houses the well pump, and you can use the water spigot and hose. Water is potable lab tested. Property is shaped like a triangle with Hastings Ave. There is tree cover along Hastings and shared driveway at bottom edge of the triangle. As you continue down the driveway a few hundred yards, you approach neighbor's fence and property line. Main camp site is the “upper field” where there is room for parking and power/water connections. This is conveniently level with the main road and flat. There is “lower field” that is a trimmed grass field right corner next to the driveway, Finally the “back field” is large, grass field and a fire ring across the northern half of the property. The back field has an unused septic system underground, so we leave the grass and vegetation longer here to attract wildlife and preserve the infrastructure for potential future use. No vehicles allowed in back field. In the middle of the property is a grove of pine and cedar trees with thick, native salal bushes and rhododendrons crisscrossed with paths created by humans and the local deer population. Driveway is shared by neighboring property so wave and smile if our neighbors walk or drive out to the main road, and please be respectful of their property line and follow the local culture of 'live and let live'.1.5 acre sparsely forested meadow with power connections, running water, and large flat field for your tent, trailer, or RV. 50a, 30a, and 20a (120v) electricity connections on power pedestal and running water. Nice place to stretch your legs and unwind! The dogs appreciated the extra wiggle room. Only 8-10 mins into the heart of Port Townsend. As noted in the reviews before, the RV spit is right off the road and there is noise but we didn’t find it to be an issue.

Beautiful spot amongst the trees to camp. Only downside is you are right off of a well travelled road so you do hear vehicles going by pretty consistently. Lots of room to play fetch with the dog - he loved it! If you are in a trailer (like us) could only park at the site closest to the road because the lower area was blocked off with logs. Water and power worked flawlessly. Even with the road noise, it’s sooo much better than a campground cause you have the whole space to yourself!!! Even got to see an owl!! Would definitely stay here again.

Nice little campsite surrounded by beautiful trees. Our only complaint was the road noise- the road is very close, but fortunately no Jake brakes or anything too loud. Just cars driving past.

Great spot! Kids loved running around the little trails and felt very private. Great place to homebase while exploring Port Townsend. Tim was very nice and flexible with our schedule.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Stay! We stayed at Green Acre Campground for two nights and had a great experience. The campground is nicely secluded, making it a peaceful getaway, though it is located off a busy road. One thing to note—AT&T and Verizon didn’t have any service during our stay, so definitely download your movies or shows beforehand if you plan on relaxing with some entertainment. It’s a short drive into town where you’ll find everything you need—Safeway, QFC, McDonald’s, gas stations, and some great local parks. The campsite itself was beautiful, with plenty of deer roaming through the area, which made for a really cool experience. Overall, a great place to unplug and enjoy nature.

It was very hard to identify the site. The fire pit was in a very different location than where we parked. The hook up is not working. It was right next to the road so we did hear a road noise all night. It is a beautiful area, but the amenities were slight.

We had a wonderful time! Plenty of space for the dog to run around. Short drive to Port Townsend. It is close to a road but it wasn't a busy road. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, ravens flying around, and deer wondering into the camp. Definitly will be back!

Easy spot for exploring PT

Green Acres was a solid, no frills landing spot for exploring Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula. Having electrical hookup was great for charging devices, though cell service was pretty spotty/nonexistent for me (AT&T). Just a heads up for those who may want to unwind with a movie or something after a day of exploring, be sure to download to your device first if you have AT&T! No toilet so pack in/out but the picnic table was super handy. Property is lovely, there's a nice firepit in the back area that feels more secluded than the parking spot. All in all, I would stay again!

This was a great spot! Easy to navigate and close to Port Townsend and Sequim. We stayed for a long weekend and it was quiet, peaceful, and an overall great experience! We will be back.

Tim's place was was exactly what i was looking for: power hook ups, water, hidden from the road and people, nice leveled out land and lots of trees all around. We were even greeted by the local deer. I would absolutely work with Tim again, next time I take my RV out to Port Townsend.

I would definitely recommend Green Acres! It was very convenient to Port Townsend which was great for me because I missed the ferry and needed a quick place to overnight ;-) They have created a well kept green space with amenities and it is very private. 💚

Our stay at Tim’s Green Acre was amazing! We have a 35’ fifth wheel and had plenty of room and electric and water hookups. Quiet wooded location with lots of privacy, close to town. The trailhead is about 2 miles away and we rode our e-bikes to Port Townsend. Wonderful spot that we will stay at again!

Tim was nice enough to allow our friends to join us for a night who were coincidentally in that area after we arrived and there were no other sites available for them because the Wooden Boat Festival was going on. Always more fun to camp with friends!!! Thanks Tim.

it is fairly private (close to the Main road but not super visable form site ) and a good location for a home base while exploring. Hook ups where nice and the site was clean.

Beautiful property. Fairly private minus the road noise. Bring ear plugs. But definitely recommend if you need space to yourself. Nice fire pit and sweet little forest. Water and electric. Everything’s close by. Port Townsend is beautiful.
