Hey All - Our plans changed and we were not able to camp out at Aaron's land. With that said, Aaron's communication regarding our plan change was excellent. High recommendation based on his excellent communication. Thanks Aaron.
Fantastic communication from the owner. Super convenient location. We did tent camp so I would recommend taking a pad or cots with but the place was super clean, allowed my well behaved dogs and a lovely fire pit area and lovely property. We will absolutely request to stay here again.
As a tent camper we had two nice, flat areas to set up our tents to choose from. One was on a secluded space behind the building that has the bathroom, shower and laundry (don't worry, its a septic tank system so no smells, also not very loud). This spot was under the tree canopy. The other area was grass covered and could see the stars. Both could fit a large tent comfortably. The fire pit was next to the picnic table with a bunch of firewood under a tarp, we only used a few pieces and bought most of our firewood from the local gas station down the street. The proximity of the property to the main road, N. Cascades Hwy . Rt.20, is why I can't recommend this site for tent camping. If you have an RV it would be better. Also the driveway is on a curve that can be difficult to get out of. There is almost always some traffic going by throughout the night. To really feel like your camping, you need to have only the sounds of nature around you.
The host, Aaron, was helpful and friendly and respectful of our privacy. The location is minutes from Oak Harbor and Anacortes and just down the road from Deception Pass. Ideally located if you want to explore the area.
The on-site laundry/bath building, in addition to full hookups for water/electric/sewer, pushes this location above its peers at this price point. It's an excellent value and we would stay here again.

Campsite was as advertised and in a great location. Aaron was flexible on our arrival time and responsive in the app.
The space was perfect for our campervan. Easy to back into, great electrical hookups (20,30,50 amp options with new panel and plugs), and a super clean and modern bathroom house. I’d recommend.

We didn't end up staying as the idea was to tent camp and the noise along the highway would have kept us up. I should have read the description and past review more carefully. Getting in and out of the drive way on such a busy road was nerve wracking for me, but I am not used to very busy roads. Aaron was very attentive over the phone.

Aaron's place is a really convenient spot for accessing Anacortes and Whidbey Island. He made a very nice bathhouse that includes a washer and dryer, which was great! The camping area itself is nice, big trees, nice shade, and a level pad. There are two things folks might want to know that make it a little tricky. One is that it's on a blind curve of a very busy, 55mph road, which made it a little scary to pull out when we left and that gives 24/7 road noise. Also, there is a berm that runs alongside the camping pad, which could be tricky if folks had limited mobility. None of these were issues for us. We stayed about 2 weeks and really enjoyed the privacy and convenience!

Aaron’s land was great! It was very easy to level our trailer (a rarity). The hookups worked without issue (also a rarity). Aaron met us when we arrived and helped us back into the spot. He’s a very good host and it’s clear he wants his guests to enjoy the land.
The land was beautiful. The trees were wonderful and huge! The bathhouse was a nice addition. We didn’t use the laundry or shower facilities but it’s nice to have them. Site A has a steepish slope on the driver’s side, so do what you need to do for hookups before extending a slide.
The only negative (completely out of Aaron’s control) is the road noise. Highway 20 is close to the sites, and the traffic is constant, even overnight. Our trailer has some issues with insulation anyway, so the sound may not be bothersome to others. We were there over the July 4 holiday, which probably contributed to the traffic.
The location is perfect for accessing so many amazing places. It’s very close to Deception Pass State Park.
