Fully fenced Mt. Rainier view property. Dog and horse friendly. There are working dogs you will see and have jobs. Please leash and pick up. There is a full game room for your enjoyment and free wifi. Both sites are full RV sites with 50 amp, water, sewer. We have 42' RV available for rental as well that is across from the site, there may be tenants staying there during your stay. We are the doorstep to Mt. Rainier and all of its' glory. Less than an hours drive from Crystal Mountain Resort. Located at the top of Carbon Canyon we have endless trails for hiking, horse riding, and motor sports. Feel free to bring your toys and you can drive right off the property. You will be staying in a rural area with open pasture and a beautiful walking trail nearby. A little about Orting - Nestled in the foothills of Mt Rainier between the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers, Orting is a quaint Turn-of-the-Century village that you will not forget. The town center is anchored by three parks filled with giant maples and evergreens. You will be awed by the view of Mt. Rainier from Washington Avenue. The levees on the east and west sides of town are perfect for hikes along the rivers. The 20 mile Foothills Trail meanders right through the middle of town and then takes you along the Carbon River levee. Bike, walk, take the stroller and the family pet. Enjoy the turn-of-the-century architecture of downtown and eat at one of the 15 restaurants. If your timing is right you can take part in the Daffodil festival and parade the first Saturday of April. The Kingsmen Car show comes to town the third Saturday in June. Then there is the Pumpkin festival the second weekend of October. Finally the year is capped off with the Christmas festival throughout December. Then there are the many foot and bike races that take place on the foothills trail throughout the year. PLEASE NOTE: 24 hour advanced notice on early arrivals mandatory as we work. We will always try to accommodate but cannot guarantee. Len and Kimberly were great hosts, very welcoming and friendly. I really enjoying getting to spend time on their property and getting to see some brand new baby goats born the week I stayed there! The property itself is quiet, with plenty of space to enjoy yourself. The RV spot is level and easy to access full hookups. The location is great - it’s a short drive to Orting - such and adorable town. I loved staying here and hope to get back again soon!

Beautiful property in a quiet, relaxing area. We awoke to the quiet bleating of the sweet little goats, beautiful sunrise, and fresh air. The spot was fairly level and the water, electricity, and septic hookups were close by and easy to access. We saw multiple deer and the goats are just precious. The owners came by to check on us and they are super nice. We loved staying here and look forward to staying again next year.

Up in the hills with a lot of wildlife around. The campsite itself is pretty flat. away from everybody and everything. Did not have to worry about having a neighbor ten feet away. I would recommend it to anybody that is not scared of wildlife.

Loved our visit! It was beautiful and serene! Hosts are wonderful! Space is well kept and spacious. There is a on site camper for rent as well which would be a nice way to have family/friends stay. If going during the sunny/warm season, bring a canopy or large sun umbrella for extra shade.

I stayed for 6 weeks and absolutely loved it. Len and kimberly we're very good hosts. I love seeing all the deer. The space was very roomy and relaxing. If you do not like Tight places and enjoy wildlife. This is the place to be. There is also a game room and pool table. Plenty of hiking trails around the area. It would stay there again no problem

The good: the hosts were very responsive and friendly, showed us around the site, and fixed a backed-up water issue with the RV we rented. No issues with them at all! The bad: my wife got stung by a wasp on our first night there inside the RV we rented, and through the next two days we found and killed 4 additional wasps crawling around inside the RV at various points. We didn't see any wasps outside the RV or on the grounds at any point (too early in the season), so it seems like the ones inside were either living there or had come in with a prior visit and then stayed. Note also that despite the photos on Hipcamp (which appear to have been taken by a prior guest) there are no animals on the property, which was a disappointment for our kids.

RV’ing on the farm

We stayed there for the last 3 days and had a very nice time. I think our RV was a bit too big for the space - we are 43’ long and 13.5’ tall- the main issue was the height. We had some problems getting into the space because of a tree that the owners so kindly trimmed the next day so it would be easier to get out. The space we parked in was plenty big, there is just some careful positioning you have to get in to turn into. We had a fun time with the goats and the other farm animals and we did some little day hikes around the area. Len and Kimberly were super helpful and very friendly!

