A beautiful water side view. So fun to see the ships pass. Nice and private with only one spot. Plenty of space for our dogs to play.

Really cool spot! Very private - we stayed on a Saturday and the entire time had maybe 3 cars drive pass by and there’s no other houses nearby or across the river so you truly feel private but safe. Beautiful surroundings and the site itself was spacious. Watching the ships pass by was the best part and I read some complaints about the tower but we thought it was cool and added to the unique vibe of the area. Would most definitely return!

This is our second stay. Very beautiful quiet spot by the river. No neighbors. Our Dog was happy to be off-leash. The host is very responsive.

Great location along the river. Boat watching was really fun. We had campfires each day which was awesome. The power tower was much closer to the site than was apparent from the ad but luckily it is mostly blocked by trees. Great that there is both sun and shade at the site. Not much nearby so plan ahead for supplies you will need. Overall a very good experience! Thanks!!

Was the best place so far... be prepared for the wind with the changing tides. Was amazing to see all the ships and stern wheel. We had the best thunder and lightning show ever. Caught a few fish. We will be staying again next summer.

Very relaxing place right on the river ,you have it all to yourself ,no close Neighbors. Bring an extra hundred foot of power cord so you can put your trailer down close to the water. We had a wonderful time!

The site is very private and quiet. When you arrive you might think WTH, but there is a nice little camping area off to the side. We had no problem backing in an RV. Only complaint might be the mosquitos.
The nights were full of stars. So overall, a nice quiet spot and we enjoyed our stay.

This a unique campsite that caters to virtually any kind of camper. We enjoyed several days nestled in the lower area along the river sheltered somewhat by the trees from the wind. And we had a lot of it!
Watching all the ships and boats go by was enjoyable. This campsite may not have a lot of street appeal but it’s deceiving. There is an rv pullout with electric power just off to the road as well. The road has more farm tractor traffic than cars, which makes it nice for taking a walk. The power line tower didn’t bother us and we will be going back. Nikki is a welcoming host who checked in on us via text to make sure we were comfortable.

Very peaceful and beautiful site. We enjoyed watching the ships go by. Also rode our bikes on the quiet farm roads. Ran an extension cord down from the pole above so our rv could be by the fire. Will definitely go back!

Such a private and quiet spot! We loved sitting there waiting for the ships to go by. With an extension cord we bought power down from the pole above for our rv. Rode our bikes on the quiet roads. Going back for sure!

We stayed at this site with two trucks/slide-in campers. They easily cleared under the power tower and we had no problems with the river breaching the shore in our stay down in the site. If you have a trailer/car camping/truck set up, you should be fine at least in the Summer down by the river. Even though it rained most of our stay, it was so beautiful & cool to see all the ships! Lots of bird watching too. We took walks on the road with our dogs and rarely saw any cars. Overall a lovely time, we would stay again!

A very beautiful, view with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. A lot of options for sunny or shady spots. Excellent camping spot as long as you check and know how to read the tide tables. Long lines or voice control over dogs is advised as there are birds and deer galore, or if you have a Lab that refuses to stay out of the water. Can't beat the views of the Columbia or the sights and sounds of eagles soaring overhead. First night really windy and not fun for tent campers. Our pop tent was really noisy but the second night was perfect. Not as much marine traffic as I expected. Boats and ships are a novelty for our dogs, but having grown up on the island, it was very nostalgic for me. Jetty rocks were a little challenging but my young Lab didn't let that stop him from taking several swims. My older Lab kindly asked some fishermen to move along and not block her view 😂

Beautiful site. Right under a power tower... but stunning views of the river and the passing ships. Little windy in late May so if you plan to go in the spring, be sure to bring an extra layer and maybe some rain gear. All in all, loved the sight.

We had a wonderful time at this hip camp. So peaceful! You have to go under the electrical tower to get to the site which was easy with our Truck camper. It was an amazing rainy weekend but we had a great time. FYI only has an electrical hookup on the road so bring an long extention cord if you want to be by the river.

We had fun camping next to the River and watching the ships go by, then looking them up to see where they're going/where they've been. Lots of great birding too, warblers, Bewick's Wren, Osprey, Eagles, etc. As others have said, you're near the road, but there's very little traffic. It felt private, had plenty of room. I did see that one reviewer found the site flooded, so maybe not a good winter spot. A little investment/improvement would be nice for the price, the "table", which is a pallet nailed to a stump, is falling apart. A picnic table, and bathroom would be awesome! Still very cool piece of property, was glad we got to check it out.

After spending a quick night out in the fresh air, I fully plan on going back here again. It is a beautiful site with a lot of solitude, and is the perfect place to relax, launch SUPs or canoes, and enjoy the stars. As long as you understand that there are no amenities and have the necessary gear, you won’t be disappointed.

Quiet spot near the river. Enjoyed watching the big boats go by and listening to the seals as they popped up. We settled down by the water for the evening - then moved to the higher spot to sleep to avoid high tides.

Camping on this land with our friends was the perfect place to reminisce. We had just one day of really cool, fall windy weather, but the others were good for watching the river traffic, fishing attempts, and just visiting around the campfire. There is what appears to be a power tower that connects across the river which may or may not be a concern to some people.

Love this site. Right by the river with a beautiful view. We saw a seal in the river and the kids loved it. This is definitely one of our favorite spots.
It can get rather humid and cold at night in late August being next to the river so prepare for that.
