The location and beach are very beautiful. This camping spot has a work in progress feel though. There is a lot of work happening on the property and equipment and tools related to that and possibly other projects laying around. Also the single porta potty is pretty rough. The spot at the top of the hill has a nice view. The location is great for exploring. The beach front tent sites looked pretty cool but again, you're stepping over debris, tools an old tire etc to get there. If the work finishes up and the junk gets out of eyesite it could be amazing.

Beautiful place……we walked the beach and nearby river. A curious harbor seal followed us off shore popping up and looking at us. Watched a cruise ship go by and the fog bank settle on the Canadian Vancouver shore across the strait.

The property is directly on the shoreline of the Strait of Juan de Fuca….beautiful! Site 2 is spacious. Harrison gave us some fresh eggs from his coop…tasty. He also gave me sound advice to launch from the river channel with my sea kayak to get through the surf zone more easily. We saw seals and a sea otter from shore. A little piece of “heaven!”

Tent spot 1 was perfect for a rooftop tent! A couple of sandy places next to the beach would work for a standard. The host came up to us after a bit for the check in, and told us it was good to drive down on the sand. We will likely be back! The sound of the waves of the background knocked us out so good. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful little slice of beach. The 3 RV sites are on a grassy area between 3 cottages and several larger outbuildings. There is no privacy between sites, but it is a pleasant property with beautiful trees and a view of the strait from RV2 as it is the highest spot on the slope. It is also the spot closest to the highway, perhaps 50-ft from the lane, separated by a narrow row of trees. Along this part of the strait, it is very difficult to find places to camp that are not right next to the highway...look at Google maps to see what I mean. So given that, this was one of the better options. Still, we were awakened by the noise of cars/trucks whooshing by in the early morning. But the beach is GORGEOUS. We had a wonderful time there. We did not meet the owners, but the man doing property maintenance was very helpful. Our biggest concern was the water which we chose not to use. Every time we turned it on, it put out A LOT of rust and seemed cloudy. We were afraid it might plug up our filter. We had plenty of our own water, so not a problem to us. So all in all, some really nice things here and some not so nice. We found Eagles Nest to be a good basecamp from which to have some wonderful adventures in the area. And it looks like the owners are making improvements on the property in terms of clearing additional areas. I think it's a work in progress and we will probably return to see how things are going next year.

I loved beach camping at Eagles Nest! Close to many popular hiking spots. So beautiful to watch the sunrise even bio luminescent waves at night. Had an amazing time with great company. I would definitely come again!

We loved tent camping right on a very private beach! Falling asleep with the waves was amazing. Great spot and handy to stop at when going to Cape Flattery!

Excellent spot!! Loved camping right on the beach and being able to park close by. Hosts were lovely and informative. It was perfect for me and my two dogs, we had the whole beach to ourselves, even on a holiday weekend! I’ll definitely be back again soon!!

A nice space and the privacy is a plus if you have dogs. The owner was very nice and allowed us to stay later. It is a little bit expensive for no sewage or wifi but its great theres an extra option when everything is reserved in the town and you need water.

Not a crowded site, grassy, very clean area, just steps from the beach, short drive to restaurants, a very unique collection of bird sounds to wake up to (not including the rooster crowing!). Yes, chickens are near and sometimes running free but quite amusing to watch. I totally appreciated the access to water and power. Would camp at Eagle’s Nest again.

Nice clean campground! Harrison, the host, was very friendly and helpful! My campsite was perfect, right "on" the beach with the views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Vancouver Island. The toilet was clean too! I will be back and maybe even stay in one of the lovely "cabins"! Thanks for hosting!

We had a great stay at Eagle's Nest. When we arrived we were greeted by the host and a half dozen eggs. In the spot we were in (RV1) we were able to park our trailer so that we had a peekaboo view of Vancouver Island and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
From Eagle's nest we had a short drive to Neah Bay and Ozette Lake. It was great to come back to our shaded spot to relax or to take a short walk and sit on the beach.

Beachfront Tent Site 1
Absolutely beautiful beachfront tent site. You can see Canada on the other side when the fog clears.. this has been one of my favorite campsites where you can car camp on the beach. There is a porta potty available and a cute little chicken coop. Potable water spigots are also available at multiple sites. My toddler enjoyed this camping very much as he was able to play freely in the beach that felt like a private beach, and he also enjoyed watching the chickens. We will be back for sure. In addition the beachfront tent site is only 20 minutes from the Makah cultural center and around 40 minutes from the Cape flattery trailhead.