We had a weekend getaway at Carbonado Ranch RV and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location in Orting was peaceful and scenic, offering a nice escape from the city. The check-in process was smooth, with a friendly meet-and-greet from the host Kimberly upon arrival, which made us feel welcome right away. The site was spacious enough for our group, including two kids and a pet, and it was great to have the flexibility to bring our furry friend along. The surroundings were quiet, and we appreciated the natural beauty of the area—perfect for relaxing and spending quality time outdoors.

We needed a quick overnight stay after a couple weeks of camping and were grateful that Len and Kimberly could accommodate us. We met Kimberly, who was lovely and kind and showed us around the RV and area surrounding the campsite. My son loved being able to pet the friendly goats and the outdoor space has lots of room to run around. There were really nice amenities in the RV like a good TV and sound bar, a little propane fireplace, and cold AC. I was disappointed to find that the carpet hadn't been vacuumed, there was trash still in the garbage can from someone else, and hay and dirt on the floors in the bathroom and kitchen. I offered my feedback directly to Len and he indicated it was unusual, and based on other reviews I'm guessing it's typically very clean. The couch was really comfy but the beds were not and when I suggested that an extra pad on one of the beds could help guests in the future, Len explained RV mattresses are typically not super comfortable. We had been sleeping on backpacking sleeping pads in a tent for the last couple weeks as we traveled cross country so we don't need luxury, but I think my expectations may have been too high because of the cost we were paying and previous experience with minimal lodging stays. I think the other benefits of the property and as a homebase for the surrounding area (so many wonderful trails and beautiful scenery!) would make this stay worth it for others, it just wasn't a good fit for us this time.

What a cool spot. Len is a great guy who obviously cares about the people he’s renting to. The power went out just as we were arriving. He met us at the camper as we arrived and was quick with solutions. He brought us propane and had a back up generator for cases just like this. We ended up not needing it as the power came back on pretty quickly while we were out to eat. That kind of initiative is hard to find these days but he was there when it counted. The camper was great too it rained hard the first night we there but we were snug as a bug. The animals were fun as we woke up to the chickens just hanging out in the yard in the morning. Pigs, goats, chickens; it was great! We would definitely book again. Hey maybe for next year’s baseball tournament?

Peace and Quiet

It was very quiet and Len helped me with loading and unloading my heavy generator even though I didn't need it but my wife and I went to Seattle to see the city and I didn't want it to dissappear like my other one did so I give Len and his wife 2 thumbs up

Perfect getaway!

We had such an amazing stay here. The area is beautiful and the RV was in excellent condition. The camper was equipped with pretty much everything you could think of to be comfortable and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful, and a short drive to town, rivers, lakes and hiking trails. Even the drive from the main road to the driveway was stunning, we passed deer each time we passed, and saw bald eagle in a branch that was only a few feet away. I can't recommend this site enough, it was the perfect weekend getaway, my only complaint is that we didn't stay an extra few nights.

This was a great place for my family to stay, We ended staying for awhile. The views were nice and the animals were friendly. The game room was a good place for the kids to get away from us and enjoy some free time. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to relax and get away from it all. It is also close to plenty of hiking. The hosts (Len and Kimberly) were helpful but gave us our space & privacy, they are super nice and friendly.

Great Stay on Scenic Farm!

Beautiful location/ great set up

Really enjoyed our stay at the Upper Game room RV site. Len & Kim were awesome; helpful, responsive & great with advice of things to do in the area. Their ranch land location is absolutely beautiful, quiet & so peaceful. You are greeted by the goat’s & potbelly pigs. It truly takes you away from it all & slows your life down for the duration of your stay. A fantastic place to relax & recharge! We’d definitely stay there again! In a practical sense; flat gravel pads for the trailer/RV, all of the hook ups & septic drain were well placed & easily accessible. Great experience!
