Del Rosario Family Vineyard

We had a great visit on Renato’s land. It was so beautiful and we had the place to ourselves! We did a wine tasting with Renato and his wine is delicious! It was wonderful hearing the story of his winery and learn about his love for wine making. Our dogs had so much fun playing fetch on our site. The spots are huge with plenty of room for pets and kids to run around and explore! Beautiful views of the valley to wake up to. Thank you for hosting us Renato!

We had such a wonderful time at Renato’s place! A gracious host, fantastic wine, and amazing views. We are already talking about coming back in the spring. Highly recommend if you have dogs and love having more space to relax!

We had a good experience, staying one night. Renato met us and made sure we were set up at the correct site. We had 30 amp power, and water was still available in mid November. We appreciated being permitted to let our dogs run off leash. Before leaving the next morning we droive up to the tasting room to use the bathroom, which was warm and very clean. The scenery in the cliff lined coulee is dramatic.

Lovely spot off the beaten path

This is a lovely spot with the view of the canyons and vineyard. We chose site 4 as it was more remote than the sites with electrical that are closer to the road. So we had no services but the ports potty was clean and convenient. You really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere in cool off the grid way yet its not hard to get to and Renee was so kind with a wine tasting and telling us about his organic wines. Very fun!

Renato’s spot is fantastic for a group! We had the whole space to ourselves and he was a wonderful host. You can’t miss wine tasting and hearing about the property Renato has built. The views were also incredible and worth the drive from Seattle.

Amazing experience!

Overall a great experience, and would recommend to anyone. The campsite was remote, and quiet even with other campers around. Renato was an incredible host, and checked in regularly to make sure we had what we needed. If you like wine tasting, that was an awesome perk as well. The campsite was spacious, plenty big for a large or small group. Lots to do within an hour of the campsite location. I will definitely be coming back!

Great stargazing spot

We had an amazing camping experience! The campsite was spacious and well-maintained, giving us plenty of room to relax. The host was very friendly and welcoming. One of the highlights was the incredible stargazing. The night sky was crystal clear, and we spotted countless stars, several satellites, and even a few shooting stars. It was a perfect spot for anyone who loves the outdoors and a stunning night sky. Highly recommend!

Camping with vineyard view

We loved camping on Renato’s land! The surrounding gorge area is stunning, and we had such fun visiting the wine tasting room and learning more about the history of Del Rosario wines. The camping site itself overlooks the vineyard, the port a potty is very clean, and the area is super quiet. We would definitely camp here again.

We loved tent camping on Renato's land, each spot has a table and hose with well water, they were very spacious spots, and very minimal bugs. We went up to the tasting room and learned all about his wine making and the history of his vineyard . All of the wines we tried were great and we bought a bottle to take home. Highly recommend!

Great stay at DZEL

Renato was a fabulous host and we loved staying at the Del Rosario Winery! We rolled in quite late due to an unexpected highway detour and he still came down to greet us and show us where to set up (we actually ended up getting our pick of the sites). We stayed in site 3 and it was great - grassy and flat and close to the (very clean) portable toilet. All the sites seemed very spacious and had easily accessible potable water. We left in the morning to find Douglas Creek, but came back to taste wine in the afternoon and had a great chat. The wine tasting room itself is very cool (literally - it is a refreshing temp :)) and also very nice inside - we left with three bottles of wine! At night we heard the coyotes howling across the canyon - we loved it, but just be warned that they can be loud! - wish we could have stayed longer.

Very rustic camping with beautiful views. The camp sites are large and in a field in the middle of valley with breathtaking basalt cliffs surrounding. The sites are quiet, some are serviced with power and water, but that’s about it.

Really unique and cool place to stay. The wine was delicious. The grounds are beautiful. The night sky it was incredible. falling asleep to the sound of crickets and coyotes. Always a fun way to spend your evening would definitely come again.

A hidden gem

I wish we could’ve stayed for more than one night at Renato’s farm! The site was very quiet and we were able to see the stars well at night. He accommodated us the following morning to a delicious tasting in a stucco tasting room that he built himself. The wines had a nice minerality to them, and we purchased a couple of bottles. Highly recommended if you are a fan of red wine wines and/or stargazing 🔭 🍷

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Renato’s vineyard in Palisades, WA. From the moment we arrived, Renato was a warm and welcoming host who made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was a wine tasting featuring selections from his own vineyard — a truly unique experience made even more memorable by hearing Renato's fascinating personal story. The campground itself is beautifully nestled in a scenic canyon, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting. We appreciated the convenient power and water hook-ups, and the entire area was spacious, clean, and very well maintained. Such a beautiful canyon! Verizon service was spotty so take screenshots before you get there. Porta potty was spotless. As a solo camper I felt safe here.

Wine and camping!

So, let me begin with the view…AMAZING! The drive in was breathtaking. The spots give you space between any other campers. Like lot of space. Yes, you must go to the winery. The way Renato shares about the wines, his story and the land. You are transported to a magical place. The wine is also unique- just go. If you want to go into town, just a short drive. You want to explore there are trails. We clearly had not been camping in a while and forgot our converter for the electric plug in. We didn’t have a camper, we were tenting it. We had our mattress to inflate. Rookie move. If you are familiar with the eastern part of the state, you know it can get breezy - made it for a comedy or errors putting up tent. Lots of bonding. The nights were amazing we didn’t put our rain covers on and just slept under the stars. Renato was a very good host. Just like you have read he is there to greet you and give the lay of the land. We went to tasting room twice. Just as much for the wine as for his stories and learning more about wine. No matter of camping level, great get away. You just have to see it to believe it.
