Welcome to our charming A-frame cabin with panoramic Hood Canal views. Perfect for romantic getaways, outdoor adventures, or solo retreats, this cozy cabin is your gateway to the PNW's wonders, all within a 15 minute drive. Hike in Olympic National Park, hunt in Olympic National Forest, or fish in the Hood Canal and Duckabush River. Enjoy local delights like Hama Hama oysters. Spot our resident elk herd and birds of prey. *Early check-in, sometimes allowed The space Indoors: At Camp Duckabush, comfort and rustic charm blend seamlessly. The tranquil loft bedroom is a cozy retreat with a comfortable bed, soft hypoallergenic linens, reading nook, and a private balcony offering peaceful views. Sleep well at night with available A/C in the loft. Please note, the ladder to the loft is steep. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with a propane oven/stove, fridge, freezer, and everything else you could need, making meal preparation a breeze. Featuring delicious locally roasted Rainshadow Coffee and a variety of teas. The cabin includes a 3/4 bathroom with modern amenities. For those working remotely or catching up on emails, the dedicated workspace includes high-speed fiber optic internet, desk, lamp and an ergonomic chair. The dining area is perfect for meals and game nights, featuring a bistro table surrounded by windows and a selection of games and activities. There is even a spotting scope to help you enjoy all the wildlife that can be seen across the hood canal. Beautiful spot with a stunning view of Hood Canal! The space was cozy, thoughtfully designed, and full of charming touches that made it feel special. Everything we needed was right there, and the hosts clearly put care into every detail. Had such a fun, relaxing weekend—would definitely come back!

Camp Duckabush: Hood Canal A-Frame
We enjoyed our stay at the rustic A-Frame cabin with gorgeous views. It was a great place to kick back and relax and yet be close to a plethora of recreational opportunities. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen with quality kitchenware. We enjoyed, with the use of the provided spotting scope, watching the groups of Bald Eagles feeding on the mud flats at low tide. We ESPECIALLY appreciated that our dog was welcome.

Camp Duckabush: Hood Canal A-Frame
My stay at Camp Duckabush was nothing short of magical. The A-frame cabin is cozy, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. Waking up in the tranquil loft bedroom to views of the Hood Canal while drinking coffee on the balcony was an absolute dream. Inside, the cabin had everything I needed—from a fully stocked kitchen (with locally roasted Rainshadow Coffee!) to a comfy living area with blankets, propane heater 🔥, and FireTV. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the reading nook, board games, and even a spotting scope to watch the local wildlife. The outdoor space was just as memorable. I spent the evening lounging outside with a glass of wine in the provided lounge chairs. The views of the Hood Canal were stunning, and the peaceful setting made it feel like a true escape from the everyday. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a solo retreat, or just some time to reconnect with nature, I can’t recommend this place enough. I left feeling completely recharged and already dreaming of my next visit.

Camp Duckabush: Hood Canal A-Frame
Our mini-honeymoon at Camp Duckabush was absolutely divine! We started each morning with coffee in hand, taking in the peaceful marshland views and spotting local wildlife. The A-frame’s interior is adorably decorated with charming touches throughout. Our host Makayla was wonderful, attentive and quick to respond to any needs. The cabin made the perfect base for outdoor adventures, from hiking to a stunning waterfall to enjoying panoramic views at Mount Walker lookout. We even had the magical experience of watching a family of elk cross the road, with the majestic bull bringing up the rear. Evenings were spent unwinding around the cozy fire pit, the perfect way to end each day. Thank you for an incredible stay!

Excellent stay here. Makayla was very responsive and thought of everything so that I felt at home. Loved the coziness of the place, the view, and lounging in the hammock on cold days but basking in the sun. Will definitely be back. Lots to do in the area. This was a perfect base camp.

We enjoyed our time at the A-frame! Makayla was very accommodating, responsive, and provided everything we could want for a relaxing stay. I loved waking up with a view of the water from the bed. The couch is super comfy and the whole place invites relaxation, with the books and board games and coloring pages. I appreciate this spot being dog friendly, and I felt comfortable letting my young puppy run around the yard without a leash.

Camp Duckabush: Hood Canal A-Frame
Makayla is an excellent host. The it's A-frame cabin is darling and a total delight. Updated, but still retaining the original charm. Visited for the Veteran's Day weekend with my Mom and 10 year old son. Made wonderful memories. If you have time, check out the 5 min hike to a beautiful waterfall- Rocky Brook Falls. It's off Dosewallips Road, very close to the cabin.

Camp Duckabush: Hood Canal A-Frame
This delightful little A-frame is more than a building. It was clear every detail had been arranged for my ease and comfort ... from a well-stocked kitchen to additional thought given to my individual needs. I do believe Makayla thought of absolutely everthing! I believe my favorite part of the stay was very simply sitting at the window in the early morning overlooking the Hood Canal. It was wonderfully quiet and the light was amazing!
